I love you

This card is for my Hubby's cousin to give to her FiancĂ©e.
I'm not overly happy with it and I think I could done alot better with the colouring but I've not been in the right head space to be creative so it's my own fault.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Sketch n stash - great sketch - old papers, new twine
Pollycraft - distressing - distress ink used on edges of all papers
Cards for men - anything goes
Dream Valley - distressing
Crafty Emmas Store - 2 different DP
Bugaboo - distressing

The image(LIli of the Valley) is coloured with copics.  The DP's are from my scrap drawer, I think they may be from a magazine.  The twine is laced through the image and came from aldi.  I have used walnut distress ink on the edges of all the papers.

Time for a new Craft Your Passion Challenge

I'm loving my time spent with the Craft your passion design team.  I'm already 2 challenges into my month long guest design team term.
Today our new challenge is Under the Sea and I have kindly been sent this cute merman from Simply Betty Stamps.  He's called Cornelius and you can find him and his other merkids friends here.

Here's my card

A close up of my coloured image

Ticket sentiment stamp and many others are free on Marions blog

Hopefully you can see the shimmer on the backing paper I created.

Cornelius is coloured with my copic's.  I added mica powder to his tail to add some shimmer and some glamour dust to the dragonfly.
The backing paper was made by blending distress inks and then spritzing with perfect pearls clear mica spray.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Bugaboo - anything goes
Stamp Something - digi stamps
Craft us crazy - anything goes
Cute card thursday - no designer paper
Inkspirations - great sketch used

Hugs
