Daring Card Makers - Make Your Own Background

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Make Your Own Background

I've made a simple card using spray inks and die cutting a fancy sentiment die twice in silver card.  Sometimes its nice just to make something quick and easy!

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Thank You or Anything Goes

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a Thank You card with an inky background and to keep it clean and simple.  I've used one of the quotes from the Sentimentals 6x6 paper pack and used the Squarey Swirly Hearts dies and one of the Posydoodles Basics Square dies to cut the different layers.  I've used ink sprays to create the background and then added some half pearls underneath the sentiment and scored a border around the edge of the card.

Good luck with the challenge!

Polkadoodle Challenge - Under The Sea

It's time for a new Polkdoodles challenge and the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to use a blue and green background with a pop of colour so I've made my own background with green and blue ink sprays plus a little silver here and there.  Lil Miss Mermaid looks right at home!  Coloured with Promarkers plus added some tiny half pearls I found in my stash and the pop of colour is the pink paper ribbon and I've added a little starfish charm.

Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Inky Backgrounds

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Inky Backgrounds

I've used some spray inks and created the background then added die cut letters using some scraps of pearlescent cream card and then a star with half pearl to finish.  Really quick and simple but I do like the look of it!

Good luck with the challenge!

Simple Birthday

I've gone for something quite quick (well, if you take out the drying time) and simple to make using ink sprays (purple and blue) and then a silver spray that was gifted to me a long time ago.

I layered it onto black card before adding to my card blank.  To keep it as flat as I possibly could, I pop it under the cushion that I sit on at my crafting table (its a really hard chair) and that seems to do the trick!

I cut the Posydoodles Happy Birthday dies three times out of the silver card, glued them together (again under the cushion on my chair) and then added to the front of the card.

I'd like to enter the following:
