Mand's Teddy Bo card

So as you can see from the title the card I have to share with you today is by my best and maddest mate Mand.  She doesn't have a blog and so I told her I would enter it into challenges from my blog.
Mand originally came round for a bit of a copic class but when she saw my Teddy Bo cards for the past few days she wanted to try and colour a Teddy Bo.  After searching my vast Teddy Bo collection she chose one.  I said if she coloured black, white and one other colour she could enter the Teddy Bo challenge.  She got very excited and straight after colouring the card you are about to see she ran straight to the Teddy Bo shop and bought her first 6 images.  So wanna see Mad Mandy's card ??

Mandy would like to enter her card into the following challenges :
Teddy Bo - black white and one other colour
Pink Gem - sketch used
Pile it on - girls
Totally Gorjuss - as you like it
Bearly-mine - flowers
My time to craft - flowers

I would love it if you could leave Mand some of your lovely comments and then she might want to enter our blogging world,

Teddy Bea is all girly and pink

I was trying to think today if I had ever coloured Teddy Bea in girly pink.  I couldn't remember one so thought I'd give it a go.
I would like to enter my girly pink Bea card into the following challenge :
Simon says stamp - brilliant sketch used
Pile it on - girls just wanna have fun
Stamptacular - diva with attitude or style (Bea is THE most stylish bear around)
Emerald Fairy - birthday
Card making mamas - birthdays
Charisma cardz - glitter
My time to craft - here come the girls
Digital Tuesdays - cute and girly

I began by colouring Teddy Bea with my copic's.  I changed the orientation of parts of the sketch to fit in with embossing folder.I wanted my hearts to go top to bottom.  I then die cut the swirl and flower from the cricut cart accent essentials.  The white panels are embossed with a country companions hearts embossing folder.  The double loop punch is a Martha Stewart favourite.
I hope you like my card and come back again some time.

Hellllloooooo

Today, Teddy Bo dropped in to say hello.  He is just the cutest guy around and he just won't leave my craft desk.  I would like to enter Bo's card into the following challenges :
Simon says stamp - brilliant sketch
2 sisters - boys and their toys
Sweet Stampin - strawberry, chocolate and cream colour scheme
DYSU - boys or men.

Isn't he just the cutest bear around???  Teddy Bo is coloured with copics.  I used my fiskars bracket punch along the edge of the image and the Hello! is stamped in brown chalk ink.  The papers used are from the same sheet of MME Andrea Victoria paper.  Don't you just love the double sided papers.
And that's it.  Nice and simple,

My final card as a guest designer at Craft Your Passion

Today's card is my final time as a guest designer on Craft your passion.
If you don't know I have really been struggling with a very bad back this past week and haven't been able to sit to colour, which is a huge nightmare for me.  So I managed to get a card together not realising I was meant to be following a sketch.  I've been unable to sit and colour another image so I cheated and printed out one of my coloured images.
Here is the sketch you need to be following for this weeks challenge :

And here is my take on the sketch :

The main image I have used is called Steampunk Luca and is from Tickled Pink stamps.  The clock face was an SVG file I found on the net, not sure where.  The squares at the bottom of the card are by Delicious Doodles.  They come as black digi stamps and I just changed the colour of them and made them into little squares.  The embossed section on the cards is done using a the steampunk embossing fold in the clock and steampunk set, by Ranger.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
One stop crafts - anything but square
2 sisiters - boys

My mojo has returned!!!

This card is being sent to Ryan.  Please take the time to go go Ryan's link and find out a bit about hm and how you can help brighten his day.

Well am I glad my mojo found it's way home.  I think that it might have had something to do with the fact that I was working with a super cute Teddy Bo image.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Teddy Bo - black white and one other colour
2 sisters - boys
Totally gorjuss - as you like it
DYSU - boys
stamps r us - anything goes
Craft us crazy - anything goes
Top tip - boys/men
Cards for men - anything goes

In the second photo I have tried to show you the lush ribbon I have used that I got from Lacey at Stamp and Create.  It's the satin pleats ribbon in satin.  I will ordering more from her once my current lot is near the end.
This cute Teddy Bo is called Bo's bubbly smiles, and can be found in the pencil sketch section of the bits and bobs department.  They are a set of three and were my first ever purchase from Teddy Bo.
Teddy Bo has his hat and jumper coloured in with copic's.  The black and white PP was from one of my best buds Kath, Thanks huni.  I have gone overboard in the matting and layering department but I'm pleased with how it looks.  The final touch on my card is the 2 white candi from Craftwork cards.
If you have managed to read all the way to the end then I will let you into a secret.  I have some blog candy on offer.  It's not being blogged about on any other blogs as I wanted it to go to a "real" follower of my blog but since my mojo has returned I'm feeling in a good mood and thought I'd let just you know.

