Skinny Saturday challenges have started up again, and the current one is Teach Me To Fly. I used K & Co Hannah paper for the background, and stamped with Broken China and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks. I used a downloaded image from Art-e-Zine, and some stamping and embossing and Primas.
The theme on this week's Skinny Saturday challenge is Women at Work, so I found an image of a nurse. I used backing paper and Fired Brick and Mustard Seed Distress Inks to match. I made the word 'nursing' from my Dymo, and added some other stamped bits and a couple of embellishments.

The challenge on Skinny Saturday is called Be Inspired, and we were asked to make a skinny page with a matching atc, on any theme. This reminded me of the very first fat book swap I joined a couple of years ago, where we had to make matching atcs too!
I used Pine Needles and Broken China Distress Inks for my background, which I splattered with water and spritzed with a green Glimmer Mist. I then stamped some Paper Artsy impressions around generally, clear embossing the main image on both the atc and the skinny and using Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the starfish and words. I finished it off with a couple of shell charms in the corner and a clip and fibres to hold them together!!
The new theme on Skinny Saturday challenge blog is Monday's Child based on the poem and I have made one for Thursday's child! I have used K & Co papers for backing, a downloaded image, typed the words on the computer and used some embellishments and ric rac to finish it.
The new challenge on Skinny Saturday challenge blog is 2 themes, Sisters and Vintage Bride. So I have made 2 skinnys! I used K & Co. Hannah papers for the Vintage Bridge one, with Vintage Photo distress ink and embellishments, and Crafty Individuals papers for the Sisters one.
I have been wanting to make a skinny for ages, having done hundreds of fat pages and finally have got round to it. This one is for the Skinny Saturday challenge - Sitting Pretty. I have used 7 Gypsies and Crafty Individuals papers, Aged Mahogany Distress Ink, a downloaded image, the button strip is by K & Co, and a few primas. I am pleased with it and am looking forward to making the next challenge!!
