Alaska State Fair 2011

Last Friday we went and enjoyed a evening at the fair. The weather was beautiful after a week of rain. James brother Jacob came with us, which was nice because James a I were able to go on some rides together. Blake went on his first Merry-go-round and loved it. We saw the huge veggies and the animals, they even had some kangaroos this year. The biggest disappointment of the day was the Turkey leg, I was looking forward to it all day long, but when we got it, it ended up being a pork leg. Talk about your false advertising, it didn't even taste that good. But over all it was a wonderful day, and a  great memory .

This pumpkin weighed around 750 pounds

James and I on the para-gliding ride. You really felt like you were flying.

A couple of pirates we met while we were eating lunch
