Halloween at Crafts and Me

Hello!!!  I'm back again with a new creation for Crafts & Me Halloween Challenge.  For this I went with monochrome and chose Elainia by Hannah Lynn who is a cute little Vampire.  I thought I had some black flowers but a rummage through my stash and I have everything but black!  I did find these Cala Lilies though which I thought went well with the theme (I think it could also be used as a gothy birthday card)
I've coloured with promarkers in cool greys.  For the hair which you might find a bit scary from the stamp I just flicked lines ending in black (use a fine nib or a tria marker for the extra fine lines)
The face and skin I used the blender, cool grey 1, 2 and 3.

The background papers are Crafts and Me Floral Fantasy Monotone.  I mounted on a shimmer white card and some black/violet core'denations card which is a black card stock you scratch the top layer off to reveal the colour "core" in this case a violet.  I've added some white pearls and mirror squares.

A bit Goth

Evening all!  Early tonight as I have a date with The Mentalist :)))
Been in a bit of a Marilyn Manson mood today and opted to colour in Elainia which is a new digi by Hannah Lynn over at Crafts & Me

The actual digi doesnt come with too many swirls in the hair so its nice for beginners as you can just do a solid block of colour and trace a bit darker around the outlines like the original whereas I kinda put a line in here and a line in there and you know how it is the pen just runs away with you and you end up with curls and twirls :)  Had a lot of fun though :)

I added some make up and pinky purple cheeks and added 4 little dots with a white gel pen and mounted in a frame made with a corner adourner.  The black organza ribbon bow looked too neat so I shredded the ends and Ive used one of the Tim Holtz clock dies with pine needsles distress ink and a little doily dyed with my purple versacolor ink pad (then it finally fell apart lol!)  I dyed some of the flowers black and purple with promarkers and added some black nail heads and the clock hands on the bottom right.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

BTW Promarkers used (As I know you find it helpful but I'm so forgetful!) were..

Orchid, Purple, Aubergine (Hair/Eye make up)
Blush, Orchid, Fuschia (Skin/cheeks)
Cool grey 1, 3, 5, Black (Clothes)
Grass, Lush (Eyes)

All things bright and beautiful

I know I know corny or what haha!  I do struggle with post titles sometimes lol!  Well I've finished me scribblings tonight and I've got some images staring at me shouting to be coloured, I swear I must be addicted to promarker fumes or something!  Maybe I should start a help group....  Actually I'm not alone, I think a few of us on Promarker Paradise facebook group have the same affliction!

Ethan's a bit better today so just keeping him off one more day whilst he gets his immune system back in shape and pumping him full of vitamins.  Even found a medicine he'll take as he goes mad if you try giving him calpol, he HATES it!  The Lloyds pharmacy equivalent is cherry flavour so he's quite happy with that.  Kinda liked having him home on his own as we dont get to spend much time just the two of us and of course when your kids are sick they just want cuddles so gonna miss him when he goes back school.

As promised I finished off my little scribbling and this one is by Hannah Lynn (Digi) and is called OCEAN ROSE.  The original is colured very boldly so I went along with that, mind you all Hannah Lynn ones scream COLOUR MEEEEEE! I've added lots of glamour dust and left the rose white and glittered too and made a little stick pin :)  It has lace, a gem brad, a brad with a flower printed on, stick pin, glitter, hot pink sticky gems, swirly bits, flowers and nice papers with a tim holtz sentiment :)

Promarkers were cerise, mulberry, violet and orchid for the hair and aquamarine (flex) duck egg, turquoise and marine for the blue bits

Female relative/Mum at Passion for Promarkers and Things with wings at Crafts & Me

Well haven't I been a naughty blogger!  My new years resolution in tatters lol!  I just couldnt get on blogger last night and was in so much pain anyway I just scribbled away furiously instead :(  Back to the Drs on friday unless I ring at 8am tomorrow and try and grab a book on the day one, I hope so as the tablets he gave last week are about to run out eeeek!  Not that they *do* anything anyway but its a comfort thinking they might ease it off a little.

Got 2 cards to share with you tonight.  The first one is for Passion for Promarkers DT and the challenge is For a female relative/Mum.  I wanted to print a mothers day sentiment for this one but I completely ran out of card, not one sheet left so have been up to Strikes today and had a scribble on some of theirs and got one suitable for the digi papers I print and one suitable for colouring work.  I hope Letraset bring out that gorgeous new card they have in their new stamp packs soon as I'm itching to get hold of some more of that, its like silk and blends beautifully!

