Update!

I'm a little emotional today for some reason. I heard something on t.v. refer to moms as the "world's most valuable resource" and I literally teared up a little. Awwww, shucks...Really? Ok. I guess I do see it. :)

Brody went to the doctor yesterday and I found out my eight-month-old still weighs only 15 pounds! He actually lost a little from the last visit, so I'm having to take him back in 2 weeks for a weigh in. And for every month until he is a year to make sure he is gaining enough. I have been feeding him every two hours. Here is how it goes: nurse, real food, juice or bottle, nurse, real food, juice or bottle, nurse, real food, juice or bottle...you get the picture. If he doesn't gain then we will have to run some tests so let's just hope he does!!

And now a little story to pass the time:

Last week I decided to be a true American and buy some girl scout cookies on my way out of Wal-Mart. It took me an extremely long time to decide which ones I would buy, and I decided on some caramel kind, Thin Mints, and Tagalongs. I put all three in a row inside my shopping cart and walked to the car. After buckling the kids in, I turned around to put the cookies in the front seat so I could open them on the way home, and I noticed my Tagalongs were missing. I checked by the carseats. I checked the trunk. I checked the ground. I checked my purse. They were nowhere to be found! My conclusion: someone actually walked by and snatched the Tagalongs out of my cart while I was busy putting my kids in the car. Why would they do that? I don't know. Especially with the Thin Mints right next to them. But at least they left my wallet and phone alone!!

And if the person who took them is somehow reading this: So. Not. Cool.

Also, I'm trying a not-new-but-new-to-me Love and Logic thing with Zack and so far it is working SO AWESOME!!!!!!! If it still is working in a week, I'll give some tricks and tips from the book. Yipeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

so in love with...

this little man. Even though he has bit me today. Twice. You can see his two little teeth in this picture. They might look harmless, but I assure you they pack quite a punch.

And Zack told me he wanted to go play with this little lady today. We had to say goodbye to them last week so it made me a little sad. Well, actually a lotta sad. But hopefully we will see them soon!

And did I mention Valentine's Day? I got Zack a balloon, some candy, and a funny looking frog. Brody got a funny looking bee and some bouncy balls. I just got Todd a card and candy because, let's face it, V-day is not about the boy. Todd got me some flowers and the first season of Glee to watch that night. I loved it.
I also curled my hair because we were going to go out to eat that night. (I mention curling my hair because I have enough hair for about 3.5 people, so it's a big deal.) Neither one of us realized it was going to be impossible to eat with out a reservation! Why have we never experienced this before?! Seriously, I hate Valentine's Day traffic. Instead we went to Chick-fil-a, which happened to be just as crazy. They had live music, a raffle, and at least a5 minute wait for a table. But, our screaming kids blended in perfectly and the food was good so I was happy.

Snow Day!...again...

The past week we have literally been snowed in! At first it was sort of fun, but now I'm going a little crazy. Seriously!! Isn't one of the good things about living in AR is it doesn't snow like crazy?

Here are some snow pictures!
