This week was busy. On Friday we went to Pocatello so Lacey could work at the hospital. I know, most of you are wondering why in the world is Lacey still working in Pocatello. Well, she only works once in a blue moon, but it gives us a good excuse to go see my parents every now and then. With the cost of gas it makes it much more worthwhile when we can pay for the trip with no issues. Lacey makes about as much in a weekend shift as I make all week...pathetic!!! And I have a good job. Maybe we should let her go to work full time and I could be the stay at home mom/dad/housefrau. Just kidding Lacey, we tried that in college and I am the all time worst housefrau in history. Have you ever heard the song by Tim McGraw? Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I love the fact that Lacey has a degree and would be able to provide if anything ever happened to me. She is a fantastic nurse. She works in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit. She also works in Twin Falls on occasion. The best part is she only has to work when she chooses, so it's a pretty sweet gig.
Tyson wants me to tell you about him. He says he likes to help friends every day that he can. He likes to play with Colton and Ryan. He likes to play Star Wars Legos on the Nintendo Wii. He likes to sleep with his stuffed dog animal. He says he loves his mother and sometimes his dad too. (wow, I feel so special...sometimes) He also likes playing lightsabers with his friends.
We got to watch the BYU game this week with my family; man I do miss the whining and complaining while watching the game. It was fun, but we had to leave before the game was over. We were invited to a wilderness preservation meeting that was sponsored by one of my clients. It was quite the experience. I don't think I have ever felt so out of place as I did at this event. We took some friends of ours with us. We don't hunt or have any guns or anything, and everyone there was either an avid hunter or crazy about guns. Lacey won a carton of shotgun shells as a door prize...classic! Anyone need some ammo???
It was a good week. So, until next time....go Cougs!
