Spring is on the way
Since I've been told that I've been a slacker at posting, I'm going to try to post several things over the next few days to catch up. First off is the fact that spring is on the way!! Know how I can tell? We picked our first pea pod a few weeks ago and got to eat the peas from it. Joey loves loves loves to grow and pick peas. It never really seemed like winter here though because I never saw a lot of geese. Canadian geese usually winter here in the valley and everything is covered with their poop, but not this year. I don't know why they weren't here, but because of it, it seemed like winter never happened. Anyway, here are pictures of out pea plants and the first pod that was picked.

ReplyDeleteI want some peas!! Can you send me some?? Pretty Peas!! LOL! I'm a dork I know. But that's why ya love me!! That is really great that Joey likes to grow stuff. I think that if a kid is exposed to where their food comes from, and helps plant it, and watch it grow, they are more likely to eat it. Tell Joey she grows awesome peas. Talk to you later.
