Happy Birthday Jason!

Jason had a birthday last week!  We tried our best to spoil him with shoulder rubs, back rubs, massages and treats.
His pick for a quick dinner at home between afternoon activities and evening church responsibilities was Buffalo Wild Wings- and it was delicious!
This face right here is always my goal for Jason's birthday- total surprise!  This year it came when he realized I made him a chocolate truffle hot fudge cherry ice cream cake- and it was also delicious!
I'm not sure what he wished for, but we are all grateful that last year's wish of not losing his job in the midst of a major merger and several subsequent rounds of layoffs came true.  In fact, 2018 has shaped up to be one of our best year's yet.
Look at that yummy cake!  Everyone enjoyed it.  And look at all of those beautiful poinsettias in the background, just waiting to spread some holiday cheer.
Per tradition, we hid Jason's gifts and gave him clues to find them.  Leah hid the gifts this year and the kids were all more than happy to help him find them. And of course, a really good gift requires intense studying.
Happy birthday to the man that keeps our family sane, helps us run smoothly and keeps us warm and clothed!  We love you!
