What does this look like to you? Maybe 10-20 minutes of playing without adult supervision with her brother and some scissors?

I think my eyes have dried enough to hold the camera...

oh no!!!
um... it'll grow back? sorry, that's probably no consolation right now. i think it's happened to just about everyone i know though- i remember when jamie did it to laurie in guatemala. my mom went outside and saw all this black fuzz everywhere, and when she got a closer look, realized it was laurie's hair- and LOTS of it. it did... eventually... grow back.
elle is still a cutie though, no matter what her brother does to her or her hair! :)
Oh Chelsea, That is so sad! She really still looks so darling though....actually it's kinda chic, a little Katie Holmes thing goin' on! Or you could style it like Posh! :) Tell Elle to Strut it, she is still a babe! --I cry over little things like that too. Our kids mean everything to us don't they?
Seriously, Elle is so darling, and she will be sooo cute with a short little haircut. Just get some headbands and dry those eyes my dear! I'm sorry!
Wade and I can not stop laughing. We are so sorry. She really is so pretty no matter what. Hang in there.
Oh. my. gosh.
Well, it had to happen at least once, right? Good thing she is so cute!
Chelsea I'm sorry! That is hard to swallow. I know you can make it work though. Think of all the A-listers that have short hair...Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham to name a few. She will be in style:)
I know it is sad, but do a cute little pixie cut and have her wear cute clips and bows. I was that child once and looking back at the pictures, the cut actually looked pretty cute. I really never looked all that boyish.
oh my! so sorry chelsea...look what I have to look forward to.
Oh Chels! She's darling no matter how close Robbie got with those darn scissors. I can see some cute headbands and clips mending that right up. And fortunately, hair grows back.
I'm so sorry that I can't stop laughing- but I'm with everyone else. You kow she is still adorable and I see no hint of little orphan- especially a boy orphan! Chels you are so funny. You can laugh at me when this happens to Hallie oneday. You and your tiny little bump- this baby will be just as cute as the other 2. And, given your history, only a few more weeks! Love ya!
i agree with the romney's....she has the cutest little face for a pixie..her curls will grow back...i promise!
AHHHH!!! I am dreading that day, I think we will all go through it! They didn't cut it too short I guess:) She still looks adorable!
Oh... I am so sorry. That is so hard. But maybe Christmas could still come to Robblie ... just a little cole in his stocking instead of no Christmas :). She is such a doll... with golden curls or not :).
Wow wow wow. That's a hard one to swallow. But I think pixies are in now. And think of the time you'll save on Sunday mornings!
I had to come out of blog-stalker-hiding for this one.
Chels, this is so sad, it's funny. You are gonna look back on this and laugh one day. I promise.
You blog is awesome. Your kids are adorable, and your life-frosting blog is fantastic. Never knew you were so crafty. I only wish. . .
That is seriously one of my fears! My oldest has hair all the way down her back, perfect for cutting. We only have 1 pair of scissors in the house so I am hopeful that will prevent a mommy meltdown.
Did you ever do this as a kid? I did...
I don't think any little girl can make it past her toddler years with a full head of hair if she has a brother. Zack took a little chunk right off the top of Courtney's head once, she had a nice alfalfa look going for a while! I agree with everyone else, she's a doll no matter what!
