Day 1 of Clear Dollar Stamp's SNEAK PEEKS! 2 Cards to share!

Hello All!
Today I get to show you cards made with a couple of different "Clear Diollar Stamps" stamp sets.
The first one uses the pretty "Silhouette Thoughts" illustrated by the very talented Laurie Wilson. This set come with silhouettes of several images plus the "I thought of You Today" sentiment. It would work great for many occasions!
On this card, I used gorgeous "The Paper Temptress" papers which adds richness and elegance in my opinion! The names of the papers are:
Stardreams Antique Gold
Neenah Black
Crystal Stardreams
Metallic Gold

In this shot, you can see the beautiful sparkle on the white paper really well.
Don't forget...you can click any picture to enlarge.

Get ready for a month of fun with Cuttlebug Challenge Birthday Palooza!!!

Hi Everyone,
Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is turning 1 in September! We would like to invite all of you to come celebrate with us!

We are teaming with "Ready Set Create" as our sponsor for the month of September. You could win a chance to have your Art published!

Tell all your friends! :)

All month long we will be having challenges, tutorials and tips to help you throw an awesome birthday party. Plus LOTS of PRIZES!

Follow along with us and you will have everything you need. Just pick your theme and come join the fun!
The first "Be Inspired" challenge is to create invitations. If you have already peeked at mine you will think that I am really confused. Not at all! I am able to mix it up because I have a friend that was born on Halloween! We always have a combined adult Halloween/ birthday party to make them feel special! Soooo my birthday party theme is HALLOWEEN! Bet none of the other DTs came up with that one LOL! If you want to use my samples to create something similar, you could drop the birthday part and just do a Halloween party theme.

Now, if you follow my blog you know I usually do highly detailed cards that take hours and hours each. I am not going to give you an invitation example that is unrealistic. I personally will need to make about 20 of these. My tip to you is to make pretty but simple invitations if you will be sending more then 5 or 6.
It was really hard for me to keep it simple but I think I did OK. I will have more time to concentrate on the other party elements and can go into greater detail with them.

On this cute little 4” card, I used Core'dinations "Black Magic" cardstock for the hand cut crow and the orange below it is also Core'dinations. They are one of our awesome sponsors! I ran it thru my Cuttlebug in a swirl embossing folder (my fave) and distressed it with sand paper. I popped it with foam tape, added a little stitching and some brads and viola'! Easy cheesy! If you don’t sew you can do it without and it will still be cute.

Don’t forget to enter my blog candy for a chance to win 5 Cuttlebug embossing folders!

You should really go check out all of the awesome DT samples the other girls have created. You will be inspired!

Be sure to comment on this post, at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, and all of the other Design Team members blogs for a chance to win a prize package from Sakura of America, another fabulous Cuttlebug Challenge sponsor!!!

Thanks and hugs your way!

CDS "What a Pane!" :)

Hello!
This is my final sneak peek this month for "Clear Dollar Stamps". Please remember to scroll down through all of the peeks I have listed in the last couple of days! This card was made with the cute set "What a Pane!". I did it similar to the door card I posted last week. It looks like you are in a room looking out. There is even "glass" in the window!
I used Bazzill and Core'dinations cardstock and a scrap piece of DP for the "wallpaper"...sorry not sure who makes it! :(

Remember, these stamps will all be available September 1st @ the beautiful new Clear Dollar Stamp store!
Please be a sweetie and leave me a comment. Don't forget to go check out the wonderful creations the other girls have made for you to "peek" @

CDS Sneak Peeks #5 and #6 "Hot Rods"

Hello again!
I am going to give you 2 peeks at once today...actually 3! They are "39 Coupe", "69 Camaro" and the sentiment set "Cool Ride". They will all be available on September 1st at "Clear Dollar Stamp's" awesome new store!

For the Coupe, I used Bazzill and core'dinations cardstocks and the DP is from K&Company's "Blue Awning" stack

When I was picking out the stamps I wanted to play with this month, the Camaro was a no brainer! This is my son Kurt with the "69" Camaro that he and his daddy restored for his first car. Isn't he handsome? ;) His birthday was this month so this was his birthday card. That worked out perfectly!

For the Camaro, I used Bazzill and core'dinations cardstock and the DP is from K&Company's "Happy Trails" stack.
Both cars have been popped from the page. I used metallic paint on the chrome parts, a white paint marker for the highlights and then glaze.

Make sure and scroll down a bit so you can check out the peeks I posted the last few days!

Check out the 2 bog candy giveaways I have going on right now too! Enter to win some guilt free sweets!

I also hope you will be sweet enough to leave a comment so I will know you were here! ;)

After you have done that...don't forget go check out all of the awesome sneak peeks that some of the other girls on our wonderful team have to share with you!
