Tilda With Summer Pants

Hey guys!
Did you miss me?

I surely miss spending some time in my craft room and I miss all your sweet comments even more..
I know I haven't posted anything for like ages and I'm ashamed.. But I'm slowly putting all the pieces together and I'll be back on track very very soon.. Promise.. ;)
I've finally had the time to finish my notebook with Tilda With Summer Pants..
Remember my 'Tinchy Technique'? No?? Here's the link to the post..
I've seen a lot of crafters all around the globe trying this technique and I couldn't be prouder..
Thank you all so much!!!

You've probably seen the notebook on the Tilda's Town challenge Blog already..
Well.. Here are all the details..

The papers are from Maja Design.. I just love the Sofiero Collection..
The Viewmaster/Pinweel die is from Magnolia..
And so are some of the postmark stamps I used around..
The other postmarks are from Kort&Godt..

The lace and doily are from my stash..
The 'You Are Beautiful' stamp is from the Stempelglede Follow Your Heart set..

Here's a close up of the wonderful WOC and Kort&Godt flowers I used..
There's some cheesecloth under those too and I covered them with Gesso..

This fantastic charm is from my stash..
I've added a touch of Gesso on it and again some cheesecloth and a wonderful flower..
All the DP's edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool, inked with Walnut Stain and machine sewn..

This cutie is called Tilda With Summer Pants..
It's a stamp from the Pink Lemonade Collection 2014..
The image is stamped on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I use both the ink pads and reinkers for my colouring..
I used a regular ball pen to colour the eyes..
The small pearls around her are made with Liquid Pearls, the bigger ones are just regular self-adhesive half-pearls..

Well.. That's it guys..
Thanks for stopping by!!!
I really hope you enjoyed..

Midweek Magnolias and Creative Inspirations

Hi there!
I had some trouble with my computer but I'm finally able to show you a new creation..
Since I'm pretty busy these days (a lot of work unfortunately and little time to play) I've decided to combine two challenges..
The first one is my beloved Midweek Magnolias Challenge where the theme this fortnight is Flourishes..
And I've been invited to contribute as a Guest DT at Creative Inspirations..
(I'll be guest designing for 4 weeks yayyy...)
The challenge is Anything Goes + Option Of A Sketch..

I'm trying to colour all of my new stamps because they are just incredible..
Today I'm presenting you a gift bag with Sagittarius Tilda from the Zodiac Collection 2014..
The sentiment is also from Magnolia.. From the Raising The Ceiling & Right Through My Heart Collection 2010..

The papers are from Maja Design..
All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn..
I've used two Magnolia Doohickey's..
The first one is this My Love Heart die on the left..

The secon one is the Swirl die on the right..
I love them both..
There's also a small doily hidden under there..
I've added some pearls here and there and some Frantage around the image..

Another thing I love are all the gorgeous flowers I've used for this bag..
They are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I Am Roses..
They are all covered with some Gesso..
And there's even a cute little pin..

Take a look at this wonderful lace..
If you were looking for some amazing trims HERE's the link to an amazing place..
Suhafuha is the best!
Please let the owner know that I sent you when you place your order (cos' I know you will)..
The bark heart with some cheesecloth and that little flower on top is a gorgeous detail too, right?

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I use both the ink pads and the reinkers..
Colours used:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose
Cheeks: Tattered Rose
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress: Victorian Velvet, Pumice Stone, Black Soot
Bow: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Black Soot

Tilda's Town Challenge #94 - Use Your Stash

That's right! I have another post for you today..
This week we have a pretty easy challenge for you at Tilda's Town..
It's Use Your Stash..
This means you can make whatever you want and use whatever you have in your stash to make it.. Great, isn't it?

Since I'm a little obsessed with making gift boxes lately I couldn't resist..
I had to make another one..
And this time I'm going to show you a very special stamp..
This is Gemini Tilda from the Zodiac Collection 2014..
Cute, right?
This collection is just incredible.. I cannot wait to colour them all up..

I've made another square box..
These are perfect for small presents.. I love them..
The base is made out of kraft paper.. I've made the lid out of some textured paper.. The border was decorated using a Martha Stewart Punch..

The papers are from Maja Design..
There are two small doilies tucked under there and I've used some of my favourite flowers and sprays..

The corners are made using a home made mold and some Fimo Air..
I've used a Spellbinders Circle die to cut out the image and a matching Scalloped Circle to put under..
All the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked..
They are also machine sewn..

I love using these butterflies on my projects..
They are made with Martha Stewart molds..
There are some pearls on the box too..
And of course some gorgeous lace..

