As I was driving this morning I was pondering and a lot of us go through our lives thinking “What if”…
What if I stay single forever?
What if I never have children?
What if I never have that house to call my own?
What if my prayers aren’t answered?
What if God keeps me at this job where I know I don’t want to be forever?
What if fear is a constant presence in my life?
What if I never take risks?
What if I’m always in debt?
What if I lose this relationship?
What if God is not listening to me?
What if I never lose these extra pounds?
What if nobody likes me? (No how many of us have thought this when we’re in an unfamiliar setting?)
What If I never fulfill my dreams?
What if God doesn’t heal me?
What if, What if, What if…
BUT, what if we simply just choose to trust him…… It's a simple concept but so hard for alot of us to put into practice.
Hmmmm…Now, there’s a what if for you…
Think about it, what’s your “what if” today???

I am the QUEEN of thinking what if!
But we have to learn to let it go and trust God sometimes!
But there is still that part of me that thinks "what if" everyday!
Oh friend... with my mind racing in fear about tomorrow getting on a plane... that is exactly what I needed to hear... TRUST HIM!!!!
I get these "what ifs" too all the time. We just gotta trust in Him, though it is easier said than done. HUGS!
girl! you know He is in charge!! don't let the devil do that to you! enjoy the moment!!
I agree. I get them a lot too.
Things will work out for the best of all of us if we just put God 1st!!!
xoxo
I sometimes wonder the same thing, but I have learned that God does take care of me and my family. When I get nervous about something I just stop and remember 'if he can bring you to it, he can bring you through it'!
Amen Sister! :-)
Ooooh, all of the above here! "What ifs" run rampant in my mind! Such a great post, Lauren!
Lauren, I read your post and I see myself in it. Believe me, I have been there with the "What Ifs". But it is all about faith. Funny, how this post is kind of similar to mine today :) Hang in there girl!
Found your blog through Kendra! Love your it! Those are questions I've asked myself alot! I know exactly what you mean...
But we HAVE to trust Him and learn to let Him take control.
So excited to have found your blog!
Praying for you!!!
