That's right . . . the Simply Country Farm is getting about a dozen eggs a day. And we've had seven folks right here at Park Sierra sign up to be some of their first customers. So that part of their 4-H project is soon to begin!

Yumm... Nothing like good fresh eggs!! The picture makes me want to fix eggs and grits this morning :)
Lovely! How much does a dozen farm fresh eggs sell for over there?
Mmmm....now I'm hungry! And I'm green with envy...you've got a green egg-layer!
OMG! Now I totally have to go make eggs for breakfast!
Thanks for commenting on my blog! I had to do the same. :) and BTW, the Christmas cards are still here, all printed along with this years letter, but we keep getting sidetracked with all sorts of other things. Ah well, hopefully this week. :)
I have to say I love blogs! AND they help people stay in touch. Yeah!
Glad you are both well and a big holiday hugs for you both! If you happen to be in our neck of the woods, please feel free to stop by. We would love to see you and catch up! h
Oh and yeah, Martin is that little boy you met when you were there. He is 22 now and about 6 feet tall. He is still planning on visiting for a month this summer (june into july). Should be fun. Mom is going to road trip with him so look out for a crazy Czech behind the wheel out there. :) h
Hi Farmer Jen,
The kids are selling their eggs for only $2 a dozen! I think that's less than the going rate, but their mission is to learn the "business end" of raising chickens and only want to cover their costs at this time.
Wow oh Wow, I cannot believe you. Those eggs look great.
Laura
The soup was pumpkin at Thanksgiving.
OK, I'm ready for some of those fresh eggs...how do we get them? Should we save our egg crates? My mouth is watering....
