My blessings....

I love having such cute kids, who are so photogenic! It makes a passion for Photography a lot easier!

Of course Jason has to get in on the photo shoot.

I love the look on Zack's face, when Emma put her head on his shoulder. Teenage brothers are priceless.

Halloween 2011

Emma wanted to be a pretty, harlequin clown. It took sometime to find the right costume. She is so cute! She loves the mask that we got her at our Anniverary trip in Las Vegas.

Zack wanted to hand out candy to kids at the door. We found something for him to be relaxed but scary. I think he had fun. I had fun trick or treating with Emma and her friends and their parents.

Southwest Livestock Show 2011

Here is Emma and her pig, Butterscotch. It had amber hair, before Jason shaved it.
Here is Zack with pig, Oreo. He is Black with a white stripe around the middle.
The kids did well at the show, they sell today. We did lambs last year. I think for the sake of my sanity, and neighborly relations, we will stick with lambs.

From Dirt to Lawn

This wall has actually taken us about 3 years to build. We went to the Bureau of Land Management to get a couple of permits to collect the slate. We then had to go down to the virgin river gorge in Hurricane to collect the slate from the cliff side. Then haul it home and stack it so it would stay as a wall.
It took us a while to level out the yard and a couple of loads of top soil. Which being from California, we didn't like the color of their red top soil here, it was strange.
The finished product! It took the whole neighborhood to help us install the sprinkler system and dig the trenches. Then it took us a few people to help lay 6 palettes of Sod in three hours! Thanks to all our friends and neighbors! Now we need to buy a lawn mower.

July 4th

We went camping up in Brian Head, as we always do for the 4th of July. This time we took the neighborhood. The Butlers; Bob, Cinamon, Janessa, & Mason, The Isrealsens; Jake, Brittany, Kenna, Allie, & Ty, & The Lovells; Darren, Cami, Daniel, Katie, Erika, Addie, Cole and his girlfriend Taleena. Of course my parents came up and Becky with her two kids, she invited Courtney and his two kids.Who had a blast with my kids. They are the same age. This is our camp.
The road we take the 4 wheelers to a look out.
This taking a look back to our campsite and part of Cedar Breaks Monument.

Emma and Taisha. They were butting heads, literally, they found that they could but their heads together and it wouldn't hurt.
Emma and Taisha were pretty much inseparable
Tristan is just a few weeks age difference than Zack. THey were playing with Daniel and Mason all weekend. This is a rare photo, Tristan would not let me get any photos of him. I am patient.

This is Kenna, picking Flowers for her Mom.

Allie also picked some flowers for her Mommy, who was back at camp with Ty who was asleep.
We had a lot of fun! And of course sold the sweatshirts and T-shirts for the Fire Department.

My first Photo shoot

I have always loved taking pictures. I have really only used this love to take pictures of my kids. A friend of mine asked me if I would take pictures of her son, Cole and his fiance, Talina for their engagement pictures.I was SO nervous! Jason of course was very supportive, as always. I hope they turned out well enough for others to like them. To me they are like children, I love them no matter what. Let me know what you think. I hope this is the start of my new adventure, finally.

The Groom, Cole, is going to school to be a pilot. So I called "Sphere One" Aviation, here in Cedar, if we could take some pictures with a small, cessna plane and they were so helpful and friendly! When we got there one of the ground crew, Jeff, went outside and pulled a plane around for us. The Pilot Brenda Blackburn, let us climb inside and Cole had so much fun! Thanks again to "Sphere One'! They are AWESOME!