Crafty Emma's Store is sponsoring this week with a £10 voucher to spend there so rmember to use your promarkers/flexmarkers/tria or aquamarkers to be eligible!

For this I used a recently acquired Tilda stamp called Tilda spreading love and she's actually throwing hearts around but I thought that a bit valentineish so I used flowersoft instead.  I chose a turquoise colour theme as I didnt want it to appear too weddingish either lol!  I added a little heart charm to the bow (that really helps set it aside from valentines/weddings....!) and the making memories cherish border (Oh dear, blame the medication!) and a heart shaped doily (OK I'm amusing myself now!)  The papers are floral fantasy by Crafts and Me and I used some ancient button brads with some turquoise prima flowers.

Next up is Crafts & Me and our challenge this week is Things with Wings.  Naturally as the shop is FULL of winged fairies, angels and creatures I selected a stamp that hasnt got wings only because I really really love Melody and wanted to colour her :)  This one is Fashion Melody by Lemon Shortbread.  I saw the rest of the DT had naturally gone with images that are fairies/angels so got a bit nervous but then Mona piped up that she was using Cali Girl which isnt either so safety in numbers ha!

As I'd run out of card for printing on I had a rummage through the ones I'd already printed off from the Floral Fantasy paper pack and went for one with hot pink flowers on which isn't a colour you'll see here too often, I do like to push the boat out sometimes :)  I wanted to keep this pretty simple mainly because I'd also run out of glue dots so flowers were out of the question but with papers like this in the background you dont *need* a lot of embellishment as the paper does the work for you.  I used some letratac to attach the butterflies :)

This particular paper has gorgeous hot pink flowers with some violet tones in the bottom corner so I picked those colours out and scribbled away adding a fold here and there and punched out little violet and holographic silver flowers for her brooch and added punched butterflies and some pink gems and 2 diddy pearls on her pockets.  The sentiment is from a stampman sheet and its matted on violet and holographic silver card.

A turquoise Tilda

Evening all!  Had a lovely time at craft club, spent the day scribbling away which I find very relaxing :)
I made a card up with one of the images I coloured today using a fab new colour combo I picked up from Debs (Thanks sweetie!) and it uses duck egg, cool aqua, aquamarine (flex) and a smidgen of honeydew (flex)
I added the image which is Tilda with small present, to 2 doilys, OH came in and said it didnt look right, sheesh let me finish!  I said yes there is a butterfly going there and flowers there - Ooooooh!  He of little faith!

I've coupled it with the new papers from Crafts & Me, Floral Fantasy (Can you tell I like them yet lol!)  Tracy had a great idea about the papers too, she said she'd print them out a couple of times and decoupage the flowers and add a simple sentiment in the middle, fab idea!

I've added white brilliance ink to the edge of the butterfly and 3 diddy crystal gems down its centre and a couple on the bows in her hair and the stopper is a nesties labels, embossed and added broken china distress ink.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

A nice easy card

Evening all!  Have finished my rounds of birthday parties today, worn out dot com lol!  They both had a really great time at their respective parties although they were both jealous of the others party bag, always the way isnt it!  Ethan got a whoopie cushion in his and how to amuse a 5 year old for hours on end it was!
Off to craft club tomorrow for my monthly haven yay!

Have got a really simple card to show you tonight using the papers I showed last night (FLORAL FANTASY BY CRAFTS & ME) and I'd said I thought these would look nice with just a simple sentiment so thought I'd try and see.

I printed one out and cut a piece of bazzil jewelled cardstock 1/2" bigger then used a corner adourner and popped it in and mounted on a white card base then printed out a sentiment on the PC and used a nesties label to cut it out, embossed then ran a glue pen around the embossed edge and added some glamour dust and 3 tiny roses and a prima flower.
I added some more touches of glamour dust to the edges of the flowers and butterflies.

It was really easy to make and you wouldnt need to add anything really.  I think if you're making several for sale to colleagues or charity then this would be a good choice as you can do really quick makes with them.

