Funnies

So my mom has told me about 100 times that I need to write down funny stuff Jada says or I won't remember when she gets older so here we go....

9/27/11- Jada has an obsession with Rapunzel these days.  She always wants to brush my hair.  When she does she asks me..."Mom, would you like to go outside?"  I say sure.  Then she says "No!  There is scary people, and a dangerous river, and cars will squash you like a bug!"  Too funny:)

7/20/11- The other day the entire family was driving down the road.  Travis and I were have a "discussion" when I told him that he wasn't earning any brownie points!  Just then Jada pipes up from the back seat "Mom...I want a brownie!"  We couldn't stop laughing.

6/28/11- Jada's new favorite saying is "I can't!"  Today we were driving home and I told Jada it was time to take a nap.  She said "I can't mom!"  I said why not Jada?  Then she replied "I can't want to!"  Well, you have to give her effort for trying.
 
4/1/11- Jada is constantly putting everything in time out. Yesterday she put her feet in time out.  "Time out feet!  Don't move!"

3/22/11- Here are a few of my fav snip-its from this last week:
"Church all done!" & "I need to go potty!"  Right in the middle of sacrament meeting. (FYI- there are hardly any children in our ward.  Jada is the only on in nursery)
"Jesus, time-out!"  I heard her say the other day playing- watch out.
"Thanks Mom, I wub (love) you."  Makes it all worth it some days.

3/17/11- So back to the poop situation cause I know you are all dying to hear about it!  Another long story short, Jada went down for her nap and after about an hour I hear "Mom!"  I go back to her bedroom and there she is picking poop of the floor and putting it in her little potty in her room.  She looks up at me real excited and says "Yay poo-poo in the potty!"  Seriously?  I know she is smarter then that...she obviously thinks I am not.  I guess the only comfort I have is knowing one day when I am old and crazy I am going to poop on her floor and see how she likes it!

3/16/11- To make a long story short, Jada has been having a difficult time going poop in the toilet.  Everyday when she goes down for her nap she poops and I get the joy of cleaning it up...Yay for being a mom!  Anyway, the other day she pooped again so I went in her room to clean her up.  As I was cleaning she said " Yay poo-poo!"  I said " No, we go poop in the toilet Jada."  She looked up at me real serious and said "No, yay, no yay."  She was so serious I had a hard time trying not to laugh.

Awhile ago- I was getting Jada ready for lunch and she said "McDonald?". I was thinking to myself ...That is sad that my not even 2 year old knows what McDonalds is and is requesting it for lunch. So I told Jada "No McDonald today." She looked up at me real sad and said "No duck? No goose?" Haha..she wanted me to sing Old McDonald.
