Oh my GOD!!!! I've been Tagged!!!

I've been so out of touch!

I saw only today that I've been tagged by Carol of Carol's little treasures.

This is the very first time I've been tagged.

OK,

So here it goes.......

This is the 5th picture in the fifth folder of My pictures folder.

It was taken on 16th of Feb 2007 and you can see my son Vaasu here sitting on his cot.

The pretty baby cot was gifted to him by my elder sister on his first birthday.

It was really pretty with a nice pastel green and lots of lace in white.

I'd decorated it with all of Vaasu's toys and a general theme of Vinnie the Pooh.

The picture is special as he's wearing Vinnie the Pooh's dress too!

My Brother-in-law had come over from Holland, where he's settled, for a vacation and brought him this dress.

And lastly to tell you the most amazing thing about Vaasu,

he never slept in this cot- every time I tried to make him sleep in it, eventually he would end up besides me on my bed and cuddle up in my arms!

I'm back!!!!!

What a week!

Lots of work at the hospital

and lots of work at home!

As the house was long due for painting and cleaning,

I was displaced to my mom's house and

my computer lay on the bed disassembled and covered up

with lots of sheets.

No contact with my webby friends,

and how I have missed being here!

Just a little tatting time could be managed in between all this.

So, added another round to the doily.

Look what I found in my crafty drawrer.....

tucked away at the bottom,

the first tatted thing I ever made!

The rings are Horrible......

and so are the joins.....

but now it sits on the computer table as a coaster!

Tired and sleepless and a new blog..........

So......

How do you like my new blog layout?

I'd been trying to do something and lost all the bloggy thingies I had on this blog.

My son loves Maukie the cat and the game panel is also for him,

he loves to play Bloons on it, so had to get these back.

Do you see the back ground......

I made it with the drawing programme

I'm always playing around with these days.

I was up almost all night yesterday putting back those thingies!!

Not put back the interesting links as yet as it was a long list!

I have some saved in the favorites folder...

but this is going to be another big task.

Then, just when I was too tired to go on anymore

and got up to go to bed ,

I had an emergency call to attend,

had to do a CS

and that took up the rest of the night.

Had another emergency section today morning,

so didn't sleep at all!

My thumb did not not get any rest either, and the pain has increased...

Maybe the trauma from the surgical instruments or maybe the tatting?

Whatever the reason,

it was troubling me a lot and

I had to get a little physiotherapy done today.

:(

No tatting ......

Moreover my hubby has gone to Chennai for a three day trip and will be back on Saturday night

and I'm missing him,

Hello,

Long time no posting.

It's not that I'm out or anything,
just not getting enough time!

I've been busy at the Hospital and have got a little

tenosynovitis of the thumb joint of my left hand

(and I'm left handed)

But not that I'm not tatting!

I've got a lot of WIP's at present.

I'm continuing with the Iris TIAS.....

and this is as far as I've got.....

Then I have the Design-tat group which is keeping me glued to my computer,

playing around with the drawing programmes.

I'm still very raw and end up with ghastly looking designs

but I'm trying......

.

Well ,let me show off a pattern that I made ...

Just a simple motif using small five ring flowers.

Then I added a little difficulty as I wanted to make it in one go

So, I inserted split rings.

The worst part was the stitch count part,

but I did manage it somehow.

I think it looks a little crowded but this is the best I could do,

Maybe I'll get better with time!

Tatting Day!

This is how I celebrated my Tatting day.

Added another round to the homework oval motif.

Not much to talk about , I'm so tired and just want to doze off in another minute.
