Jolly good post-it note holder

On Thursday Teddy Bo launched their first Teddy Bo's Top Tip Thursday, (say that fast after a few vodka and cokes) so off I pootled to Tesco to get myself a post-it not block.  They were only 40pence so I got two, just in case.  In case of what I'm not sure, but definitely something.
I began by following Jills brilliant instructions.  I already had Jolly the G Jiraffe printed off so thought I would go with a whole Giraffe theme. *And here comes my Top Tip* I didn't have any giraffe papers so I googled giraffe wallpaper and printed this great paper off.

Jolly is coloured with copic's.   The edges of all pieces of card have been edged in rusty hinge distress ink.  I used raffia ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts in a few strips under the image.  The card candi added to the corners is by Craftwork cards.  The three tickets are Tim Holtz one's, I choose word's that I associate with Teddy Bo.
I would like to enter my post-it note easel card into the following challenges :

DYSU - textures - raffia ribbon

2 hours 2 late

This card was meant to be for the Lili of the Valley Challenge but as the title suggests I'm 2 hours too late, so I would like to enter it into the following challenges instead :
Craft us Crazy - Autumn colours
Bugaboo - anything goes
Secret Crafter - autumn colours
Color me creative - fall or Halloween inspired
Stamp with fun - autumn
Top tip - easel cards
Papertake - anything goes
Simon says stamp - multiple folds
Crating for all seasons - birthday

This card is made up of scraps.  The Kraft cardstock is actually the inside of coke boxes and the PP is from a magazine.  The leather effect panels are actually wallpaper samples thanks to my MIL for those.
The swirly corner is a die cut using a spellbinder die from a Christmas set.
The lili of the valley image is coloured with copic's, his hat is paper pieced with some of the backing paper and the sky is done using a template and distress ink.
Off for a bath to ease my achy bod,
Hugs

Yesterday I found out that one of my Mum and Dad's oldest friend is really having a hard time living with cancer and they wanted a card to give him that showed they cared.  Now I've known Jack all my life, his wife was there for my Mum when she started going into labour until Dad arrived.  Now Jack is a lifelong Bury F.C supporter and my husband and his family are fans of bury's biggest rival the mighty Rochdale A.F.C
Now I wanted Jack to know we cared but I didn't want him to think I felt sorry for him so thought I would have a little joke with the card.  I also felt that the usual Get Well Soon was not right for obvious reasons.
I needed to explain all this as you just wouldn't understand the wording otherwise.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Critter Sketch - anything goes
Simon says stamp - anything goes
Stamptacular - anything goes but be creative (I needed to be creative with the wording)
Crafty pad - blue and brown
Paper sundaes - super duper sketch
Pile it on - B is for .... Bear
Bugaboo - anything goes
Card making mamas - digi week
Stamp something - digi week
Do you stack up - friendly critters

Isn't he just the cutest!! He is of course Teddy Bo.  He has just had his shop made-over and would love to show it off to you if you pop over.  He is coloured with my super duper copic's.  In the sketch the image had inverted rounded corner's and sadly I don't have one of those punches so instead I'm using a woodware one Mum won and gave me.  The paper's are actually nitwit one's that came in a pack with a magazine.  I so love these denim look papers.  The gems were originally clear but I coloured them with my copic's to match in with the colour scheme.
I really liked this sketch so much so I continued with it on the inside of the card.
Now there is some blog candy on offer over at Cutie Pie Challenge and everytime I look more stash has been added.  The blog candy is available until the launch of the challenge on the 19th september, which is just 2 weeks today!!!
If you would like to sponsor our "amazing" challenge get in quick as our sponsorship is filling up by the day!!

Time to get all Tiddly Inky

It seem's such a long time since I entered a Tiddly Inks challenge and I thought it was time I put things right.
So today see's me entering a Tiddly Ink card into the following challenges :
Tiddly Inks - book inspired
Totally gorjuss - sketch used
Card making mamas - digi stamping
The crafty pad - blue and brown
Charisma cardz - anything goes
Stamp something - digi day
Prairie fairy - books
Simon says stamp - anything goes

I have used a mixture of two Tiddly Inks images.  I used Bloom Q and the books that were a freebie a while ago.  She is coloured with copic's and sakura blue and clear stardust pens.  The heart border was cut on my cricut using a cut file I found in the make the cut gallery.  The sentiment is computer generated.
I followed the sketch from Totally gorjuss and turned it on it's side.
I hope you like my card today and I will be back tomorrow morning with my Magical Monday DT challenge card.
Hugs