Hope you like my lil card, I'm off to bed x

A lightning make

Evening all!  Kids broke up today so I have them for a whole week, and I can UNSET my alarm for a whole week too yay!  I have to drag Ethan out of bed most mornings so I think he'll appreciate a lie in as well :)

I've got a lightning make to show you tonight using brand new digi papers by Crafts & Me.  I absolutely love them as I love fantasy things, purples, blues and green so was thrilled with these and with new printer they're printing out a dream.
I wanted to try a really quick make as I usually spend at least an hour on colouring an image alone so I used one of the new digi papers and dropped another digi on and printed out, OK not quite that straight forward but I'll try and explain further down lol!

These papers are called Forest Fairy and you can find them HERE.  There are 30 in the pack and are available for immediate download.

From printing to photographing this took me 32 minutes which must be a recond for me!  OK the arm needs a little more blending but I'll do that tommoz!  If you're familiar with photo editting software (I use paint shop pro) then I made a copy of the paper then then opened up my digi image, May by Sara Burrier Oh it needs to be the JPG format as the PNG is transparent and you DONT want that!

You might need to resize your stamp so do this then I used the magic wand and clicked outside the lines on the stamp then selected SELECTIONS -> INVERT then copied and went back to the background and pasted as NEW LAYER.

With Layer 2 selected in layers panel I clicked on any white bits I wanted removing with the magic wand then used the eraser tool.  This will erase just inside the area you selected with the magic wand and only affect the 2nd layer (the digi stamp) as thats selected.  Most should be OK and only need a touch up but remember you'll need the JPG version.  This then leaves your image filled in white on top of the background so you can colour as you like :)

For this I used flexmarkers on everything but the skin and added glamour dust to the wings and turquoise glitter to the stars then gave it a spray with dazzling diamonds glimmer mist. Really quick make for me and will be handy for last minute birthdays!

Thanks for stopping by and back tommoz x

Use a new image at Crafts & Me

Evening all!  Blimey where's the time gone tonight?  Still got loads to do tonight so flying by with my DT for Crafts & Me and this week I'd like to see you use a new image.  Doesn't matter if its rubbah or digi or even if its brand new today or a year old so long as it's its debut performance.  We all have them don't we lol!

For this I've used a new rubbah which will be debuting at the Stevenage show on Sunday so if you're there pop over and say hi to Teresa and Tracey on the Crafts & Me stall.
This stamp is one from the new Jasmine Becket-Griffith collection and is called Emerald Angel.  I coloured with promarkers in similar colours to the original (although not a patch on it lol!) but I think I'd like to see this one in lighter pinkys and purples.  I made quite a basic card as the team all contribute to the show books so if you go to the stall you can see a live example of all the rubbah stamps they sell but we also keep them quite simples so the books dont get too bulky :)

So I do hope you'll join in my little challenge and get round to using that new image that hasnt had an inking yet :)

2012 Promarker Tutorials - Monotone

Good Evening all!  I'm back again with another promarker tutorial for you and this time we're looking at colouring in monotone.  It might seem a bit daunting as of course your colours are somewhat restricted but in case you haven't noticed my banner up there you'll see I kinda quite like colouring in monotone and hope to teach you how to do this and *think* in monotone :O)

Firstly I would HIGHLY recommend using an image you're familiar with.  Doesn't necessarily have to be the easiest one just one you personally enjoy and are familiar with.  If you've previously coloured one in photograph it then use your photo editting software and turn it into GREYSCALE.  A lot of the free programs also do this.

This will be your guide whilst you train your brain to think in monotone.  So firstly grab your coloured image, I've used Miss Mirabelle by Hannah Lynn (Crafts & Me)

Next use a photo edting program and turn your image greyscale (I think photobucket does it).  Print it out or save it on screen.  This will give you a great guide how dark or light colours are in greys and help with shadows and highlights

OK feeling confident?  Grab a full set of greys - I use COOL GREY 1-5 plus the BLENDER.  If you think in terms of skin tones then the blender will be equivalent of ivory, cool grey 1 will be your blush and cool grey 2 your vanilla or colour you use for shadow.

For the skin tone I started with the darkest colour first in the shadow areas on the skin so use COOL GREY 2 and add some shading.