Cards for men - anything goes

Do you like my ticket?  If so then  save the tickets just below this card discription by clicking on it then left click and save as.
The image I have coloured with copic's is called Steampunk Luca.  The backing paper I found in my digi paper section, and I added steampunk corners from Delicious doodles.  The clock is a Tim Holtz sizzix die as is the cog in the top right corner.  The cog is covered in gilding flakes.  I used antique paper distress stain on both the edge of the image and the BP.  I then went round all the edges of the papers with my paper distresser.

Hope you like my card that's a little different from my normal style,

What with my back seriously playing up and my craft mojo going on holiday, today has been pretty pants.
So I thought I would tell you about the blog candy I have gathered together for one lucky person.

I won the Teddy Bo Love is in the Air challenge

First things first, I need to apologise to my best mate Mandy as she was sat next to me when I saw that I had won the Teddy Bo.  Apparently I screamed in excitement (don't remember doing that bit) and then I began pummelling her leg (I remember doing that thou)
I won with this card

and this is my Teddy Bo winner's badge :

I made that card to give to my Brother and Sister-in-law for their wedding anniversary which was yesterday.
You can read about my win and also see the awesome DT cards for the new challenge here.
Another of my Teddy Bo cards came number 1 in the top 3 over at Top Tip Tuesday.
This is the card that came top 3

and this is my top 3 badge :

so still no card to share with you as today I spent time giving my friend a copic colouring lesson and then we went over to costco and got some lovely ribbon.

New items listed on ebay

I've listed a few things on eBay in my bid to be able to pay for my place on the Lili of the Valley colouring masterclass day.
You can find my auctions here
Also on the subject of the master class, are you booked on the sunday class and live in the manchester area?
Do you want to cut the travel cost and have 2 very mad girls share the journey with you???
You see due to our sheer excitement we booked our places before checking we could get there and as I don't drive and Mandy doesn't know if she will have a car, we thought we ask you lovely people if you wanted some company.  I know it's a very long shot but thought it was worth a go, otherwise my poor husband or wonderful but long suffering Dad will have to take us.
I will hopefully be back tomorrow with a card to share with you all,
Big hugs

Craft Your Passion Challenge 72 - They said what?!?!?

Welcome to another week at Craft your passion and our theme this week is "They said what!?!?!
I got to work with one of  Bugaboo's great images.
Wanna see??

I began by colouring my Grandma with copic's and I then added her white spots to get dress with a white gel pen and glossy accents to her glasses.  I then went overboard in the old matting and layering stages.
The corrugated card along the bottom has bakers twine wrapped around it.  I embossed a piece of white card with my sizzix big spots embossing folder and I added a piece of stripy red ribbon along the top.
To follow the sketch perfectly I did need to add another panel but when I did it looked too much so I removed it again.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
My time to craft - G for .... Grandma
Sketch Saturday - great sketch used

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at Magical Monday's.  For the next two week's we want to see you using our very own Heidi's sketch.  And please don't forget to use a magical image on your project.
As Christmas approaches don't forget that the main man Father Christmas and his sidekick Rudolf are magical characters, along with their ever so helpful elves.
This is the sketch that Heidi has designed for us all to work with.

And here is my take on the sketch :

Poor Teddy Bo, I don't think his Christmas job is exactly what he had planned.  This Bo is called Sugar Plum Fairy and he doesn't come with wings I added those in adobe elements.
No only is Bo in a skirt he's also been blinged up to his eyeballs.  Sorry Bo.
Bo is coloured with copic's and I then added glamour dust to his wings, blue ultra fine glitter to his stars and 2 coats of crystal ice stickles.
I used tumbled glass distress ink on the circle and the fancy tag.
The paper's are from the DCWV winter wonder stack.  The gems are fizzy moon and the ribbon is from my stash.
The sentiment was created by my very talented friend Marion.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Totally Papercrafts - Christmas
Bunny Zoe - easel cards
Bearly-mine - bling
Cards for men - anything goes
Totally Gorjuss - cute and cuddly
Crafts 4 eternity - flags, tickets, tags (I used a fancy tag as a stopper)

Thanks to my great friend Marion I can share with you the word art she made me for this card.
Click on the image to bring it up large then right click and save image as.

