hello.

kristelle called me on night and told me a shocking news.
'Bo Han's dead'

i did not immediately believe her.
but i thought, 'no one will be so dumb to play this kind of prank one hors.'
although i was still in a state of unbelieve, i accepted it very unwillingly.

i was so shocked that i started crying uncontrollably.
i cant accept that actually.
after, i got the hold of myself.
i called jamie.
she dint believe a bit in the beginning.
but i manage to put it across firmly then it is true.
so, both of us had difficulties falling asleep.
when i close my eyes, images of bohan will appear.
it is super hard to believe that he's gone.
so, i was tossing and turning unitl i finally manage to fall asleep.
dint even know why i manage to doze off.
perhaps, im really too tired and drained liaos.

hence, we went to his service today.
i was late, and felt very guilty of it.
when i finally got to the church, cos i dun actually know the way there.
just anyhow walk and try to find it.
i dint dare to go into the hall.
stayed downstairs while hearing the service go on through the speaker.
felt like crying but just cant cry. =(
saw shan hong came, he was late too.
we dint dare to go up until ruirong msg-ed me saying that, there are other late comers too.
so we went up.
when i finally got upstairs and saw his picture, i started crying.
i thought, 'so is true. he's dead.'
finally, i plucked up the courage to go into the hall.
saw jamie crying and i started crying again.
after the service, went home with a very heavy heart.

now, im starting to accept the fact that he's gone.
although im still sad, but i no longer feel like crying.
i guess he doesn't want to see us all crying over at the other side too.
anyway, he left us all on 10th December 2006.

all i can say now is,
'LIFE IS VERY FRAGILE!'
and bohan will forever be missed by me.
im gonna miss his crappy-ness.

my deepest condolences to his family...

this has really made me treasure all the people in my life.
im glad everyone is still alive and kickin.

the all waited entry on THE RECENT CHINA TRIP!
finally, i have finish writing it. =)

Day 1:
morning, only my dad sent me to the airport.
cos mum needs to send my brother for soccer tournament.
kinda sad lors. =(
cos almost everyone has their parents with them.
during takeoff, felt super nervous.
its my first time taking a plane without my parents.
holded hands with sophie.
hahas.
both as nervous mahs.
the flight was kinda boring lors.
cos we just wake up in the morning, then wants us to sleep again.
like OH MY GOSH!
i cant do it.
hahas. =P
also, dunno how i tahan the 5 hours flight de lahs.
hahas. =P
anyway, reached shanghai pudong airport in the afternoon.
the airport like maze sia.
we take the same lift TWICE!
cos even the tour guide also dun really know the way around it.
hahas. =P
as soon as we got to our tourbus, we started our LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG bus ride to hangzhou, our first distination.
the bus ride is around 3 hours.
as it was raining when we got there.
we cant even see a thing out from the window.
it was damn misty lors.
during the bus ride, watched rob-b-hood.
hahas.
nice show! =)
soon, we reached hangzhou and had our first meal in CHINA. =)
the waiter working at that restaurant were quite shuai sia. =P
and hors, china ppl really like to 'horn' people lors.
on the road, for sure, u will hear ppl horning others. =(
anyway, i shared hotel rooms with sophie and sharon. =)

Day 2:
after breakfast, went to xi hu.
xi hu very nice lehs.
the scenery there is superb! =)
sat into a boat to tour around xi hu.
soon after, went to hua kang guan yu.
there also very nice!
hahas. =)
you guys can see from the photos lahs. =P
after that, went to yue fei miao.
learned about the wicked traitors who harmed yue fei.
IDIOT SIA!

then, it was LUNCH TIME! =)
then so zhun zhun, at the hotel got ppl holding their wedding dinner there.
saw the wedding car of hangzhou, its a limousine lors. =\
im so jealous! =P
after lunching, went to ling yin shi.
the place where tang san and his 3 disciples went to get the mantra. =)
then, went fei lai feng.
there got a cave called ji gong dong sia.
hahas.
it is said that ji gong once lived there.
and cooked dog meat there. =(
soon after, we went to the long jing cha plantation.
bought long jing cha and long jing cha tang. =)
spent a BOMB for them.
then, it was dinner! =)
was damn high during dinner.
laughed like a siao charbo sia.
hahas.
i cant stop laughing even after i got back to the hotel room. =)
and we saw fireworks sia.
it is their culture to fang yan hua after their wedding dinner. =O

