NOCC knock wake up

On September 12, we woke up earlier to help Mary with the Pittsburgh Chapter's 10th Annual Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer. Sam and Mary left at 5:30 in the morning. Elaine and Charles a little later. We helped set up. I was feeling sick so after I helped set up, I went to the car to sleep. Sam joined me there. Elaine assisted in some of the tents. They had a line dance. And, Mary gave a nice welcome to all who came. Then I woke up and left the car. The walkers took off. Some on a one-mile hike and some on a five-mile hike. For a period of time, it was calm again in the parking lot. That is when I took this picture of Mary sitting on the edge of the stage.

Mary's boss's boss or how many, anyway, the CEO came and he thanked us all. The weather was as it should have been. A little misty at first in the morning when we set up, to show tears for those we lost, then it stopped; then cloudy; then at the end of the event, we saw a peep of sunshine.
