What a Pair!

Hello everybody!
Simona's here with a new LO: What a Pair!

Urban Lily supplies:

Linen Dots by Urban Lily - Everyday Lily Collection
Linen by Urban Lily - Everyday Lily Collection
Linen Stripe by Urban Lily - Everyday Lily Collection
Alphabet by Urban Lily - Urban Cut Collection

Here are some close-ups:

And with the scraps of the same papers, I did a quick card, using kraft cardstock as background.

In my page, as well as in the card, I pleated a stripe of paper, and glued it using the fab 450 Quick Dry Adhesive by Helmar.
Till next time :-).

1975 Memories by Simona

Happy Tuesday everybody!!!
I show you the last page I did, using the fab Urban Lily papers.
The pic shows me at about 5 months with my grandma Maria :-).
I guess that the Urban Lily Everyday Collection is just perfect to add a vintage touch at your pages.

Urban Lily supplies:

Sushi paper (Everyday Lily collection);

Sushi Stripe paper (Everyday Lily collection);

Sushi Dot paper (Everyday Lily collection);

Others:

American Crafts alpha;

Sweet Pea Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels;

Craft & Hobby PVA Glue by Helmar.

I found this cute flower in a craft supplies store: love its colors and the pearls!

I also added an old book's distressed page and a lot of Glimmer Mist :-).

Do you like it? Hope so ;-).

The second project is a quick card.
I used the leftovers from Sushi paper by Urban Lily and cardstocks:

I stamped and embossed the quote on white cardstock:

That's all for today, 'till next time!
Have a nice day!

Happy Moments and a Valentines Card

Hi everybody, Simona blogging ;-).
It's my turn to show you another LO I did using the amazing Urban Lily papers.
Here in Italy it's so cold... brrrr... I needed to scrap some summer pics ;-):

Urban Lily supplies:
Massimo - Blink Collection paper (I love it! Great design on a heavy paper... you don't need to use cardstock);
Blanks ATC cards;
Polka Dot Photo Cards;
Mini Book Bright - Urban Cut Collection (its pages are great as journaling spots too);
Alphabet - Urban Cut Collection.
Others:
Prima Marketing flowers.

I love the bold colors of the papers!
I glued half pearls to the flowers using Gemstone Glue by Helmar.

With the help of a template, I punched the swirls and then handstitched them.

And now I show you a cute little Valentines card I did using the gorgeous Urban Lily products.

Urban Lily supplies:
Secret Keeper windows;
Lulu - Lulliloo Collection paper.
Others:
Tim Holtz grungeboard key;
Making Memories and Toga alphas;
pink cardstock and rick rack.

I love the Urban Lily Secret Keepers windows! They are chipboard shapes with an open/close flap... just perfect for hidden journaling.
I covered the heart shaped chipboard with Urban Lily Lulu paper... the same that I used to cover the inside:

and here is my hidden message:

Thanks for letting me share, have a nice day :-).

Hi everyone, Simona here!

First of all... I wish you a 2010 full of happiness and creativity :-)!
I'm so thrilled to be part of this fab DT... let me show you some quick and easy projects using a gorgeous Urban Lily paper :-).

Urban Lily Supplies:
Linen paper (Everyday Lily Collection)
Others:
DCVW cardstock. American Crafs, Pink Paislee and Toga alphas.
I splashed liquid gesso on the cardstock using a brush.
I handcut the flowers and the circles from the beautiful Urban Lily Linen paper.
I added a stitched frame using white yarn (I love to add stitched details to my projects ;-)).
I glued some gems to the paper circles using Gemstone Glue by Helmar (...man, it's so strong, love it!).
That's all... easy, isn't it?
From the same paper I cut out another beautiful flower and made a card:
I just sprayed Juniper Glimmer Mist on a piece of white cardstock, added the Urban Lily flower and all the rest (AC glittered alpha and Prima flowers):

Hope you like it :-).
'till next time, TFL!
