Together is the best..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all~

Today I decided to make another tag - With Valentines day looming, the tag reflects that.

I started by spraying on some spray stains and some oxide spray to get the background. Once dry, I stamped the moon and then sprayed with squeezed lemon and saltwater taffy sprays.

I also swiped the edges of the tag with vintage photo ink pad for a bit of distressed look,
Next I stamped the five hearts with red ink.
For the image of the couple, I stamped and fussy cut them out and then used water color pencils to color them. They layer so nicely.
I used foam tape on the back of them except at the bottom of them, I used double stick tape.
For the verse I used TH Small talk sticker book.. To finish the tag, I used some gold Dresden trims at the top and bottom of the tag.
And that is it- I hope you enjoyed.

Always be on the lookout.... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello friends,

I made an art tag for the project today~ enjoy.

For the tag I started with salvaged patina distress spray. covered the tag and then used a paint brush to watercolor the vintage photo and weathered wood in opposite corners.

Once that was mostly dry, I used a paint brush and picket fence to start to put the clouds in.
You have to let the clouds dry a bit  and then add another layer. Once they are dry you can back with the thicker white high lights.

Next I fussy cut the boy in tub and colored him in using watercolor pencils and rusty hinge DSS.
I added transparent moth wings foe whimsey.
Next I added the phrase sticker. I also added a flat back clear gem to the telescope.
I used foam tape in a double layer to make the boy in tub pop off the tag. and that's it!

Moonlight grave yard by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!!

Continuing on with my October vibe, is an art tag for this week...

As you know I absolutely love my mixed heavy stock paper. It can take the bombardment of liquids I throw at it and turns out great. This tag is a testament to that. I tend to keep adding sprays or paints, etc until I am happy with my project. I stamped the moon and then the tree stamp.

I started with two yellows and then dried it some and then continued with my dark colors..
You can see how wet this tag is in this pic. the next one will show after drying with heat tool.
I added more yellow down by the tree. I also added black for my clouds. adding sprays can lighten other colors you have down already- see my tree. But I am usually happy with the results. You can always go back in and repaint something that gets "bleached" out.
Once dry I went back and added to my tree branches and stamped the headstones.
I did walk away and let it dry through overnight. Things will lighten quite a bit by the next day.

You may want or need to go back in to darken some things up. I left mine as it was. I stamped the spiked fence on acetate and double stick tapped it on. I added the phrase using some TH stickers and that's it! Hope you enjoyed!

I do what I want... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Today I made a card for the blog-

For todays card, I wanted to do a watercolor. I stamped the image on mixed media heavy stock. it can really take a lot of medium weather its paints or water or whatever.

I stamped with black versafine clair and dried it with my heat tool. didn't want any smearing. Then I sprayed my TH stains into the plastic pallet. Then just start painting.

I chose the colors for the impression of innocence to go with the snarky sentence .For the blue background, I first went around with my wet paint brush and then took color just out of the cap of the bottle of salvage patina. I wanted it real light.

I dried the card, and then cut my cardstock for the layers and put it all together. Last, I put the sticker sentence on and carefully painted it yellow to match the card. And that is it! I hope you enjoyed!

Spring..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Hopefully we're all done with the snow now- So my project for today is an art tag for Spring!

I started by stamping the tree of life stamp, then the face.
Then I cut out some masks for the eyes so I could color them later. I used a post it note for the mask. Then I sprayed Spray stains until I was happy, then dried with heat tool and repeat until I had it how I wanted.

I also used a paint brush on my brown ink pad to put some branches in the tree.
Then I painted her eyes and lips and added some blue at the bottom corner of the tag for balance.

I stamped the mushrooms and fussy cut and then painted it, gathered some paper flowers and hot glued them on. I added some white gel pen details to the mushroom caps.
Then I stamped the insects and used sparkle gel pens on them.
Last, I found some sentiments from my TH sticker tablet and glued them on. I find they tend to fall off if not glued.
Hope you enjoyed!

Dorthy..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello everyone!

Today I have a very quick tag art to share. With all the stores having Halloween in, I was inspired.

I sprayed the tag with Crackling campfire and marigold and speckled egg spray stains. I  Stamped the horned face, added spray stains with a paint brush for highlights in hair and  used a white gel pen on her eyes. I stamped the spiders and added a sparkle to them using a glitter gel pen. For the finish, I used a stick verbage from a Halloween pack. Finally, I rubbed the black ink pad around the edges of the tag for a distress look.

Fish-tastic birthday by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello All! Today I made a Birthday card that will work for anyone in your life...

So first I Sprayed my card with a variety of spray stains, let dry then spray some more to get that water look.

next I stamped the corona virus image and added a bit of brown ink to  the tops of each blob for what will become my puffer fish balloons.
I tried drawing the faces on, on a different card for a test run and lets just say I stamp because I cannot draw. So that lead me to my trusty computer  where I googled puffer fish so I could  find a cute face to use. I still had to draw the fins but that was okay. Once I found a suitable fish face, I printed them out in different sizes to fit each balloon. I cut them out and glued them on. I then added Some fishing lure eyes I have a stock of in different sizes. I also stamped the shark and painted him in adding a glow in the dark eye to him.

Next I cut some waves from a wave die and also used a wave stencil to add waves to the card. I used just a part of the die cut waves and sponged ink onto it. then I added some glitter glue for a bit of sparkle.

I used foam tape on the back of the shark for dimension, placed him on card, then added die cut waves. Last I took a fine black marker and drew the balloon strings down to the shark like he's got them tied to his fin or something. I needed a saying so again, Typed them out on the computer and added ink and foam tape and stuck to card. Couple layers of cardstock and done!
I hope you enjoyed, it was a fun card to make! Until next time- stay crafty!