Good luck everyone entering our challenge,

My trio of Teddy Bo

This week I have made 3 Teddy Bo cards to celebrate my brothers wedding anniversary.  I got a text today to say they all arrived and they think they are beautiful.
I think that Teddy Bo digi stamps are a dream image to colour and each of the cards has a different brown copic colour combo for the fur to mix things up a bit.
Here are my three cards altogether :

The one on the left uses the "Hatched, matched and dispatched" image.  I used my make the cut software to make the shaped card and I have attached mini cans to the bumper of the car using bakers twine.  You can see full details of this card here.
The middle card took me quite a while to make.  Not only did I colour the image, I made it into a shaker card with gold hearts inside.  I then cut a frame on my cricut and using gilding flakes to gild the whole frame.
More details on this card can be found here.
And finally is the card my Brother will give his wife on Monday.  The sentiment reads "Thank you for choosing me".  I love the torn rose that I added to the card.  They are a great thing to make whilst watching tv as they are very simple to make.  You can find details of my final card here.
I am entering this set into the following two challenges.  Technically you are meant to just re-post one card but I wanted to show you all my three cards together.  I hope thats ok.  My reason for choosing these cards is that I have had some of the kindest comments for these cards and it makes me very proud of my colouring skills.

Thankyou for choosing me

When my brother asked me to make a card for him to give to his wife on their anniversary the only help he gave me regarding wording was "thank you for putting up with me".  Now don't tell him I said so but I think his wife is lucky that she has him.  So I decided to change the wording to read "Thank you for choosing me"  I thought it sounded so much nicer, more romantic and it fit my Teddy Bo image better.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges :
Stamp something - thank you
Do you stack up - thank you
Top tip tuesday - thank you
Cupcake crafts - sketch used
Copic creations - use copic BG colours
Stampalot - whatever you fancy

The sketch has been flipped on it's side and I have replaced the 3 gems for the flower with the leaves.
The image which is a Teddy Bo digi stamp is coloured in with copic's.  For this card I thought I would colour Bea and Bo in different brown colour combo's.  I have added glamour dust to the pom pom on Bea's hat and clear glitter prn to the centre of the flowers Bo has behind his back.  I have used the same woodware corner punch on all the papers on this card.  The PP are from Pink Petticoat I think.
The torn rose was made, glued and then a pearl added to the centre.  The rose's leaves are from a woodware grasses punch and are punched from wrapping paper.  And that's my tip of today.  Look out for paper's that can be used craftily, whether its wrapping paper or my other BIG favourites.  Which is to cut out the panels from the boxes, cans of coca cola come in, as they make perfect "kraft " cardstock as long as the outside is covered, no one is any the wiser.
Thanks for stopping by and did you know that there are now Teddy Bo rubber stamps?????
Big hugs

It's raining hearts on Teddy Bo and Bea

The other day I mentioned to my MIL that I wanted to do a shaker card and as soon as she saw Love Showers Teddy Bo digi stamp she said that I should get that and make it into the shaker card.  So as any good daughter-in-law would do I did as I was told and went to the shop and added love showers to my basket.  As I was there another couple of digi's fell in the basket and then I saw that Gayle had released the first lot of their new goodies, a new 8x8" patterned papers book so that fell in too.  Well it would be rude not to wouldn't it??
The papers arrived this morning and I'm regretting only buying 1 lot of papers.  They are gorgeous and printed on the best quality paper I've ever found.  I had planned on using them on this card but just couldn't take my scissor's to them.
I am entering this card into the following challenge :
Bunny Zoe's - easel cards
Cute card thursday - weddings
Craft us crazy - anything goes
Teddy Bo - love is in the air
Anything goes - celebrations
Bearly mine - bling
Critter sketch - wedding
Stamptacular - fancy folds
Totally gorjuss - going round in circles

