{Miscellaneous Fun} Copics, a Layout, and Class!

**Note, if you are looking for today's Faith Journaling post, please go to the post below this one or click here. Thank you!**

Today I wanted to share several things with you from Memory Box Co. and Scrapbook.com. First let's look at some Memory Box fun!

Memory Box
I wanted to share another 8x8 layout I created for Memory Box. I had fun creating the stamped corners on my cardstock using one of the newest stamps. To see how I created the corners, a list of products used, close-up photos, etc., please see my post here.

Next, I will be teaching a Memory Box Altered Printers Tray workshop in March. If any of you are in the area, I would love to have you join me! To see complete workshop details, please see this post here. Here is a photo of the tray we will be making:
Scrapbook.com
Many of you know that I became a Copic Certified Designer last year after attending a wonderful training class with Marianne Walker, Jenn Balcer, and Sharon Harnist. Well, Scrapbook.com is now carrying the complete Copic line, and I will be doing specialized Copic articles for them. I will share them here as they are published as I am hoping you find them helpful! The first two articles were published on 2/11/11 so I thought I would share them today. Click on the article title to read the full article.

Copic Markers--Choosing the Right Paper

Organizational {Friday} Keeping Track of Supplies Used

Do you want to keep track of the supplies you use on a creation? Have you thought about it? Have you ever noticed how I post my supply list underneath the creations I post here on my blog? I know people browsing in online galleries love to see supply lists too! And what about submitting your work to magazines or design teams? Sometimes they need a product list, and if you organize your work this way, it will be easy to provide this list to anyone that may need it! And if you are like me, you sometimes for get where you purchased that gorgeous ribbon or whatever the "embellishment" may be!

Today, I thought I would share with you my article on how to keep track of your supplies. I hope it is helpful to some of you. You can see the article here. And feel free to e-mail me if you decide when you are organizing that you would like to use my Excel spreadsheet. I would be happy to share my file. Have a blessed day!

Tuesday's {Tip} 6x6 Paper Pads

Do you like using 6x6 paper pads? Well, I must tell you, they are my FAVORITE. They are almost becoming an addiction. I rarely buy 12x12 paper anymore. I tend to use the 6x6 papers even if I scrap a page larger than 6x6! Yes, I know the patterns are smaller than on the original 12x12 pages, but that doesn't bother me at all. I just love them!

I recently wrote an article about 6x6 paper pads that you can read here. Now two things about the article. First, the picture of my 6x6 storage has changed a bit. I will share that on Friday in my Organizational {Friday} post this week. Second, when I wrote the article, Webster's Pages did not have 6x6 papers. Guess what, now they do! Oh the danger of it all!!! Scrapbook.com only has the Christmas 6x6 papers in stock but Ellen Hutson has all three new 6x6 paper packs by Webster's Pages in stock--Magical Wishes & a Sweet Life, Postcards from Paris & Sweet as Cherry Pie, and Home for the Holidays & Winter's Wings. Oh so yummy! I hope you will consider using 6x6 papers on everything you create! They are cheaper, you get an entire collection, and they are definitely easier to store! Enjoy, and remember, I will share my 6x6 storage on Friday! Have a great Tuesday!

One of my recent articles was about Tortillons, Blending Stumps, & Gamsol and using them with your colored pencils. I thought some of you might enjoy the tips in the article. Also, since writing this article I find I am using Baby Oil more than the Goo Gone; however, both work great!

I also found an online tutorial by Diane called Prismacolor Pencil Tutorial that you might enjoy too. I hope these are helpful to you, and if you enjoy coloring as much as I do, then this is right up your alley! Have a joyous Tuesday!

How do you keep track of your family's celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)? Do you have a way of keeping track? Are they organized? Well, this week some scrappers were asking about this, and one remembered an article I did about making a perpetual calendar. I thought this would be a great time to post this article again since these books make a great holiday gift! Here is the link: http://www.scrapjazz.com/topics/Themes/Time/1085.php. {2} New Scrappy Articles

How could I have known when I wrote this article that one of my daughter's would be in the ER for 7 hours this week? Then she has had to see the neurologist twice also. What a week but the Lord gets us through! And I can't imagine how I would have made it without the wonderful leadership at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) praying for us! What a wonderful group of women! I hope this article is inspiring to those of you going through a medical crisis, illness, surgery, etc. Scrapping these times can truly be helpful.

My other article that was published this week was a sketch article. A super huge thanks goes out to Shanna, Marci, Sarah, and Brandy for helping with the layouts for this article! Your layouts rock girls! Thank you so much! I hope you will give this sketch a try, and post a link back here with your layout! I know I would love to see what you do with the sketch! Happy scrapping everyone!

Saturday {Thoughts}

What a week it has been. Busy as usual with the stomach flu added to the mix. Fun, fun! I also had a great scrapping week. Three of my layouts were published by Cosmo Cricket on their website. I was so excited to come home to that e-mail. Then Ashley's "Why" layout was selected as layout of the day on Scrapjazz. Another great pick-me-up to a crazy week. And finally, my latest Scrapjazz article titled "Got Quirks? Let's Scrap Them!" was published yesterday. You can read it here:

http://www.scrapjazz.com/topics/Themes/About_Me/1224.php

I had a lot of fun doing that article. But since writing it, I have found many more quirks that I have. Hmm, not sure I can scrap them all. Some are quite weird as my family will tell you. Hopefully this next week will be a little more calm with a whole lot more scrapping time thrown in!
