Stick It Down - January 2022 Single Page Sketch Reveal - Beautiful Dancer

Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day for me @  Stick It Down

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using another sketch by Laura Rumble.

I chose to scrap these two pictures of my Granddaughter Everly taken during one of her Holiday Performances this year. As a grandmother, you hate missing these types of things, but luckily, they understand when you can't be there (sadly we live a couple of states away). Thank goodness my daughter shares in the "need" to photograph things . . . The sketch was a tough one for me this month, and I have to admit that the layout you see now WAS NOT the way I was originally going with it. I just couldn't make it work for me. . . once I found this cut file though, it all came together really, really quickly.

Let's Get Sketchy - April 2021 Reveal - Play Doh Love

Good Morning Fellow Scrappers!

Today is reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!!

As followers of my blog, you already know that  I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so the fun for me is taking the sketch and altering it a bit to make it fit my needs, while staying true to the original sketch . . . As you can see, this month I mirrored the sketch to once again fit my needs. . .it gave me a bit more room for my title, and allowed me to use the pictures that I had chosen for the layout.

This layout is of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire playing with Play Doh, one of her newer obsessions since she's discovered the tools that go along with it - thanks to her pre-school for introducing her to the "tools" as her play doh game has now reached a whole new level.

Journaling  -
Everly was super excited to get the tools to go along with her play doh. They have scissors just like this at pre-school, and now she can make the same cool things at home.  January 31st, 2021 Newport News, Virginia

Sketch N Scrap - January 15th, 2021 Sketch #217 by Heather Hall / Remember

Good morning Everyone. . .

It's time for the January 15th Sketch Reveal @ Sketch N Scrap
and my take on it! It's a super fun sketch with lots of squares and pop dots . . .

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #217 by the very talented
Heather Hall at Sketch N Scrap

First off, I absolutely love this sketch, and will definitely be using it again. My 8-1/2 x 11 layout of Everly is of pictures taken while she was visiting Pennsylvania in June of 2019 right before she became a big sister that July. We were at Reptiland feeding the birds at Parakeet Landing. When she came for a visit the past Summer she requested that we go back as she remembered going to feed those same birds & seeing the dinosaurs the previous year. Crazy how much they remember at such an early age. . .Thanks for stopping by.

Sketch N Scrap - January 1st 2021 Sketch #216 by Stacey Daubenberger / No Probllama

 Happy New Year Everyone! -

What better way to start off the new year than with a sketch reveal . . . the January 1st sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap to be exact.

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #216 by the very talented Stacy Daubenberger  at Sketch N Scrap

I created this 8-1/2 x 11 layout of my beautiful granddaughter Everly Claire who just recently figured out how to use the pedals on the tricycle. She received the hand me down tricycle for her 1st birthday, and just a week after her 4th birthday she figured out how to ride it. . . .there's an inside joke between her mom and I about how it only took 3 years - lol.
I think the tricycle has met its match now, and Everly has no problem riding it, hence the "punny" title - No Probllama. Thanks for looking.
