It's Almost Here!!!

It's been coming "in a couple of weeks" for about a year now. A few weeks ago I even got to meet Brad's new love:) Isn't she awesome!! I do feel a little bad that I don't share quite as much as enthusiasm as he does, but I'm glad he enjoys it so much. Today he's actually cleaning out the garage to make space for it. So I think it really may be here soon. P.S. I was trying to do my "Annie" pose here, but I still look like an idiot, maybe someday I will get it looking glamorous:)

We actually were in Newport Beach for a wedding and the VW was just a bonus. The temple was beautiful there.

So were the bride and groom. It was a happy day for everyone.

The reception was a lot of fun. We were able to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in years, and I got to "go crazy" on the dance floor. I wish I had more photos.

It brought a lot of great memories back from this perfect night in 1998!

You might notice some familiar faces. It was an amazing day with an amazing party to finish it off. I'll love you forever honey!

"Big Momma!"

Or "Fat Momma!" as Drew always calls me. (Its a good thing I love him so much or I might have to kick him when he says that)

For those of you far away, that keep telling me I don't look pregnant, here are 2 photos that beg to differ.

I feel like I could explode at ANY moment.

10 YEARS!

We had a GREAT weekend trip to celebrate our 10 year mark. And who better to spend it with then our friends from FOREVER - John and Annie. We got married 7 days apart back in 98!

John talked us all into going to a GIANT game (he had free seats!). Hey, anythings fun when spent together - right?

Cute couples

After our dinner in the city, the Blatters and us split ways and we headed to Napa.

Our first date was to a concert in Clear Lake, so we decided to do it again.

In 97 it was Styx's, this year it was Keith Urban and we got GREAT seats.

Yes it was awesome!!

Birthday!

I came home from a long day and my mom and the kids had left me a great surprise.

It was to late to have them that night (all the kids were in bed) but we had them after church on Sunday.

The joke was on all of us - they were reigniting candles!

I thought the kids were all going to pass out from loss of air. They actually blew hard enough (wet enough) to get all but one out. It took about 8 minutes of constant blowing. It added just a little extra moisture to the cupcakes:)

Thanks mom - you are the best. I love you.

Also Cole surprised me by making a video on the computer all by himself. It was AWESOME

From Annie's Blog:

Happy Birthday Rachel!

John: "Do you ever wish we would've waited to have kids?"
Me: (without hesitation) "No way, then I wouldn't be as good of friends with Rach!!"

You really do have this unexplainable connection with those girlfriends that have a first-born the same age as yours--especially when you are pregnant together like Rach and I in Memphis! (I was going to include pictures of Cole and the twins as babies but I don't have pictures that far back in my computer yet!) She is the best and I love her so much! She is vivacious and adventurous and beautiful and kind and smart and funny and so much fun!!

This waitress was VERY excited about my birthday!

Nothing better than "girlfriends and b-day parties", right??
I love you Rach!! Thanks for being such a great friend!
