Well, our goal was achieved. We finished our front yard on July 3 and if I do say so myself, it looks pretty spectacular. It’s not an award-winning yard (like the annoying yard down the street from us that ALWAYS looks perfect) but I think it’s great. A big thanks goes out to Shawn for working on it while I was at work on his days off and my mom who helped Shawn go get the mulch from Sutherlands.
We are so happy to have the front yard done because now we will be able to spend some time on the backyard. It won’t happen for a while seeing how it was becoming kind of uncomfortable for me, but maybe next spring or even in the fall after the baby is born. There is so much I want to do and so little manpower, time, or money to do it. We probably spent just under $200 to do the front yard and I don’t even know how much time. The cost included black netting, pins, and mulch. Luckily we still have some of each left (not even close to enough mulch though) for the back yard.
It was a lot of work but we had fun and we are pretty proud of our work. It helps that neighbors have been complimenting us on how good it looks too. Here are some pictures, however it does look best in person.

Way to go you two. I know that is a lot of work and it can be very tiring! We can't wait to see it in person, even though we think it looks fabulous on my older computer. HAha anywho... 3 1/2 more days!
