Sisters at the Well

This is me, Deb, Sebrina, Amy, and Carolyn. I can't say enough about these ladies...it's our weekly scripture group called Sisters at the Well. We (plus Monica and Jackie) meet every Monday morning at 9, and we discuss the scriptures and how they impact our lives. As sisters, we have become the closest of friends as we have studied and discussed the things that really matter in life.

If you're interested in starting a scripture group, it's all planned out for you at http://www.sistersatthewell.org/. Two wonderful ladies have prepared lessons, directions, study notes, etc. It's WONDERFUL!!!! We are all moms--two are pregnant, four of us have babies, several toddlers, several school-aged children. We alternate babysitting (at a separate house) each week, so we have a full hour of quiet. It's the best.

Oh wow! That sounds fabulous. It makes me "thirst" for a sisters at the well group. What a fantastic idea. I love that. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing! That's what you are April Perry! I read your last few posts and they were very uplifting! I struggle too with the "spotless syndrome." So great that you do a scripture study group, I think I need to organize that one!

April-
I just saw your blog on the Laycock's blog. I think your blog will be my daily devotional. It is so great to hear your thoughts on mothering intertwined with the gospel. I love the sisters at the well group. What a great idea to have one mom in charge of baby-sitting so the others can really study. I spend so much time thinking about how to increase my children's learning spiritually and in every other way and often let my own interests and learning sit on the back burner. I am excited to check the sisters link out.
