Corey's Birthday and Easter

Ok so I am an idiot and published the super cross post before this one, so please scroll down and read it too, we had so much fun. This year since Corey's birthday was so close to Easter we celebrated botha at the sametime. We spent Saturday with my family.

Corey had some helpers to open his presants.

My sister, Abbie, made Corey a John Deere cake. Camie, my other sister made the dog out of rice krispy treats.

 He had help blowing out the candles too.

 

We had an Easter Egg Hunt.

On Sunday we went to Corey's parents house, had a yummy dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. Dax of course went to the sand box first.

We had a small presant opening event, Corey had already got his big presant, a string trimmer. The rest were gift cards. Boring but that is what he wanted.

Helping Dad

When it snowed last, Corey went out to snow blow and latey Dax wants to do everything with Daddy so he made me go get his lawn mower so he could "help" dad.

He got in the way, but had tons of fun.

On Saturday, May 1st we went to the Supercross. It was alot of fun except the weather was horrible. We went through the pits and Dax loved it. He slept during the first part of the races and then the weather got really bad and he got mad cause he did not want to wear his poncho. So the last part he and I spent in the tunnel. It's ok I watched the Main event on TV the nxt day and there is always next year to see it in person.

Happy Birthday Corey!

We celebrated my wonderful husbands birthday this weekend, it was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came.

Here he is showing me the card my parents got him, he thought it was pretty funny. It said they were going to get him some clothes but they remembered who he was married to, so he probably didn't have any closet space. He had plenty of helpers in the gift opening catagory.

A couple of saturdays ago, Corey went to the airforce museum with his dad and brother and he of course took Dax cause that is cool "guy stuff" to do. Here are a few of the pictures:

Ok so Christmas of 2006 I was feeling a little more ambitious than I should have and under took making Corey a quilt for Christmas, well I did not get it done, but promised I would finish it. So now three years later much to Corey's surprise (he thought I would never do it) it is done. Not even close to perfect but it does the job and I hope Corey likes it.

Corey went to the supercross on Saturday, April 25th with our families. He had a lot of fun, I was disappointed that I couldn't go, hopefully it will come back next year cause Dax will be old enough to see all the bikes.
