Tree & Temple

First off to the Boy Scout tree lot. While we picked out our trees the kids ran wild playing hide and seek. They even lured in a few scouts to their game, I'm sure the leaders were happy to see us leave and very relieved that we didn't tip over a row of trees. It was torture to gather all the kids to stand still for a minute to get a few photos.

First we stopped at Cactus Taquria, in Berkley. Where we got many outraged looks about how many children we had. (Growing up we always called it "Berzerkly" because people were so weird - the locals proved that to be an appropriate name that night:) The drinks & taco's were delicious, as always. Then off to see the Temple lights. It was clear, cold, beautiful night.

Tree Lot and Temple Lights

We set out on our annual trip to the Boy Scout tree lot and temple lights trip this week.

We were lucky to have to be joined by Papa, and the Perryman family (Liz - Brad's sister)

The kids thought it would be a great idea to play hide and seek in the tree lot, which was all fine and dandy until I tried to take a photo of them and they wouldn't come out. I almost beat them (not really :). Here's the best I could get before they ran off again.

It was freezing at the temple.

Also amazingly beautiful. It was so clear we could see across the Bay to the City.

At a certain point Sammie had, had enough and that was our sign to wrap up the night.

We'll be back again next year.
