I didn't realize how much a routine meant to me. The first two weeks here were a little tough. Without a car or people to see...I was pretty discouraged to be in paradise and not having a good time.
Monday morning, I dropped Doug off on campus at 7 am and set up the jogging stroller. I hit the pavement to some great trails the church put in north of campus along the Kam highway. After a 3.5 mile jog, I decided to walk around campus and found myself at the TVA housing playground. Ethan and Sydney were in heaven and played for about an hour. I met a friend from Tahiti and her son Nenoah. I drove home from campus around 9:15 am and my day was off to a great start! It has come a daily tradition and my friend meets me there every morning. I need to get up the courage to ask her how to pronounce her name because I don't remember it.
Nehoah hopped in a little Japanese girl's stroller and Ethan started pushing him around the playground. It was so cute.
I have found my little slice of morning heaven. My day begins with so much fun that everything is better.
