Just Stuff

I know everyone has said it but my god it's so FREAKIN HOT! Ugh, I can't take it anymore. It makes me feel so yucky. I'm sure my period hasn't helped.

My classroom is s-l-o-w-l-y coming along. I had a lot to clean up in there before I could really start unpacking my stuff. There is a storage closet in my room. It used to be the counselors but now it's special eds. I had lots of special ed stuff to organize. I will post a before and after photo soon. The before photo is not really a "true" before photo. It's more like a "photo taken after working in my classroom for 3 days". It will be next week before the after photo will be taken...stay tuned.

Okay, so I have been busy all week and I have been having major urges to scrapbook. I think I am going to have to do a page tonight before I go to bed - even though it's 11:35 and I am tired.

I have a busy weekend coming up. Friday night my friends and I are going out to dinner and bowling for my birthday. Saturday Natalie is taking me out to lunch for my birthday. I have Sarah's 5th birthday party Saturday afternoon. Saturday night I am doing something with Supin. Sunday I am going to Tyler's 1st birthday party and then to Julie's pool for the afternoon.

I am going nowhere.

Just thought I would let ya'll know that we have lots of freezing rain in Atlanta today. I was suppose to have graduation today but I decided I would rather go up to Julie's for a big scrapbooking day. One of my other friends is having an engagement party tonight. I am not going to that either. Actually, I'm not sure if she is still having the party. So, basically I am going nowhere today, tonight, or tomorrow morning.

The Santaland Diaries

Justin and I went to the Horizon Theatre last night to see The Santaland Diaries written by David Sedaris (one of my favorite authors). The play was great and so was the cast. Harold Leaver played the lead as "Crumpet". Justin and I both thought that Harold looked like a forty-something David Spade. It's crazy how much they look alike! The theatre was small but nice. I found out about the play from Mary at All Kinds of Everything.

I finished wrapping Christmas presents tonight. Soon it will be time to write "thank yous". I hope to get some scrapbooking done over winter break. I have been busy visiting with friends, shopping, and cleaning that I have not had time to sit down and scrap. I have a few unfinished pages that just need the journaling part. That is my least favorite part of scrapbooking. Why? I don't know. It's not like I don't know who is in the pictures or what the event was.

We had snow flurries on Monday! Tonight it's just cold and rainy. I think I will go make some tea, snuggle in my flannel sheets and read a book...

Winter Break Begins

It was sooo nice to sleep in this morning. The dog got me up at 3 to pee and then he wanted to play and cuddle. All I wanted to do was go back to sleep. I need to go to Publix, the mall, the nail place, and the mail store (I don't do post offices, esp. around Christmas) but I just checked the weather and it's 18 degrees with a wind chill of 7 friggin' degrees! I might just stay home and do some laundry and scrapbook until it warms up a little!
