I'll be launching Fractured Thoughts Vol 1 at the Singapore Writers Festival this year on Nov 2, happening at The Arts House, Gallery II, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

The book launch slot is shared between Boon Lai (Mentalworks) launching his The Once-&-Marvellous DKD, followed by me, Ray Toh, Fractured Thoughts Vol 1.

For my talk on Fractured Thoughts Vol 1, I would be sharing my process and inspiration behind the creation of the comic collection. The talk will last for 20 - 25 mins, followed by a book signing session.

Do drop by if you are around the area. The book will be on sales at the location and bring your book if you have already bought it from the book stores. See you then. Cheers.

Fractured Thought Vol 1 is officially out and is distributed to all the Times Bookstore across Singapore. It is a collection of five short stories that I have done in the past. It is also my first official comic attempt, so do feel free to drop me any comment regarding the comic. It will be great to see how the audience and reader react to the stories.

Chrono Breaker: DINO GIRL. Another short comic I am working on for Panelgraph. This will be a side side project on top of my freelance works, rewards I need to fulfill with my crowdfunding effort and my own Fractured Thought Anthology that I am still working on. At the moment for, Chrono Breaker: DINO GIRL, I only manage to finish up the cover. The plan is to do 1 or 2 pages per month until the next Panelgraph submission. We'll see how things turn out. Enjoy!

A slightly more detail digital rough out for my 24 Hr Comic Day attempt. Too many things on hand at the moment so I'm taking things slowly and doing it a bit at a time.

Comic rough out done during the Singapore 24hr Comics Day event which just happen last weekend. I didn't finish my comic partly because I've been walking around and talking too much to different artists. Kind of catching up at the same time. Got to try to be more focus next time! Anyway since the story is rough out, I'll definitely try to finish it up when time permits.

Fractured Thoughts Vol 1 is a upcoming comic book I am working on. I have set up a crowd funding page for it over at Fantastic Fox. http://fantasticfox.org/browseproject/170 The project will run for 60 days with a targeted $1000 SGD funding goal.

Fractured Thoughts is a collection of five short stories by me and they are:

1) Detective D

2) A.S.T 08 ( Assault Strike Team 08) 

3) Gentleman of the forest 

4) Fellowship of the Golden Cockroach 

5) 风火雷电.降魔篇

Synopsis:

1) Detective D - A cyborg detective on a case to track down a murder.

2) A.S.T 08  - The police come across a group of robbers who seem to be augmented human. In the effort to bring them down, they send in Assault Strike Team 08. A special unit set up to deal with augmented human.

3) Gentleman of the forest - Set in the Victoria era with magic being widely use. A kid came to be blessed with a special power.

4) Fellowship of the Golden Cockroach - Roa. The heir of the golden cockroach set off on a journey to prove his worth for the throne.

5) 风火雷电.降魔篇 - Set in Ancient Cyber China, warriors and fighters took up a new role to protect the villages from demons.

All the pages have been block out and we are looking at 140 pagess ++. About 30% of the comic is done.
