Welcome to our family blog!!

Chandler running a play at one of his games

Cambrie in her Miley/Hannah Montana shirt (thank you Aunt Shell and cousin Ashlyn)

I've finally decided to get with the millennium and the rest of the world and create a family blog...

Chandler just finished basketball season a couple of weeks ago with a couple more trophies and medals under his belt (he placed 3rd in the Long Shot competition for 7th & 8th grade boys making his last shot about 2 ft off the half court line and won the Sportsmanship award for the 3rd year in a row!!). Baseball has started and is in full swing with four days a week designated to the fields; my biggest complaint is that baseball pants should be black not white to not show the stains from sliding into base so I don't have to spend hours scrubbing them clean!

Cambrie is at a standstill right now in regards to an activity as we haven't decided on what type of dance or swimming or such that she wants to focus on, or what we can fit into the schedule. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. Meanwhile she is burning off her energy with Mom in the afternoon by taking walks or rebounding on mini-trampoline. She is a big Miley/Hannah fan as you can see by her shirt, but had to be satisfied with going to the 3-D movie and not the concert, Mom just wasn't that lucky in getting her tickets...
Brian and Tony are doing well, both of busy in their own lives. We actually see Tony more than Brian, mostly as he lives and works closer to us. I tease Tony that if he didn't need clean clothes once in a while I probably wouldn't see him at all! I knew that that big wash basin in our machine would come in handy for something... Seriously, I wish that they didn't have to grow up and were still young and living here at home with us. We miss them.
Rick and I are keeping busy with the kids, animals, work and helping to take care of his Mom since his Dad passed away in December. On one hand it seems as if it was just yesterday that we were talking with Dad and yet on the other hand it seems like it has been forever since he was admitted to the hospital and we started settling his estate and getting Mom situated with her accounts, which has been a full time commitment on Ricks part.
I'll stop back by later and post up to date pictures. Take care.
