I am enjoying life after exams. There's nothing nicer than sitting at a nice cafe, sipping coffee while reading short stories on The New Yorker on a fine Tuesday afternoon and have nothing to worry about. Ok almost nothing. I love coffee. Thank goodness i live in Melbourne.

Speaking of creperies, on another side of town, is another creperie which has better crepes. Too bad their drinks aren't as nice. Breizoz Crêpes, on Gertrude st. *hintsangkancilhint please come visit me hintwatermelonhint*

Melbourne Cup Sweep

Although we did win like 30 bucks in the sweep at the Melbourne Cup party but this is another kinda sweep.

I was swept off my feet by Michael's piano cover of Last Request by Paolo Nutini at the party. Now, i have never heard of that song before and the moment i heard him sing, i was stunned and all i could think of was "I am so very in love with him". Amazing voice, and extremely talented at the piano. I stood there mesmerized for about 2 minutes until i realized Xiaowen had to hear this guy sing.

Caffeine poisoning

i thinks i is having caffeine poisoning....

i can't remember when was the last time i was truly happy...... i really can't.

i still can't walk pass verve apartments without getting the chills and feeling sick in the stomach.

i wish a truck would just hit me while i'm crossing the road one day so i don't have to go to work.

i would like to wake up without feeling like i'm going to hate the rest of the day.

and yes it still hurts like hell....every single day.

so, i woke up at 7am one day and couldn't go back to sleep and this is what i ended up doing instead of doing my assignment (after breakfast, 1 cup of coffee, 1 cup of tea, and filling out tax returns). i cannot get any lamer than this.

i planted a magic lightbulb. very easy to care for. only needs EM radiation.

and when someone's having a mind jam they can stare at it and if it lights up they'll instantly get all the idea and solutions they require.

Stupidity

Thise wase on a La Senza receipt and I was a bit confusede aftere reading it.

Firste it says goodse STRICTLY cannote be exchanged.

Then, they decide oke, you can exchange ite within 7 dayse.

I think management wase a women. Couldn't decide which statement to put on the

exchange and refunde policye.

Walked under a bus, got hit by a train

Something fairly interesting happened today so i think i'll blog about it. I had my first kinda-like-a-head-on collision road accident today. Still a lil traumatized but i'll live. Here's what happened. I was in fronta the Melb uni tram stop and there were cars on the road but there was a bit of a jam so i though i'll squeeze through the cars to get to the other side. The pedestrian light wasn't green mind you. So i steped onto the road the next thing i knew i heard a loud "AARRGGhH". The next 2 seconds is kinda fuzzy. Then crash bang alakazam, i'm splat on the ground, landed partially on my right arm and my abdomen and the other guy and his bicycle landed on top of me. Talk about O-U-C-H. When i could finally lift myself off the floor, all i could think of was how terribly sorry i was and i kept apologizing to the cyclist. His bike kinda got wreck plus he flew off his bike so i couldn't help but feel tremendously guilty for jay walking. Some passerby were kind enough to pick up my shoes for me which surprisingly managed to land on the other side of the road near the tram tracks 0_O. I walked off (rushing to work, yes i was hit by a bike and all i could think of was getting to work on time after that) with 2 grazed elbows and a very bruised knee (which i later discovered). Now my abdomen feels kinda funny. Feels like when u jump into a pool and land on your tummy! And my right arm feels a bit lame like it has no strength. I wana cuddle up to someone. Need-a-boyfren.

hmmm i just had a terrible accident can i pull a sickie and not go to work. well of course you can but.... what are you going to eat smartie pants? Note to self: There are other vehicles on the road apart from cars. Read BICYCLE.

Gu

One of the few things that I miss terribly from London(appart from Eunice). Gu chocolatte puds.
