Orange You Glad It's Halloween

Thought today would be the perfect way to study the color orange.  It's so vibrant and bold that it exudes excitement and possibilities.  It just can't be ignored or passed by without a second glance.  From burnt orange to bright pop art orange this color takes on many references.  Used as a small pop of color or as bold as a coat or sofa this color screams happiness and vibrance.  I love it paired with blue or an aubergine or even just a great trench coat neutral.
Happy Halloween!

Christmas Wish List

1  |  2  |  3  |  4  |  5  |  6  |  7  |  8

I had so much fun sharing my Birthday wish list with you that I thought I would put together a Christmas wish list.

1.  I've always wanted the classic Burberry quilted coat.  It will never go out of style and in the Texas winter it's very practical.

2.  Pearls are my favorite maybe even over diamonds and I love this cluster pearl necklace.

3.  Ina Garten cookbook - I don't even have one of her books and spent an entire year watching almost every episode when I was pregnant with my first.  My good friend Amy is the best cook and she says you can't go wrong with Ina's recipes - she is right!

4.  This J.Crew polka dot shirt would look so great with the booties I have on my list and kelly green skinny jeans.

5.  LLBean totes for carrying everything (monogrammed of course).

6.  Read number four.

7.  These monogram earrings are so cute and come in different colors.

8.  Red transferware to mix with my wedding china and tartan for my Christmas table.

Birthday Wish List

It's that time of year again!
No, not Christmas...my Birthday.  Anyone in my family will tell you I make a list every year and everyone will tell you how annoying I am about my list(s).  I don't just make one, I tweak it and end up with several revisions.  Not something I'm proud of but it's true nonetheless.
So, I'm hoping my family will look at this blog post and take some hints on what to get me...or maybe I'll just dream away and share with you!

Because I always need a silver shoe

Essie Licorice

Because I love Black and this is pure black

Flexx Jet Set Bootie

Mrs. Meyers Iowa Pine Hand Soap

Because this will get me ready for Christmas

Because a BSF friend sends me scriptures from the NLT and I love this version now

Champion Jacket
Because this is perfect for wearing on those cool fall mornings

Sam Edelman Paradox Boot

Style in Stockholm

Linda Juhola loves fashion and shares her looks on her blog P.S. I love fashion.  I found her on pinterest and just can't get enough.  She offers beauty advice (which I'm always on the hunt for) and has excellent style.  I really like how she pairs Zara and H&M clothes with expensive accessories (i.e. Louis Vuitton).  Her look always comes across as classic and timeless - I simply love it!

Adorable

Louis Vuitton - enough said!

will always go for black and white

She even looks cute in workout clothes!

Sheridan French

Meet Sheridan French (if you haven't already).  She is the mind behind a beautiful line of women's wear, children's wear and fashion accessories and now a home accessory line.  She is a Fort Worth native and current resident so being raised in Fort Worth myself, I was so excited to put the spotlight on a hometown girl.  Sheridan French derives a lot of her design roots and style from her 5 years of living in Europe as well as a stint in London in Prada's Press Office.  She is a mom of 3, a fashion designer and blogger and a model.  Whew - wish I had that much energy!  Gorgeous, talented and creative...please let me introduce Sheridan French...

Love the coral-red and yellow with gold shoes

Adorable casual everyday wear

Ikat and white pants - love it!

This is a gorgeous dress and her makeup is beautiful

I didn't even notice she was pregnant in this picture at first.  Love the quilted leather jacket.

Color, Color, Color