Here's another corner full of flowers..
I've glued one of the butterflies on the big flower.. Looks like it's resting there..
All the flowers are painted with some gesso..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I've also used a Magnolia postmark and one from Kort & Godt..
There's some Chunky White Frantage around the image..

I've added some Vintage Seam Binding all around the lid and tied it on one side..
Take a look at this stunning pendant.. It's one of the Idea-Ology Baubles.. Just gorgeous..

This is all from me for now..
Can't wait too see what you'll come up with for this challenge..
I'm sure you don't want to miss the chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Tilda's Town online Magnolia store..

Live & Love Crafts - Challenge #21 - Earthy Easter

Oh my.. It's March already..
Where does the time go???
Are you ready for a new Live & Love Crafts Challenge?
This month's theme is Earthy Easter..
We want to see an Easter Project in Earthy tones..
This is what this is all about..

These are not the colours I usually use..
There are some that I'm just scared of..
But how could I not use the new Pion Design A Day In May papers..
They are just gorgeous..
And perfect for this challenge..

This is a pocket tag..
I got the new Magnolia Ink Magazine (No1/2014) the other day and there was this fantastic step by step tutorial.. I just had to try it out..
The base is made out of kraft paper..
Only now I realize that I forgot to take a pic of the inside.. Oh my..

Now let's take a look at some of the details..
I love this wonderful charm.. Perfect for all your easter projects..
The textured papers are from Papermania..
The ribbon used to tie everything up is from my stash..
Of course there are lots of WOC flowers all over the place and a small doily tucked under there..

I've used my Spellbinders Ovals to cut the image out and then a Scalloped Oval under that..
Then there's this fantastic lace and the Shabby Pearl Rose Organza Trim..
I've added a bit of cheesecloth under all those layers and tons of pearls..
The flowers and other random parts of the tag are covered with Gesso..
All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn..

This is Tilda With Egg and Chicken from the Little Easter Collection 2013..
I'm glad I finally had the chance to colour her.. She's gorgeous..
The Chicken Wire I used around her is from that same collection..
The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I've added some Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint on the eggs, Stickles on her dress and Liquid Pearls all around and on the image..
The white spots on her cheeks are made using an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen..

It's nice to make something different from time to time.. LOL!
I really hope you enjoyed..
You can find all the products listed at the end of this post..
This pocket tag is already available for sale in my Etsy store HERE..
See you soon..

Hugs, Tina

Live & Love Crafts - Pearls and Pins

Hi everyone!
As promised I'm here with a new project..
When I saw the theme for this week at LLC I was like: Are you kidding me?
Pins and pearls? Really??
Have you seen all the pins and pearly stuff Sandy's got in her store??

Here's my card.. With all the pins and pearls I could put on such a small project.. LOL!

This little cutie is Tilda Hiding Rose Bouquet from the Lost & Found Collection 2014..
I think these are my favourite papers from the Vintage Summer Basics Collection from Maja Design..
I've used another GoKreate die for the card's shape..
And something I could not live without are all those gorgeous WOC flowers..
The flower sprays are such a wonderful addition to those bouquets, aren't they?

Here are the pins..
And the fantastic Pearl Star Flower..
I've used some pearl string all around the image..

And here you can see some Shabby Seam Binding and the stunning Pearl Rose Organza Trim that was recently added to the store..
Of course I had to add tons of pearls all over the place..
I just went crazy with those..

Here's another close up of the flowers, the cream Pearl String, the lovely "Zoé" Lace and..
..a bit of the Pearl Lace With Beads..
All the paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and some Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
They are also machine sewn..

There's a doily under all those layers and this gorgeous key charm covered with some Gesso..
I've used Crackle Paint and Gesso all over my project to add that shabby touch..
The tag is a Magnolia Doohickey die called Tilda Tag..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I combine both the ink pads and reinkers..
Colour list:
Skin: Vintage Photo,Tattered Rose
Cheeks: Tattered Rose
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress: Victorial Velvet, Pumice Stone, Black Soot
Shoes: Pumice Stone, Walnut Stain, Black Soot
Greenery: Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
Background: Weathered Wood

I wanted to show you the Stickles I used on her dress and the Chunky White Frantage around her..
The postmark is from Kort & Godt..
I've used once again a Spellbinders Circle and a Scalloped Circle to cut her out..

I'm entering this card into the following challenge:

Hopefully I didn't forget anything..
If I did.. Just ask..

I really hope you enjoyed..
Thanks for stopping by!
