Does it look Japanese to you ?

היום היה לי רעיון למניקור מיוחד והתחשק לי משהו בסגנון יפני....

לצבע האדום בחרתי ב – Geranium של Essie – אדום קורלי מקסים במרקם קרמי. המריחה שלו היתה מעולה, הוא קצת נוזלי אבל נמרח מעולה וזה מה שגרם לי להתאהב בו מיידית. בשכבה ראשונה הוא לא אטום לגמרי ולי נדרשו 3 שכבות כדי להגיע לאטימות מוחלטת, למרות שהוא נראה מצויין גם עם שתי שכבות.

לצבע הלבן בחרתי בלבן מס' 37 של "זית" – אני מאוד אוהבת להשתמש בלק הזה כשאני מחפשת לבן טיפקס. יש לו גימור ממש יפה – ממש כמו של טיפקס J בעיקרון הוא אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה אבל הוא לא היה נראה לי אחיד אז שמתי עוד שכבה ואחרי שתי שכבות הוא היה אטום לחלוטין.

מעליהם עשיתי החתמה בלק שחור של קונאד עם דוגמא מפלטה B61 של וואו. בעיקרון חיפשתי דוגמא של ענף דובדבן, וזאת היתה הכי קרובה שמצאתי, למרות שהיא יותר מזכירה לי גפן...חחחח

אחרי ההחתמה הוספתי את הנקודות בעזרת המנקד.

בגדול אני די מרוצה מהמניקור הזה והוא נראה די מגניב על היד, והדבר היחיד הוא שחשבתי שהיה יכול להיות יותר יפה אם היה יותר ניגוד בין האדום לשחור.

מה דעתכן ?

Essie - Geranium + Olive - No. 37

+ Konad special black polish + "WOW" plate B61

Today I had an idea for a special manicure and I was thinking about Japanese style……

For the red color, I chose Essie Geranium – a charming coral red in a crème texture. Its application was perfect, it's a bit runny but it applied perfect and that's what made me fell in love with it immediately. It's not totally opaque in the first coat and I needed 3 coats to get an opaque look, although it looks very good also in 2 coats.

For the white color, I chose Olive white, No. 37 – I really love to use this polish when I'm looking for the white out look J basically it's opaque already after one coat, but it didn't look equal to me so I applied another coat and then I got a totally opaque look.

Above these two, I did some stamping using Konad special black polish with image from "Wow" plate B61.Basically I looked for a cherry branch image and this one was the closest I found, although it reminds me more of a grapevine….lol

After stamping, I added the dots using my dotter.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with this mani and it looks pretty cool on my hands, the only things I was thinking of, is that it could have been prettier if there was more contrast between the red and the black.

Socks and presents for Christmas

בתקופה האחרונה ראיתי כל כך הרבה עיצובים מקסימים של ציפורניים לכבוד הכריסמס שממש התחשק לי לנסות אחד בעצמי.

נכון שתמיד בסרטים רואים את גרבי הכריסמס המקסימות שתלויות מעל האח ומחכות שימלאו אותן במתנות ? אז גם אני רציתי כאלה ...חחחח.....וזאת היתה ההשראה שלי לעיצוב היום J

לבסיס השתמשתי בלק מס' 54 של זית – תקשיבו, זאת היתה הפתעה טוטאלית בשבילי !!! קניתי אותו, יחד עם עוד כמה לקים שלהם, לפני כמה חודשים ואני חושבת שזאת הפעם הראשונה שהזדמן לי לנסות אותם. הצבע שלו הוא אדום קורלי עשיר והמריחה שלו היתה פשוט הפתעה בשבילי – כמו חמאה ! מריחה פשוט מושלמת, המרקם חמאה הזה הזכיר לי כמה לקים של מיסה שיצא לי לנסות והנה הקטע שאני יודעת שהרבה מכן יאהבו – הוא אטום כבר אחרי שכבה אחת ! פשוט מושלם ! הגימור שלו מבריק וזמן הייבוש שלו די מהיר והוא נראה פשוט מצויין !

לפרנץ' הלבן השתמשתי בלק לבן מס' 37, גם של זית – לבן טיפקס, אטום לגמרי ומצויין לפרנץ.

מעליו השתמשתי באבקת נצנצים לבנה, כדי להשיג מראה "פרוותי" יותר.

אח"כ מרחתי פס דק של לק שקוף בחיבור שבין הלבן והאדום ופיזרתי גם עליו מאבקת הנצנצים.

אז מה אתן אומרות על גרבי הכריסמס שלי ?

My Christmas Socks

In the last days I saw so many wonderful nail art designs for Christmas that I really felt like doing one myself.

You always see on movies these charming Christmas socks hanging above the fireplace waiting to be filled with presents and I always wanted one of those too….lol….so that was my inspiration for today's design.

For the base I used Olive polish (a brand we have here) no. 54 and it was a total surprise for me !!! I bought it, with some more Olive polishes, a couple of months ago, and I think it is the first tie I had the chance to try them. This is a rich coral red and its application was absolutely a surprise to me – like butter ! simply perfect formula. It reminds me some of Misa polishes that have kind of a "butter" formula like this…..and here is the part I know many of you would love to hear – it's opaque after only one coat ! Just perfect ! It has a bright finish and it dries pretty fast and it looks amazing !

To the French tips I used Olive no. 37 – an opaque white which is perfect for French mani. I laid some white glitter dust on it, in order to make it look more like fur.

Then I applied a thin line with a clear polish between the red part and the white and I put on it some more glitter dust.

So, what do you say about my Christmas socks ?

A short vacation and Birthday nails :-)

אתן בטח שואלות את עצמכן למה היה פה יבש השבוע, ובכן.......זה בגלל שבעלי היקר החליט לעשות לי הפתעה ולקחת אותי לצימר ביום ההולדת שלי ! איזה כיף !!!

אז ביום ראשון הוא הגיע בהפתעה ואמר לי לקחת צ'יק צ'ק מה שאני צריכה ושאנחנו יוצאים לדרך...לאן הוא לא הסכים להגיד....אז צ'יק צ'ק ארזתי כמה בגדים, ודברי רחצה....וקצת איפור...וחומרים לעדשות ומשקפי שמש....ודוקים שקיבלתי באותו שבוע, אם יהיה משעמם ונרצה לשחק (חחחח)....ואדוויל ליתר ביטחון....ומצלמה....וקופסה עם שאריות מארוחת שבועות למקרה שנהיה רעבים..חחחחחח

טוב, טוב, אני מודה, אולי זה לא היה ממש צ'יק צ'ק, אבל בחיי שהזדרזתי !

אני אריץ קדימה את הקטע של הנסיעה ואגיע ישר לקטע של "הגענו לצימר" – היה מדהים ברמות ! הצימר היה מקושט במלא ברכות וקישוטים לכבוד יום ההולדת, מריח נהדר ומלא בהפתעות ובפינוקים מכל הסוגים ומכל טוב !!
בילינו שם 3 ימים מדהימים וכדי שלא תחשבו שלא חשבתי עליכן, צילמתי לכן כמה תמונות (וכמה טוב שלקחתי מצלמה, נכון ? חחחח) ודרך אגב, למי שתוהה – הצימר נקרא "פיסת בר" והוא נמצא בשומרה – אני ממליצה בחום:

Sorry for disappearing this week, and if you asked yourself why it was so boring here and why I didn't leave comments on your blogs, it was because I was kidnapped !

Lol……

Well, not exactly kidnapped, but he did decide to do a surprise for me, and he came on by surprise on Sunday and told me to hurry up, pack some things and that we're going to vacation to the north !

So I packed some clothes, and bath stuff….and some makeup…and my contact lenses and sun glasses….and a game to play if we'll get bored…and Advil just in case…and camera….and a box with some leftovers we had from the family dinner we had two days before…..lol….
Well, I admit it wasn't so quick, but I swear I tried….lol……

I'll fast forward the driving part, and skip to the part we got to the place….I don't really sure how to explain this to you, but we have here vacation cabins, called "Zimmer" (but not exactly like the European Zimmers), especially in the north which is very green, and it's kind of a very fancy wood cabin with lots of goodies inside and privacy….

we got there and the cabin was full with birthday cards that they wrote me for my birthday, wonderful smell and lots of snacks, goodies and surprises !
We had a whole lot of fun and I took some pictures to share with you(hhaa….how good that I took the camera….lol)

וזה הלק שאיתו הסתובבתי בימים האלה – לק מס' 321 של "זית" – ורוד זועק, שאפשר להגדיר אותו כסוג של ניאון, לדעתי. הרגשתי ממש אמיצה כשלבשתי אותו :-) המריחה לא היתה משהו מי יודע מה, הלק היה דביק משהו, אבל מילא.....
הוספתי עליו לבבות קונאד לבנים, כי החלטתי שמגיע לי קצת לבבות לכבוד היום הולדת, והתוצאה לפניכן :

