Updates~*

Leah Dizon's new album 'Communication!!!'

Mood: BAH.
Music: I am by Hitomi

I'm not who you want me to be.

(I'm not going to be very coherent. Please don't be as random as me during GP exam)

1. My life.

I can't say it's completely screwed. but neither can I say it's all fine and wonderful.

I can't say it's smooth, but neither can I say it's all rough and bumpy.

It suddenly hits me that life is seemingly a paradox.

(RANDOM: there's such a thing called 'Curry's Paradox'. Oh, and 'birthday paradox' as well.)

and 'Love Paradox' ---> Refer to Leah Dizon's song. XD

2. Aragaki Yui (my 3rd favourite female artiste)

My love for her has been relit once again. (wait a sec, it was never extinguished in the first place)

To think I JUST REALIZED her debut single 'Make My Day' was released back then on

16TH JULY 2008

You see you see?

My birthday + Gakky's new single + Great tracks + PRETTY PRETTY Gakky = LOVE.

But somehow, like I've said many times, not everyone can accept her vocals.

And I LOVE IT. :)
The PV's her BEST so far. and I love that piglet which trots around. ^^

'そばに...' and 'I believe' were great! :)

Her songs ('I believe', 'Hikari' etc) always get me thinking.
Make me think and think and think and think.
Make me feel and feel and feel and feel.
Make me think and feel and think and feel and think and feel....

3.
I just realised that this is my 990TH POST!!!!!!

Which means, I'm 10 entries away from MY 1000TH POST!!!!!!!

Goodness gracious.

I hadn't realized I've actually been blogging for... 4 years?!

Time DOES fly.

And unknowingly, blogging has been integrated into my life already.

Wow...

I'm still amazed by myself and amazed by how I don't seem to notice things like that.

4.
Went to Night Safari last Saturday to celebrate Hot Babe's birthday.

Unfortunately, there would be no photo of any animals since...

1. It was SO DARK that all animals appear identical ---> A bunch of black fur
2. No usage of FLASH
3. They're like 49876855647475.25457 KM away from us.
(ok, maybe except a few that were separated from us by just glass. Eg: Leopard!)

So basically, it put my 5MP phone camera to the ultimate test.

and it failed miserably.

Some interesting photos:

MUGGER!

and it's actually a type of CROCODILE.
Everyone taking exams should go worship it.

No idea what the 2 JLWQs were trying to do anyway. XD

5.

Jas: We'll be getting our Progress Report for Prelims right?
Eugene: The word 'Progress' is very controversial...

LOL.

6.
I'm trying hard to be happy.

Or rather, to stay happy.

Whenever I'm alone, my mind wanders everywhere.

BAH.

7.

"THANK YOU LEH".

that phrase is always so significant to me.

Random photos:

Joyce's house! Look at that mess that we've created.
That Chinese dictionary is particularly eye-catching. XD

Airport!!! I love this picture. A LOT.

And the most random of all...

Look closely.
That's what you get when the computer hangs and the person using it is trying to find joy in doing stupid things like that.

Disturbing~*

I don't know if I have lost my mind or what, but SATOSHI KON is now my favourite Japanese director of anime films.

First is 'Perfect Blue', which is disturbing enough (if it's disturbing even for a person who ENJOYS watching such twisted and horrifyingly psychotic shows, it IS disturbing).

Next up, 'Paprika', another one of his work which received perfect review by Anime News Network. (Another rather disturbing film) [I'll talk about it once I finished watching it]

And now,

'Paranoia Agent', which is really another critically acclaimed film. and people who watched it said it was just plain crazy.

I love shows and stories that play with human's mind, that deal about the blurring of reality and imagination.

Really. When you think about it, reality and fantasy are just a line apart.

Who knows when your mind is really playing tricks on you?

Like maybe, the existence of some things are really just delusions?

Like maybe, even yourself?

Something random: but what if, (inspired from 'Mima's Room' from 'Perfect Blue') the author of this blog isn't even me?