Day 3:
checkout from the hotel in the morning.
went to visit the zhe jiang fu shu zhong xue.
we went around the school for a while and went to meet with their principal.
learned more about the education of China.
china students have a more stressful school life than us, singaporeans.
then, we went to the north side of xi hu.
cos xi hu very big mahs. hahas.
it is still as beautiful. =)
soon after, we went to zhe jiang university's new campus to see-see-look-look. =)
it is VERY VERY big lors.
after that, we took a loooonnnnnggggg bus ride, AGAIN! to ningbo.
had dinner when we got to ningbo and lodged into the hostel of ning bo xiao shi zhong xue.

Day 4:
its our first official day in the school.
was feeling very nervous lors. =P
wake up at 6am lors.
so early sia.
and their food there are quite oily sia. =(
after breakfast, we went to meet up with their principal.
soon after, we are distirbuted to the different classes.
i got into the same class as chien lan.
our class is 12.
felt super alien to the class as no one is talking to us.
felt quite sian. =(
and lessons are damn boring as we dun even understand a thing lahs.
everything is taught in chinese, except english.
dozed off umpteen times during class.
and this is only the first day.
wonder how am i going to tahan for the rest of the days lors.

Day 5:
our second day in the school.
but we did not go for any lessons as people are starting to fall ill.
so we were told to rest for the day.
YEAH! no torturing lessons to endure! =)
spent the time, washing my clothes =\ , and sleeping.
cried when i saw my mum's msg.
i miss them man.
slept till 11.30 then went for lunch.
after lunch, we practised our dance, carlsberg.
i dun even know how to dance sia.
but soon i go the hang of it. =)
practised our dance and our songs too.
enjoyed it a lot.
and that session has bonded the tour group even more. =)

Day 6:
third day at the school.
i managed to keep myself awake for most of the lessons except maths.
i hate maths! =(
chinese lessons had impacted me the most.
i learned of the problems that our parents encounter and this lets me understand them more. =)
lessons ended at 3pm.
the wind was super big outside.
almost got blown away sia. =P
anyway, we went to visit ning bo wai yu xue xiao.
we were made to go into a class to teach them english.
it was super impromptu lors.
we dun even know wat to do lahs.
made a fool of ourselves there.
we were like clowns entertaining them lors.

soon after, we went back.
had our everynight routine.
dinner, bathing, washing of clothes, meeting with our groups, leader's meeting(im a leader too)
then, went back to my room to wait for my parents' phone call.
i miss them sia. =(

Day 7:
lessons as usual till 12pm.
then was lunch.
at 1pm, we had our dance and song practise again till 3pm.
had tonnes of fun sia. =)
after practising, we went to the music room for our exchange 'concert'.
the china students put up various splendid performances for us.
while we sang two songs, 'Xi Shui Chang Liu' & "We Will Get There', and danced Carlsberg.
we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest during the dance.
hahas. =)
soon after the concert, i went back to pack my stuff for the homestay at my buddy's house.
meet up with her and her mum drove us to a 5-star hotel to have dinner.
meet her dad there.
they were all super nice to me lors.
and her house was a beauty too.
my dream house lors. =)
felt like princess during the stay.
they even prepared a room of my own for me lors.
how i wish i can stay there for a longer period of time?!
stayed for one night only. =(

Day 8:
left my buddy house at around 6.45am for breakfast at a nearby food outlet.
i miss her house man! =(
her house is like 5-star hotel lors. =X
then, her mum drove me back to school.
went back to the hostel to prepare.
then, went to assemble to tour around ningbo liaos. =)
went to he mu du and ci chang, these two historical sites.
soon after, we had our first shopping trip at tian yi guang chang & chen huang miao! =)
chen huang miao rox man!
so nice to shop lors.
it is like our bugis street. =)
but i dint really buy anything.
saving for shanghai... =)
oh ya!
you guys may be thinking 'miao' is temple mahs, why got shopping area right.
actually, china peeps got chen huang miao not to pray but to shop lors.
it is a shopping district lors.
shop until very happy sia. =)
somemore everything we spent we will divide it by five.
so it is so so so much cheaper. =)

