Happy Monday everyone! Once again over at Craft A Scene, they are sharing one of my projects I made for my Guest DT spot.
I made the background by swooshing card through Distress Inks diluted on a splodge mat. I then used a stamp from Kanban that I have never used! I used Perfect medium and embossed it with WOW Embossing Powder - Ebony. I added Perfect Pearls to the toadstools and using a Marianne Creatables stamp I stamped the dots and embossed with WOW! White embossing powder.

Midnight Garden
I love moon scenes and am so pleased that I had time to finish this for Craft A Scene's Challenge - create a moon scene.
I had trouble sleeping the other night so I got up and created the background for the scene using watercolour card and Distress Inks. I then spritzed over the top with Perfect Pearls mixed with water in a mister bottle. The next day I stamped the flowers from the Creative Expression set Meadow Flora and embossed them using Black Glint WOW! Powder. Then I randomly stamped more flowers with Distress Inks. I highlighted areas using a white pencil and gave a final spritz using Perfect pearls again over the image. The final piece was mounted onto black card.
Your comments are always appreciated and I try to return the favour!

Creative Expressions Calling Card Challenge
One of my favourite companies, Creative Expressions are looking for Design Team Members! Oh how I would love to work for them. They make the most amazing stamp sets - of which I have quite a few!
Anyway, as part of the application process, we are asked to make a calling card (ATC ). I decided to make this one, in the form of a postcard something which came about in the Victorian Era.
To make this you need :
Three Separate stamps, Flourish stamp, Distress Ink, Adirondack Ink, Versamark inkpad, Perfect Pearls or Cosmic Shimmers and Gilding Flakes, waterbrush, glue pen.
1. First stamp the butterfly with Adirondack ink onto the ATC and create a mask to cover it.
2. Stamp the text background over the top and the postmark. Blend Distress Inks over the card.
3. Colour the butterfly using a waterbrush and Distress Inks
4. Stamp a flourish with Versamark clear ink on the corners at dust with Perfect Pearls /
Cosmic Shimmers.
5. Highlight the butterfly with a glue pen and rub on gilding flakes
6. Finish by going around the edges of the card with a darker Distress Ink Pad

Gold Tag - Tag Tuesday
I made this tag for this week's Tag Tuesday Challenge which this week is to make a tag using the colours of gold or silver. I used a Rubber Stampede Christmas collage stamp which is an old favourite of mine. I stamped it using versamark ink, then rubbed over with gold Perfect Pearls. I coloured the holly leaves with watercolour pencils.I then highlighted them with Distress Stickles. I used a gold sparkling reindeer to finish it off.
