Ramadhaan Activities 11 - 2011 - Taraaweeh/Qiyaamul Lail

Today we discussed about Taraaweeh/ Qiyaamul Lail. I explained to her that this a special prayer prayed in the month of Ramadhaan in Jama'h. We spoke about the number of rakah prayed and how the messenger of Allaah and the sahaabah used to make it very long and sometimes prayed this prayer the whole night, with long rukoo, and sajdah glorifying Allaah and asking His Mercy and Forgiveness.

Then she coloured this worksheet form TJ.

For the journal entry I asked her to make small prayer rugs and paste and then write whatever she wants about Taraweeh/Qiyaamul Lail. And this is what she did!

I usually prefer to pray Taraaweeh at home as I enjoy praying long rakah at my own pace, Alhamdulillaah
( also Shaikh Ubaid Al Jaabiree may Allaah preserve him, said that the best place for the owman to pray Taraweeh is in her house, masha Allaah. I have heard so many sisters feeling so sad because they cannot go to the masjid due to kids and family responsibilities. so cheer up and pray at home and you will be rewarded abundantly  subhanallaah). But just to make maimoonah accustomed with the prayer in Jamah we took her to the masjid for Taraaweeh. She really enjoyed masha Allaah!

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Ahlan wa Sahlan!

Innal hamdulillaah! All praise is indeed due to Allaah. We praise him and we seek his assistance, and we seek refuge with him from the evils of our souls and actions. Whosoever Allaah guides then none can misguide him, whomsoever Allaah misguides then none can guide him. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah having no partners and I also bear witness that Muhammad sallaahualihiwasallam is Allaah's slave and Messenger.

To proceed,

Insha Allaah this is a blog to record my beloved daughter Maimoonah's home schooling progress. At the time of starting this blog she is Two years and 7 months old Masha Allaah. I hope this will be a record for me as well as for her one day bi idhnillaah to look back with wonderful memories of her learning journey which was undertaken to please Allaah alone Insha Allaah!