Day 9:
a day of touring again. =)
went to feng hua xi kou jing qu and a waterfall.
at feng hua xi kou jing qu, we learnt more about Mr Jiang Jian Shi and the Jiang Family.
also, the waterfall was a beauty.
BUT! my camera went dead lahs.
so zhun zhun one lors! -RAWR!-
then, somemore, i left the extra battery in the hostel.
so sway lors! =(
after that, was lunch.
after filling our stomachs, we went to ah yu wang miao and tian yi ge.
ah yu wang miao was boring.
it is like a typical temple in china lors.
nothing special also.
besides, we went to a lot of temples le.

but tian yi ge was nice.
the collection of books it house is a lot man.
also, it has a mini collection of the various mahjong sets.
nice man!

Day 10:
lessons as usual till 12pm.
after lunching, we went to play captain's ball at one of the indoor basketball court.
it is a bit messy but was fun.
soon after, we had a enrichment course on paper cutting.
was taught how to cut the word, 'Xi' and some of things.
it was very fun sia.

Day 11:
lessons as usual till 11am.
so early right?! YEAH! =)
at 11am, we went to play basketball.
im a noob in basketball lahs.
dint really play too.
lunch was eaten outside school.
the food was superb.
after that, we had our jing ju lian pu de enrichment course.
was fun too.
we drew our own mask and coloured it. =)
after it, we had a little free time.
went back to the hostel to do stuff lors.
dinner was after it.
after dinner, went to play table tennis.
when we just got there, there were a couple of teachers playing too.
one of them walked over very angrily, actually wanted to scold us.
but i said, ' we are the students from singapore.'
their expression immediately change to one with smiles.
change so fast sia. =\
the phrase, 'we are the students from singapore' is very useful sia. =)

Day 12:
lessons as usual till 12pm.
lunched out again, as i love the food outside of the school lots.
had zhuan ke lessons at 1pm.
we made our own stamps. =)
was fun, fun & more fun!
but was quite disappointed as we were not crafting our own names.
after the course, we went to 'tour' the sports school.
they said tour, but what we did is just watch the wushu practice and learned some wushu.
we dint even walk around the school.
so disappointing lors. =(

Day 13:
lessons as usual until 3pm.
went back to the hostel to change for the basketball match at 4pm.
we were told that it was at 4pm.
so since there is still time, sophie and me were on our way out to buy some stuff when jie ying told us that the time of the match is actually 3pm.
we were shocked.
sophie ran off for the match while i ran to inform the rest.
fortunately, the match ended successfully.
after dinner, we started cam-whoring. =)
then, shopping at the supermarket.

Day 14:
last day at the school.
had lessons with our class till 12pm.
but our class dint organise any farewell party.
sad sia. =(
then, we were brought to chen huang miao AGAIN.
this time, i shopped like nobody's business sia.
spent a BOMB! on shopping.
shiok arhs!~
shopped till 4pm, and we went back to school.
i went to take more photos with my class.
took photos of the school too.
at around 5pm, we went out again.
but now without the teachers.
went out with jieying and company as sophie and sharon both went for the second homestay.
dint really shop lahs.
but ate very nice dessert at a dessert shop.
-YUMMY!-
then, took cab back to school with wendy, weiqi and jieying.
went back to school with wendy first while jieying and wenqi went to get wendy's cake.
my job was to keep wendy in her room sia while they prepare the cake. =)
we managed to surprise her lahs.
sang her birthday song and cream-fought! =)
played from the 6th floor (where we, the girls, stays) to the 4th floor (where the guys stays).
also, the candles is very cute one lors.
can sing song de.
so, the whole night, it was singing the birthday song to us while we sleep.
so noisy lors. =(
slept in wendy's room with wenqi, jasmine, wendy and jieying as sophie and sharon went for the homestay.

