Changing

Our baby is now 18 months old! He loves to climb the stairs by himself, is adding words to his vocabulary almost weekly (though he still chooses to babble most of the time), and overall seems like such a big boy in so many ways.

Although I love his curls, his hair finally was getting so long that when it wasn't freshly washed and combed, it looked very scruffy, and finally I couldn't handle it anymore. So, here are some photos of our freshly trimmed toddler creating artwork:

Our Boy is normally quite vocal in the morning, standing at his crib railing and calling to be picked up. A few mornings ago, I could tell that he was awake, but he was very quiet, so I stayed in bed awhile longer. I felt bad when I finally got up and went to his room, only to find this:

Sky

We are blessed to have many gorgeous sunset views from our home. But this was a quite exceptional evening, with thunderheads adding an extra dimension to the show.