SICK! + Quizzes~*

I. HATE. FALLING. SICK.

Right now, I feel like my entire skull's stuffed with cotton wool.
My nose has been running at 300000000 m/s (speed of light).
And my throat feels like a bloody piece of sandpaper.
And it feels like a cat's stuck in my throat (whatever that's supposed to mean)

I've used up 5 packets of tissue paper, gulped down a eye-bugling 4 bottles + 5 cups of water today.
(I think I'll probably die from excessive consumption of water)
and I've made 174978545545 trips to the toilet.

and my eyes are swollen,
my hair's a disheveled mess.
my face is of the shade of my room. (pale green)

Oh, and not to forget my voice has become EXTRA SEXY.

URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~~~~*
Something fun (just try it) ^^
What's your outlook on LOVE?
1. You are walking to your boyfriend/girlfriend's house. There are two roads to get there. One is a straight path which takes you there quickly, but is very plain and boring. The other is curvy and full of wonderful sights on the way, but takes quite a while to reach your loved one's house.
Which path do you choose? Short or long?
2. On the way, you see two rose bushes. One is full of white roses. One is full of red roses. You decide to pick 20 roses for your boyfriend/girlfriend.
What color combination do you choose?
(Any combination including all one color is fine.)
3. You finally get to your boyfriend/girlfriend's house. You ring the bell and the maid answers. You can ask the maid to please get your loved one, or you may go get them yourself.
Which action do you take? Ask the maid or do it yourself?
4. Now, you go up to your girlfriend/boyfriends room. No one is there. You can leave the roses by the window sill, or on the bed.
Where do you put the roses? Bed or window?
5. Later, its time for bed. You and your loved one go to sleep, in separate rooms. You wake up in the morning, and go to your boyfriend/girlfriend's room to check up on him/her. You enter the room:
Is he/she awake or sleeping?
6. It's time to go home now, and you start to head back. You can take either road home now: The plain, boring one that gets you home fast; or the curvy, sight-filled road that you can just casually take your time with.
Which road do you choose? Short or long?
Analysis:
1. Which road do you choose to take to your love's house?
The roads represent your attitude towards falling in love. If you chose the short one, you fall in love quickly and easily.
If you chose the long one, you take your time and do not fall in love easily.
2. What combination of roses do you choose to give your love?
The number of red roses represent how much you expect to give in a relationship. The number of white roses represent how much you expect in a relationship. Therefore, if a person chose all red with one white, he/she gives 90% in the relationship but expects to receive only 10% back.
3. Do you ask the maid to get your love, or do you do it yourself?
This question shows your attitude in handling relationship problems. If you asked the maid to get your loved one, then you may beat around the bush, maybe asking a third party to intervene. Avoidance of problems runs high.
If you went and got your loved one yourself, then you are pretty direct. If there is a problem, you confront it and deal with it. You want to work it out right away.
4. Where do you put the roses? On the window sill or on the bed?
The placement of the roses indicates how often you'd like to see your boyfriend/girlfriend. Placing the roses on the bed means you need lots of reassurance in the relationship, and you'd want to see your loved one every day, if possible.
Placing the roses by the window show that you don't expect or need to see your loved one too often.
5. Do you find your love asleep or awake?
Finding your boyfriend/ girlfriend asleep: You accept your loved one the way they are.
Finding them awake: You expect him/her to change for you.
6. Which road do you choose to go home?
The short and long roads now represent how long you stay in love. If you chose the short one, you fall out of love easily.
If you chose the long one, you tend to stay in love for a long time.
What are you STRESSED about??
Choose three scenarios out of these four:
- A group of people taking photographs
- A galloping horse
- A house with a garden
- A statue of the goddess Venus