I began by colouring in Teddy Bo and Bea in sepia tones to match the gold sequin hearts.  The actual shaker piece is the plastic covering for the red thin super sticky tape.  I them went onto the gallery on Make the cut and found this gorgeous frame.  I needed to fiddle with it a bit to get it the perfect fit for my shaker.I them cut it out of punch tape and covered it in gilding flakes.  Next came the time consuming job of brushing off all the excess flakes, which wasn't easy due to the frame having so many fiddly bits.  I finally cut a shadow mat and glued everything together.  The front is finished with card candi by craftwork cards.
The inside was made to repeat the front, only making smaller frames to fit the wedding sentiment on.  The cream spotty paper is Bo Bunny double dot.
I think that just about covers it all,

My Daddy is Number 1

I'm not talking about my Daddy.  Well yes I am coz he is simply THE BEST, but this card is actually for another Daddy.  Ethan is sending his Daddy his very first birthday card and as Ethan is only 8 months old he asked me to help with it.
I would like to enter Ethan's card into the following challenges :
Sunday sketch n stamp - the sketch was mad for this image - new digi stamp, old glitter pen
Bearly-mine - bling
Anything goes - happy birthday
A spoonful of sugar - happy birthday
icopic - orange/blue colour scheme
Pollycraft - distressing
Cards for men - anything goes
Card making mamas - birthday cards
Craft us crazy - anything goes

On the sketch the image stands on a rectangle the holds the sentiment but I thought I would be nicer for the little boy on a podium as if he's won a prize of having the best Dad.  The little boy is by Mami Doodles and is called Daddy's boy.  He's coloured with copic's and has white gel pen as high lights on his shoe's and cheeks, and I have gone over the writing with a clear glitter pen to add some subtle bling.  The stars were cut on my cricut and are outlined in glamour dust glitter.  The gingham paper (that is edged in distress ink) is from my best bloggy friend Marion. Thank you ducky, I just can't get enough of gingham at the mo.  The devine twine has has some distress ink run over them to make them match the colour scheme better.
I just want to say a big thank you to all those of you who have become a follower.  As I have now made it into 3 figures I thought it was about time I had some blog candy so hopefully I will get the photos taken and get a blog post done tomorrow.
Big hugs

Want to see my new stash???

The other week I was lucky enough to win a voucher for Stamp and Create.  Well today my order arrived and I'm blown away with the quality of the ribbon I ordered.  I am an official ribbon-a-holic, but boy this ribbon is just beautiful.  Wanna see??

The ribbons are so beautiful and although it will be hard to cut into I know I can order more off Lacey at Stamp and Create.  You will find the ribbon I have ordered here.

I love you

This card is for my Hubby's cousin to give to her FiancĂ©e.
I'm not overly happy with it and I think I could done alot better with the colouring but I've not been in the right head space to be creative so it's my own fault.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :
Sketch n stash - great sketch - old papers, new twine
Pollycraft - distressing - distress ink used on edges of all papers
Cards for men - anything goes
Dream Valley - distressing
Crafty Emmas Store - 2 different DP
Bugaboo - distressing

The image(LIli of the Valley) is coloured with copics.  The DP's are from my scrap drawer, I think they may be from a magazine.  The twine is laced through the image and came from aldi.  I have used walnut distress ink on the edges of all the papers.

Craft Your Passion Challenge 71 - Anything But A Card

Hi and welcome to Craft your passion's 71st challenge.
This week we want to see anything but a card.  Yes that's right, no cards please.
For my ABC I have chosen to do an easel drawer box.  I found the idea here on Split Coast Stampers.

The image is coloured with copic's.  I have added glamour dust glitter to the Tiddly Inks Fairy Fae's wings, fun flock to the dandelion clocks and clear glitter pens to the tops of the mushroom.  Isn't the mushroom great?  Its by Pixie Cottage Stamps.  The tattered rose is handmade from a hand torn circle of card.  The leaves are from a woodware grass punch.
*This card would also qualify for the Magical Monday's challenge.  It's banner or pennants plus glitter.  It must also include a magical image, such as fairies, elves, wizards.*
I would like to enter my easel drawer into the following challenges :
Top Tip Tuesday - all straight lines
My time to craft - fairy tales
Creative craft - summertime
Papertake - make your own flowers
Anything goes - birthdays
A spoonful of sugar - birthdays
Card making mamas - birthdays
Allsorts - anything but a card
Craft us crazy - anything goes

Thanks for dropping on by and I hope to see you again soon,
Hugs