Day 15:
packed and got ready to leave the school le.
but the bus was late, thus we had extra time to spare.
went outside to eat the yummy food for the last time. =(
but sad lahs, one of the stores wasnt there.
dint get to eat it lors.
left the school at 10am.
took another lllloooonnnnnggggg bus ride to shaoxing.
visited shen yuan, lu xun gu ju and xian heng jui dian.
at shen yuan, there is a very sad love story that once happened there. =(
a couple was forced to be separated.
at lu xun gu ju, i learnt more about lu xun and that he smokes lors.
-YUCKS!-
and finally, we lodged into a hotel where there are mirror and lifts.
as in the hostel, there is no mirrors, even in the toilets.
imagine not looking into the mirror for days. =(
and also lifts.
imagine climbing 6 storeys everyday.
somemore their 6 storey is far more higher than those in singapore lors.

Day 16:
went to lan ting jing qu.
it was very nice.
there got this big patch of bamboo forest lors.
so nice! =)
then, we went to qiu jin gu ju.
qiu jin is a heroine in China's history sia.
very inspired by her story.
then, we went to da yu ling.
the guide said that we are going to take a 'lan ce'.
we thought it was cable car and got very high.
but when we saw the 'lan ce' she's saying, we all sian diao! =(
it is actually a 'you lan ce' not cable car.

and we saw two dead sparrows.
and a china man still can kick them lors.
so mean! =(
da yu's jing shen is very inspiring too.
then, we went to take the wu peng chuan.
the uncle was very nice.
he rowed the boat while being our part-time tour guide through the boat ride. =)
enjoyed it a lot. =)
had our dinner and went back to pack our luggage once again.

Day 17:
left shaoxing for shanghai le.
checkout from the hotel and begin our llllllllloooonnnnggggggg bus ride to Shang hai.
after the 3 1/2 hours of busride, we reached shanghai.
had our lunch and went to song qing ling gu ju.
what we see is all the real things she left behind.
and her english is superb!
then, we went shopping again.
this time, we went to the chen huang miao in shanghai.
did not shop much as we dun have enough time! =(
but ate the famous xiao long bao(my love).
all thanks to cynthia and jieying for quening for 1 hour. =)
after dinner, we went to wai tan.
it is so beautiful! =)
took lots of photos there.

Day 18:
went to shanghai museum and shanghai shu chen.
at shanghai museum, there were a lot of exhibition.
but i only went to the cultural costumes and pottery one.
at shang hai shu chen, there are 7/8 storeys lors.
it sells books and even cds.
bought lotsa books and cds there.
cos it is damn cheap lors.
then, at night, went to watch a performances by the acrobats.
it was superb. =)
must watch sia! =)
then, had our dinner or supper lahs. =P

Day 19:
our last day in china.
went to lu xun gu ju, lu xun park, lu xun museum and the urban planning centre of shanghai.
lu xun gu ju is the same as any other gu ju lors.
quite sian! =(
then lu xun park where lu xun was buried.
lu xun museum was enriching and i bought a book with almost all lu xun's works.
then, at the urban planning centre,it is similar like Singapore's URA. =)
then. we went to shop at nan jing lu.
it is similar to Singapore's orchard road.
dint shop much again.
then, was dinner.
dinner was the most fun-filled one.
somemore the last one.
the teachers bought a cake and part of the cake were used to cream fight.
i manage to be cream-less as i run out of the room. =)
after, dinner, we went to take the maglev to the airport.
the top speed that the maglev can go is 400+km/hr.
but it only went up to 300km/hr that night.
and we dun even feel that it is going at that speed.
everything outside is still so clear.

soon, we bid goodbye to our tour guide, shen dao.
im gonna miss him. =)
had the window seat on board, wanted to take the scenery outside but the cmaera was too sucky and all the camera took was pure-darkness lors.

reached singapore at around 4.40am in the morning.
my parents, grandma and brother came to fetch me.
im so touched.
hahas.
ate prata for breakfast then went back home to sleep. =)

and now we have come an end of the China trip. =)

was back on yesterday morning at 4.40am. =)
im back in SINGAPORE! =)

anyway, regarding the trip, i have got so so so so so much to say.
for now, i will just say that it rox! =)
i simply miss the people of the trip.
all my ki-siao-ing partners.
also, my 'doctor', my 'ahma' and all.
i have simply enjoyed this trip to the fullest.
im missing the trip NOW! =)

final verdict:
THE CHINA TRIP SIMPLY ROX MY WORLD!
how i wish i can dun come back?
hahas.
i miss the times in china lahs.
i will miss them all man.
hope to have the chance to spend time with them in the future. =)
