We're kinda wondering if AnyPup remembers us
It's been Months
and
So Much has happened.
We think about our BloggingFriends all the time
and
We miss you
Lots
But OurMoma has (obviously) taken a HugeBreak
and
We haven't had much Influence.
Ya see ...
OurMoma doesn't like to help us blog about RuffStuff
and
Honestly
Life's been sorta Ruff recently
It's not all Bad
In fact, some of it has led to some ReallyGoodStuff
but
It's been quite a Journey
and
OurMoma sorta hates sugar-coating things.
So
She's
Been
Pretty Silent
but
We've been doing a GreatJob
Supporting her
and
Keeping up her Spirits
(and she loves us even more 'cause we're so good ... she tells us all the time)
Here's the ShortStory
We left off way back in June 2012
When MissMissy (the BestPupSitterInTheWorld) came and stayed with us
While OurMoma and OurGirl we visiting family in Florida.
That was GreatFun
and
All was Good
Then
In July Gramma and Auntie Judith drove to Colorado to visit us
On the first day here, Gramma fell
Gramma broke her hip
Gramma went to the hospital
Gramma sorta kinda had a lot of OldAgeStuff come up
Fast and Furiously
As a result of HerFall
(If ya know what we mean)
OurMoma and AuntieJudith quickly realized that Gramma needed Family
ReallyClose and ReadilyAvailable
From Now On
and
Family needed EachOther
So
BigDecisions were made
and
Gramma and AuntieJudith made Plans to move to Colorado
Then and There
It all sounds really Simple
but
It's been Far Far from that
(Whooboy!)
Gramma needed a NewHome (assisted living) Immediately
Plans had to be made to relocate AuntieJudith to Colorado
Two houses had (have) to be sold
Stuff had (has) to be packed up
and
Stuff has to be moved
Lots of It
(Including all our DogToys and DogTreats that were left in Florida)
In the meantime OurMoma made a QuickRoadTrip to back to Florida
(in July 2012)
to move some of Gramma's Favorite and ImportantStuff to her NewHome
AuntieJudith stayed with us and helped take care of Gramma
In October AuntieJudith returned to Florida
to get the Work started and done there
In November Gramma got pretty sick
She fell again
She went back to the Hospital again
Thanksgiving wasn't so much Fun
but
Things started getting better around Christmas
and
Things are getting better still
(OurMoma had to cancel OurTrip back to Florida
We had hoped to spend January and February at the Beach
But Nope
Not this year)
Mostly OurMoma is learning a lot about the IckyThings OldAge can bring
but
The more she learns
The better she gets at dealing with it
and
Everybody is Happier
(Most of the Time)
So
There
Not the MostExcitingBlogPost
but
At least we got OurMoma committed enough to help us write Something
'Cause
Bottom Line
We don't want to lose our Friends
We are convinced there is going to be a Time
When we can devote more time to OurBlog
and
Share HappyNews
'Cause
We really do miss it
And we really do miss you
(Besides ... we've told OurMoma it's "Therapeutic"
We're learning, too!)