This test is actually about the causes of recent stress and the vital scenario is the one you left out.
If you left out the one with the
- Group of people taking pictures:
This means that you're very tired with your relationships right now
- Galloping horse:
This means that you are tired and stressed over work recently.
- House with the garden
This means that you are tired with some matters concerning your family or household lately
- Statue of Venus
This means that you are stressed over matters of the heart. Not exactly relationship problems, but more to do with being tired of trying to settling things with your girlfriend/boyfriend.
Negative sign~*
Tears just found their way down my cheeks..
Mood: NEGATIVE 15897845605460000
Music: Hanabi by Mr Children
Hey lady, you lady,
cursing at your life...
I am unhappy.
1. Prelims
Total shit.
And to think I thought MYE was bad enough...
My most dreaded --- GP.
I've been a total screwdriver during prelims, I guess.
Screwing up, screwing up, and screwing up some more...
(be glad I still have this teeny weeny sense of humour, which would've vapourized by the time I finish this entry.)
2. Emotions
Like a blizzard.
Like a tsunami.
Like a rainstorm.
Like something incomprehensible.
Like something fleeting.
Like something heartbreaking.
Like a whirlpool.
Like darkness.
Like a labyrinth.
Like a mirage.
Like a negative sign.
3. NEGATIVITY
Pessimism.
Low self-esteem.
Low self-confidence.
Why am I never good enough for anything?
Why am I never right in everything I do?
WHY AM I ALWAYS THINKING THIS WAY????????
To hell with it.
In the end, in my dictionary, there's nothing but a BIG FAT NEGATIVE SIGN.
Maybe, maybe, I'll never reach equilibrium with you regarding my pessimism...
[took a break to wash away those negative emotions for the time being.]
[listening to: Sayanora mo ienakatta natsu by Shimokawa Mikuni]
3. Endless Story.
I forgot why I got so obsessed with this song.
And to me, each and every song that I listen to has certain memories attached to it.
So for this, you bet it's good memories. :)
4. Words
Words mean so much,
mean so little,
makes matters complex,
simplify things,
adds weight to yourself,
make you look stupid...
And we always have a choice, do we?
To choose how we want to present ourselves, how we want others to judge us, with what we say.
Sometimes, when some words are used too often, their true meaning and value quickly become low.
Don't you agree with me?
It's like currency, like jewelry, gemstones, holidays...
the more easily achievable they are, the more readily available they are, the less value they have.
Maybe, it's because us human beings, like to tread on forbidden paths, like to reach the unreachable.
5. AHHHHH-YU!
"16458 new posts since your last visit"
-AHS forum.
AHHH... THANK YOU ARH. (winks at a certain someone)
And guess what, I'm totally GUILTY for not being around during the most exciting time of the year when AYUMI CELEBRATES HER 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!
ok. this is going to be an ultimate pic spam! (do you think I call myself an AYU-FAN for fun?! XD)
first things first,
all pictures come from AHS FORUM and iloveayu.com
secondly, *takes a deep breath*
I AM GOING TO BUY THE  'A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~'.
UNRELEASED COVER SHOTS FOR ALL SINGLES!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?!?!
*hyperventilates*
Mag scans:
Simply gorgeous!
(though I would pretty much prefer her WITHOUT centre-parting)
Unreleased single covers!
I'm in the state of ecstasy just looking at all those HQ scans. :D
Finally,
For some unknown reason, I feel touched when I see Ayu holding up the huge banner with all singles covers... it just hits me like that.
That Ayu has really really outdone herself. :)
and as expected, this newest album is ranked 1st in Oricon charts.
Even now. :)
6. Psychologically challenging
These days, I'm getting obsessed with various dark, strange stories/movies.
Murakami Haruki's novels are great. :)
Oh and if you like dark and disturbing films, do watch 'Perfect Blue', an anime film by Satoshi Kon. :)
it was critically well received and acclaimed.
It's said to be highly disturbing and startling.
So I'll go watch it later when I'm free.
"Excuse me... who are you?"
- 'Perfect Blue'
7.
I'm really tired so I'll just end off here. :)
Take care everyone!
