Bead Hoarder's Blog Hop!!
Here are my submissions~
This necklace features a glass heart that I picked up about 12 years ago. I only found a handful of them and have been hoarding them and using them sparingly throughout that time. This is the last one and I wanted to celebrate it with this beachy summer necklace. (Waxed linen, recycled glass beads)
This necklace shows off a very beautiful agate that I have had a hard time parting with. It is such a stunning design that I just let it take the spotlight~
This is a peek at my most prized stash. I won't name the creators of all my lovies, that would take hours of research, but if you are also a bead hoarder you will most likely recognize many of the artists.
Don't forget to check out the other blog posts showing how bead hoarders have given up and actually USED some of their stash!
Have fun~

I love both of these necklaces! The heart one particularly caught my eye. I have a similar heart from a necklace I loved as a teenager that I've been saving ever since. I now see I can turn it into something to wear now. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces, I particularly love what you did with the heart.
ReplyDeleteLovely pieces. I love the colours in the first necklace and the simplicity of the agate necklace is just right!
ReplyDeletePretty Pretty! I love the beachy heart!
ReplyDeleteVery nice necklaces!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty... I think the heart one is my favorite though--very sweet and simple.
ReplyDeletei love what you did with your necklaces. and that little blue bead (a cat it looks like) in the lower right hand corner is way cool
ReplyDeleteThank you Paula! I got that Egyptian style cat and fish pendant about the same time I found the glass hearts. They look like ancient Egyptian paste but are reproduction pieces.
DeleteBeautiful necklaces!

ReplyDeleteOh I just love both necklaces. My eye really caught the heart pendant at the bottom of your stash. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mischelle! The heart pendant is from Melanie Brooks of Earthenwood Studios and I'm not sure if I'll ever part from it. I want to make a necklace for myself with it when the right beads come along~
