There were huge, beatiful, pink flower arrangments for Grandma (pink were her favorite). As the family members all threw theirs in and said goodbyes the kids made a comment on each one. "Nice one" means it landed right on top, "O missed it"means it slipped down below, "pretty good" ect. . . It was nice to have a little comic relief at a sad moment. I'm sure grandma enjoyed it:)

In the Street

Monday morning, no school, dad is at home and it's FINALLY stopped raining:) Wes starts pounding on the front door yelling "Bike! Bike! Bike!" This kid was meant for the outdoors!


He can't pedal yet, put he sure can push it around, down the drive way, over the bridge, up the ramp - you name it - he can do it. Check out his 4 wheel drive skills, around and even up the tree!


Next Wes moves onto the "car ride". Now this is a lot less work for the little guy but also much FASTER and a little frightening - but he LOVES it. His ride is powered by big brother Cole and starts at the top of the hill. Notice all 4 wheels are off the ground.


Brad - not having witnessed this before had to grab a video of it.

All by Myself

Look world - I dressed myself today. Then my parents took me to Monterey and I just HAD to pose on this rock to show it off. I think I look pretty stylish:)

Freezing Monterey

As you can tell I have a weak spot for beach photos - especially with such a GREAT photographer (Brad) and such cute subjects (Edgrens). It all makes for a VERY long post (Sorry Bec:). We had a GREAT FREEZING weekend with the family, it was cloudy and even rainy at the beach - but that didn't stop us (or should I say, them) from jumping waves, catching crabs, jelly fish, sand fights and baseball on the beach. We really can't complain - it was January. We also bought our new range that we have been looking into for about 4 months now. It was a discount floor model:)) YAY!

Wes "NO way mom! I am not walking on this FREEZING cold, wet sand."

Me "Ok fine Wes, I'll just carry you." This is his usual M.O. not just when it's cold. Signs of the definite baby in the family:)

Love Day

Brad and I spent the weekend in Hawaii, then I came home to kid Valentine extravaganza!! The kids and grandma had surprised us by decorating the house with streamers and hearts all over the house - so cute. Then the kids went off to school with Valentine parties and candy GALORE!! After they came home and I made a nutritious dinner of pink pancakes and a Valentines Day cake with the kids. A day truly filled with LOVE:)