Next use your COOL GREY 1 which will be the equivalent of your blush and working from the dark into the light blend the colours in

Then to finish the skin off use your blender which is the same as ivory and it should be looking nice and luminous like below :)

Next look at your greyscale image and you'll see the bra bit is darker than the top so I used the darkest greys here COOL GREY 4 & 5 and a lighter mix for the top COOL GREY 3 & 4.  If anything appears to dark just run your blender over it lightly and let it dry.

Then onto the hair, I used COOL GREY 5 for the darkest parts at the roots etc then blend that in with a mid tone COOL GREY 3 then the lightest bits are COOL GREY 1.  You can also leave a bit of white showing or again use the blender to lighten the highlight points.

And here she is completed!  I only did one layer on this one but you can add a bit more depth to it doing a 2nd layer or using coloursoft/prisma pencil too

Here's the 2 completed side by side.  Hope you enjoyed the tutorial and do have a go at this lovely technique, you'll be hooked!

What's in a name?

Evening all!  I'm poorly ick ick tonight, got some kind of tummy bug and cant eat owt and I'm sooooo hungry!  I'm dreaming of that whole pizza I'm going to have tomorrow mmmmmm
Should be alright tomorrow, better had be I had loads to do today which now has to be done tomorrow accch pffft!

Anyway I have one to share with you tonight and the topic is "Whats in a name?"

Have you ever been influenced for or against buying a stamp simply by what its called?  I say this as I'm a sucker for a well named stamp, star usually does it for me lol!  I've always liked things called Star from when I was little, its just something I warm to immediately :)

Teresa from Crafts & Me sent me my DT digis yesterday and I couldnt contain my excitement on 2 of them.  One because its called JANESSA.  I have a cousin called Janessa which is an unusual name especially round these parts and I was aware Hannah Lynn had one of her drawings called this so imagine my excitement that its now a digi!!  Tell ya if I wasn't on the DT I would have knocked you flying in the rush haha!

Then I downloaded the other images I'd been sent as I'd already run off to print Janessa out and coloured her skin in :)  The next one to catch my eye was LADY OF THE STARS and I just KNEW I'd like it and I opened it and wasn't disappointed!  This one is by Sara Burrier and she's just a beaut!  I quite often trim the digis down if they're long ones but this I wanted to keep at her full length so I made a 7x5 card which I don't do to often nowadays.

I coloured with flexmarkers on the dress with a bit of azure promarker and have added loads of glamour dust to the star string and wings and finally added some itty bitty stars which are nail art ones and glued them on individually - its the aspergers in me I love finicky detail :)

Anyway I made this for a certain lady who hugely inspires me and has been a massive influence on me over the years so I'll pop that in post tommoz - watch all the stars fall off lol!

Carrying on with the names thing, theres a lovely digi stamp by saturated canary which I do like the look of and love seeing everyones coloured versions *but* she has same name as ex husbands previous wife urrrrgh!  Funny how things like that can put you off!  Hey you cant please everyone and I've bought plenty more there lol!

So here's my Lady of the Stars which I thoroughly enjoyed colouring in :)

Pink & Sparkly at Crafts and Me

Well we're over to Karen to host her first challenge at Crafts and Me this week and she has chosen the favourite theme of lots of us - Pink & Sparkly :D :D :D

For this I used the digi stamp by Hannah Lynn called Moonglow which I think will become a firm favourite with me as she has lovely lines to colour.  I went for just a few strands of a darker pink using mulberry and lighter pinks using baby pink and the pink lavender flexmarker on her hair.  Her skin is coloured with ivory, blush, coral, cinnamon, soft peach and cocoa and I think I used some rose pink on her cheeks!
All the white bits (on her top, flower and spine of wings) are glittered with glamour dust and the flowers are all glittered with stickles crystal.  The boingy things in the flowers already came glittered :)
Thats not green card on there BTW its holographic silver.  Isnt it funy how your tastes change, 3 years ago I used to despise holographic card now I love it!

Flowers are from wild orchid, the cute butterfly is by papermania and I've used a butterfly embossing folder which brand escapes me!

Hope you can come and join in Karens first pink and sparkly challenge over at Crafts & Me this week :)

Girls just wanna have fun

Evening all!  Theres a new challenge this week over at Passion for Promarkers chosen by Gro and it is to Be inspired by a song.  For this I had a rummage through my images to see which one 'spoke' to me and this is the one that came out - she's SO Cyndi Lauper!
We have a fab prize up for grabs from Letraset too - one of their stamping kits!

