Привіт, друзі! Ось і до нас завітала Коляда. Ми проводжаємо старого дідугана і чекаємо народження нового світлого року. Хочу, щоб ці листівки принесли чудового і світлого настрою якнайбільшій кількості людей.
І потім, заряджені цим позитивом, вони прилетять до наших славних воїнів та будуть зігрівати їхні серця нашим з вами теплом!
In the night from 6-th on 7-th January Ukrainians celebrate their Christmas - it calls Koliada. I want to send these cards to our brave soldiers to warm their hearts with our love.

У Святий вечір ми зазвичай готуємо дванадцять пісних страв. Посмакуймо кутею! Доречі, моя Кицюня дуже любить кутю!
Traditionally in Christmas Eve we make 12 lenten dishes:

Поставимо Дідуха, та згадаємо наших предків!
Make Didukh from the spikes to remember souls of our dead relatives!

Нехай Коляда завітає у кожну хату веселою піснею та щирими посмішками, нехай зігріє кожного! Нехай ворог назавжди покине нашу землю і ми будемо жити в мирі та злагоді!

Have a great holidays, friends, whether you are Ukrainians or not, we are the children of one beautiful planet! I'll make a wish in these days, that enemies, which now killing people in my beautiful land - will disappear!

А ось і трішки нарисів зі снігом, іще дуже сиро і прохолодно, сніг тане і тане, перетворюючись у брудну рихлу масу...
Намагаюся малювати з натури, як моя подруга Carolyn, вже готую пастельки ;)

Урра! Це перший сніг у Києві! Чую, як шкребуть лопати по асфальтові :)

Hurray! It was a snowy and wonderful day today! Sky was grey, but air around played a melody with snowflakes :))) ihhiiiii And pastel dreams in my flat.

Зима іще триває, але весняні пташечки співають вже радісних пісень вранці.
За вікном автобусу - засніжені поля і замерзлі калюжі...

Winter is still here, but spring birds sing happy songs in the morning.
Outside the bus window - snow-covered fields and frozen puddles, very moody landscapes...

Поки сонечко гріє, а сніг не тане, треба малювати! :) І ось, трішки нарисів зимового вчорашнього дня.

Hello, friends! Today I want to tell you a story about Slavic Christmas :)

And to wish a Merry Christmas! Щасливого Різдва!

Kolyada - Slavic  holiday of winter solstice and the eponymous god. Celebrated Slavic people in ancient times the winter solstice (21 or 22 December) - not always in the same day as all the other major Slavic holidays (Kupala, Shrovetide) associated with four major annual astronomical events. Now Christmas in Russia, Ukraine and all Orthodox celebrated in 6-7 of January. Because of Julian Calendar.

Kolyada - is a new year cycle. New sun appears an the image of the child. The baby - it's the sun's disk, anciently called Kolo (circle). It means a seasonal turn, dying of old and the arrival of strong young man.
On the day of the winter solstice people brought home the sheaves and the straw dolls and sing songs - carols with the wishes of wellbeing in the house and asking for gifts - cakes and pies. Caroling people dressed in a bear, horse, goat, cow, and it is an ancient symbol of abundance.

The White Giraffe

Привіт усім! В дитинстві у мене була маленька іграшка, Жирафик. Я його дуже любила і брала із собою всюди й завжди. Сьогодні він став білий-білий і приніс із собою сніг :) на вулиці холодно і сіро, а мені - тепло у зимовому лісі.
Hello, friends! I had a toy in my childhood - my little friend, Giraffe. I loved him and he was all time close to me. Today he became a White colour! And he bring the light snow. There is too cold and grey on the streets but it is so warm in my "snowbound wood" :D

Сніг запорошив усе навколо, увечері я йшла по засніжених доріжках, а він розлітався, мов пух, такий легкий і пухнастий!
Snow flunked all around, in the evening I was walking on the snow-covered paths, and it flew away like fluff, so light and fluffy!

Нарешті він тане! Можливо це і не кінець зими, але хочеться бачити теплі гілки дерев на вербах, рослини ,що вже мріють побачити сонце! :)

Finally, it melts! Maybe this is not the end of winter, but I am so want to see the warm branch of willow trees, plants, that already dreaming to see the sun! :)

Привіііт, мої друзі! Холодно, чи не так? Сьогоднішня прогулянка надихнула мене на думку. Подивіться на цих друзів! Наскільки чудово, коли є друзі! Тоді найкрихкіший лід тане від подиху і замерзлі слова тануть і перетворюються на пару :)
Hellooo, my friends! Cold, is not it? Today's walk inspired me to mind. Look at these friends! How it is great when we have a friends! Then the fragile ice melts from the  breath and the frozen words melt and become a vapor :)

Новорічні вітання тривають, і сьогодні до мене забіг кролик в гості :) Він танцював та веселився, щось співав собі під носа.
Отож вітаю всіх із Різдвом та особливі вітання від Кролика, він зараз вже на пів дороги до Китаю!!! :)
New Year's greetings are continuing! Today one pretty Rabbit come to me :) He danced and rejoiced, something sung by his nose. So I congratulate everyone with Christmas and special greetings from the Rabbit, he has now already half way to China! :)

Вчорашній день

Day Yesterday

Вчора видалася нагода трішки поподорожувати :) Сніг та мороз, замерзлі калюжі та чудові краєвиди за вікном.
А сьогодні - це всього лише слід, що лишився у моїй пам'яті.
Yesterday I traveled a bit:) The snow and frost, frozen puddles and beautiful views outside the window. And today - it's just a picture that remained in my memory.

Зимовою дорогою, дорогою додому. Де птахи щебечуть радісно на сонці, де стежка веде до трави і дерев на горизонті...

On the winter road, on the way home. Where birds sing happily under the sun, where the trail leads to the grass and trees on the horizon...