Olive - No. 321

And this is the polish that I was wearing during the vacation –"Olive" No. 321 – this is a very loud pink, I can even say neon, I think….I felt very brave wearing it…lol…the application wasn't the greatest…it was a bit sticky, but well…..it's o.k….
I added some white Konad hearts for my birthday, and this was the result:

וזה הלק ששמתי למסיבה אתמול, אחרי שהוא היה זה שקיבל את רוב הקולות במישאל שערכתי כאן – China Glaze – Ruby Pumps !

איזה לק מעולה בחרתן לי ! אדום מטריף, די כהה, עם מלאאאאאאאאא נצנצים אדומים נוצצים בתוכו ! קיבלתי עליו המון מחמאות והיה ממש קשה להפסיק להסתכל על הציפורניים שלי כשהוא היה עליי :-)

המריחה שלו היתה בסדר גמור, טיפה נוזלית אבל בסדר, שכבה אחת לא מספיקה בכלל ועם שתיים כבר אפשר להסתדר. אני הלכתי על שלוש שכבות......

מה שאהבתי בלק הזה במיוחד, זה שהנצנצים שלו מאוד בולטים, בכל אור, ובמיוחד באור רגיל של חדר, והוא לא מאלה שרק בשמש רואים את הנצנצים שלו. אפילו נראה לי שאפשר להגיד, שבאור רגיל רואים יותר את הנצנצים מאשר באור שמש חזק.....

לחובבות האדומים – הלק הזה מומלץ בחום. הוא פשוט מדהים בעיניי !!

לפני התמונה, אני חייבת לציין שבמציאות הלק הזה נראה יותר כהה ועם הרבה יותר עומק, אבל המצלמה שלי פשוט סירבה לקלוט את זה :-(, אז קחו את זה בחשבון:

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps

And this is the polish I wear yesterday at my party, after it was been chosen in the poll I had here – China Glaze – Ruby Pumps! What a stunning color!!

A beautiful red, pretty dark red, with looooooooooooots of gorgeous red sparkles in it! I got lots of compliment on this one and it was very hard for me to stop looking at my nails….lol…

The application was fine, a bit runny, but really fine, one coat is not enough here and you can handle with 2 coats. I applied 3 coats…..

What I loved in this polish is that you can clearly see its sparkles also in a regular light, and you don't need a strong sunlight to see those amazing sparkles. Infect, I think it's maybe even easier to see the sparkles in a regular light….

I have to say, that it looks darker in real life and has much more depth than you can see in the pictures, but my camera just refused to catch it :-(

My Birthday hauls !!!

היום בחצות אני משנה קידומת ל.....30

עוד לא החלטתי מה אני מרגישה לגבי זה...אבל מה שכן החלטתי, זה להוסיף כמה לקים חדשים לאוסף...חחחח

זה התחיל בהזמנה אחת, הפך צ'יק צ'ק לשתי הזמנות, ואז נוספו גם עוד לקים מקניות בארץ.......חחח....טוב, נו...יומולדת או לא ?

ובנוסף, מכיוון שלא הצלחתי להחליט איזה לק לשים במסיבת יום ההולדת שלי שתהיה ביום חמישי (איך אפשר לבחור מבין כל החדשים האלה ?? ) החלטתי לתת לכן לבחור בשבילי :-) שמתי משאל בצד ימין וביום רביעי הוא ייסגר והלק שייבחר, יהיה הלק שיככב במסיבה שלי !

Hi There !

Today at midnight, I'm turning…….30

I haven't decided yet what I think about this……but what I HAVE decided, is to add some new polishes to my collection….lol

So it started in one order, quickly turned to 2 orders, and then I bought another polishes here when I was visiting some stores….lol…..well, it's my birthday or not ?

In addition to that, I am having a birthday party on Thursday and I just can't decide what polish to wear (how can you choose one from all of that ?? ), so I've decided that I'll let you decide for me :-) I added a poll in the right side and it will be open until Wednesday, and the one you'll choose for me, would be the polish I'll be wearing at my party !

So here they are, my birthday colors (I noticed that I forgot to take a picture of the three JA-DE polishes I bought, so I owe you one :-) )