The image is a rubber stamp by Hannah Lynn called Birthday Girl coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers with lots of added clear sakura stardust pen so its very sparkly.
I've used y new papermania papers, silver holographic card and blue paper from Bearly Mine with organza ribbon, a puffed heart charm and some sticky gems.

Midway reminder Crafts & Me anything goes

Evening all! Bet you thought I'd forgot my resolution hehe!  Fear not I'm here lol!  Not here for much longer mind as I've had some Ovaltine so I'll be hitting the sack soon enough.

Kids went back to school today, they were NOT impressed being woken up at 7.30 am after all the long lie ins we've had over christmas break.  Ethan was particularly miffed saying But its still dark!!
After school I took them to the local dog shelter as we're considering getting a puppy but I wanted to see how they reacted around dogs first.  Ethan took it in his stride, Mols was a tad scared particularly of a huge rottie, so was I lol!  It just didnt seem to like people in general :/
No rush yet and we're still considering breeds, having some good suggestions on facebook, border terrier is my fav but I think Mols would love a spaniel with floppy ears.

Right-O onto my creation today and its a mid-way reminder for Crafts & Me Challenge which is running for 4 weeks and is an ANYTHING GOES.  For this I wanted to make a "Sound & Light Thingy" :D

Its a windchime but also has hanging stars with AB coating that really sparkle in the light.  I used the Crafts & Me digi MAY and coloured with promarkers and added versacolor ink in pale purple and a darker purple around the edge.  I did play around with some flowers and whatnot but decided to leave it as is.  The wires are secured on a strip of mounting board in the middle so its very secure although they do get tangled up and took me about 15 minutes to untangle them and hang it up lol!  The hanger is made of AB coated crystals too.

Let the music move you

Rose has set a challenge this fortnight at Crafts & Me and she has chosen "Let the music move you" and would like to see song words, musical instruments, notes or simply be inspred by music.  For this one I used one of the brand new digis by Hannah Lynn called Moonglow, now you KNOW I just had to have that one given my addiction to moonglow products!

This was inspired by a track you might remember called Blue Monday but not the Depeche Mode version, the version I like is a by a band with a rude name and is a synth rock version - Link to video here if you're interested lol!

I've coloured with promarkers and used distress ink and stains around the edge in stormy skies and dusty concord.  The flourish is by sizzix

A colour challenge at Crafty Cardmakers

Afternoon all!  We're having a colour challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers this fortnight and we'd like to see you use the combo PINK/BROWN/CREAM on your designs - Yummmmy!  Theres a great prize from One Stop Card Crafts up for grabs so pop over and have a looksie at the team designs, a couple of gorgeous christmas ones there too!

For this I went with one of the ultra cute Teddy Bo digis, I'm loving these bears!  This one is called Daisy Chain.  I coloured it in one of the new promarker ultra fine sets, this one uses the Hair set which is Buttercup, Pastel Yellow, Ginger, Chestnut and Walnut.  I also used it on the card below and wanted to see how the colours would look on a bear too so yes they work very well so are a good buy.
The dress and flowers I coloured with flexmarkers and promarkers.

This one I played with the hair set again and I know you all lke the close ups so have put one on for you lol!  Must admit the colours aren't one I would have put together but they work really really well and of course you can just use the buttercup and pastel yellow for a blonde, add in the ginger and a touch of chestnut for a more reddy tone or go for the brunette, lots of scope.  I used all of the colours on the hair here to give her nice shiny toned locks.  I again used flexmarkers and promarkers for the dress.  Again wanted to keep it simples with lots of white though not quite CAS its nearly there (just cant resist adding things!)  I simply scored the white card with my scoring blade and used a textured purple card (coredinatons) adding some silver bling and white flowers.

Image is Lady of Opal by Crafts and Me that I put into a square frame with rounded corners and cut out letting the hair flow outside the lines.

More from new artist at Crafts & Me - Janna Prosvirina

Wowzers I LOVE this new artist!  The girls on the Crafts & Me team have been showing off some of the new stamps over at Crafts & Me challenges this week, do go have a look as they are jaw droppingly awesome!

I'm clearly in a green mood this week as I have been playing with the new Letraset ultra fine nibs again, got loads more to show I haven't finished yet too so keep a look out over the next few days!  There is a chance to win a pack of the new ultra fine nibs which come in themed sets on the post below this!

Now those of you who know me will know I'm very critical of my own work, always striving to do better than the one before, spend time on the little details and there's not many I can say you know I'm really proud of that but this is one I can!  I think the new nibs have certainly helped appeased my critical eye as I've put shadows in I normally wouldn't dare such as on the berries and around the end bit on the berry to make them really pop.  I keep looking at this card everytime I walk past, I'm pretty chuffed how its turned out :D

Its a new stamp by Janna Prosvirina and will be released for sale in Crafts and Me this Sunday (10% discount for registered newsletter readers) and this beauty is called Belladona.  I used promarkers, flexmarkers and the ultra fine promarker nibs for this using burgundy and maroon for the flowers and adding the shadow with a fine nib using cool grey 5.  The dress is grass, emerald and pine with the Honeydew flexmarker to blend and coloured the white around the image.  Thge leaves are coloured in the ultra fine nibs using marsh, olive and leaf greens.

Have kept it quite simples as its a large image and didnt need too much by way of embellishment :)
Hope you like her and check out the new range!

Stripes at Crafts & Me

Evening all, howz your day been?  I've got one of the little uns off today with a cold which she's kindly shared with me, back to school woes!  My eldest had some reverse out of their driveway into her 2 weeks ago and she's got the insurance cheque in full today - thats gotta be the quickest ever settlement in history surely lol!  So at the weekend we're car shopping again.  She's seen a car she likes, its yellow!  Irrelevant to a teenage girl what make/model/engine size it is, its yellow!

Went to Padgate Crafters over the weekend and just did some colouring so coloured up this new digi by Crafts & Me called Miss Mirabelle which is of course by Hannah Lynn.  Isn't she just gorgeous, I just love this one so will be experimenting with colour schemes.

The challenge this week over at Crafts & Me, with yours truly as your hostess, is Stripes.   I can be quite chaotic so I like to bring a little order in somewhere :)  The prize is a splendid choice of 6 digi stamps from Crafts & Me, how can you resist Miss Mirabelle!  We also have a new facebook chat group where you can post your creations using the stamp range and we offer a prize here or there too - find it here!

Okies onto me card like!  I coloured with promarkers using browns, tans, pink and grey with the odd touches of blue.  The papers are by Bearly Mine (the stripy ones) and background one is DCWV (either once upon a time or olde worlde stack)  I inked a paper doily for the corner with a brown brilliance ink and the charm is recycled from something of DD's from primark.  The butterfly in the corner has been coloured with metallic gold ferro paint (from The Stampman) to keep in with the steampunk/metallic theme.  Gold gems are from The Robins Nest.  Had real fun making this one as I seemed to have left my mojo on holiday lol!  Now next mission is how to pack it to post as its for somebodys birthday next week ssssh!

Buttons N Bows N this N that!

Aternoon all!!  How was your weekend?  I've had a busy week with Ethan's first week at proper school, well he only did 2 hours a day last week, he's doing 3 this week then next week he's in full time yippeeee!  I miss him of course *ahem* lol!  Little Miss Moo also goes to pre-school, shes been going 2 sessions a week privately since January but now we can get vouchers she's in a lot more!  So next week you might actually see me a bit more (inbetween the studying/applying for jobs!)
Here's my handsome lad going into school - ahhhhh!

Over the weekend I went out with OH on the bikes, have not ridden wth him before as I only passed my CBT end of July then just did a couple of short trips, my bike, Stanley, needed a repair then it was holiday so this was our first chance really!  We did 90 miles around Cheshire yesterday, had great fun!  I do prefer the country lanes though as several cars were just completely ignorant, I'm not on a pushbike ya know!  This is Stanley posing next to The Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank :)

And my card of course!  I'm a bit late (as usual!) posting this, I'll get more organised once the routine is set next week!
The challenge until wednesday at Crafts & Me is Buttons & Bows.  For this I used one of the newer digis called Porcini, isnt she so pretty!  I think this one is a team favourite :)  I've coloured with promarkers feather blending the pink and the yellow together and added sparkle on the wings with glamour dust.  The ribbon has hearts on and I used teeny buttons
