Hey there! It's Kira and I am back with another 8.5x11 scrapbook layout using a cut file from The Cut Shoppe. Here's a look at my layout:
I started with a photo of my youngest son on one of our daily adventures around the duck pond. We go so often that he got into the routine of going a certain way every time. So when I was choosing my cut file, I decided to go with Going My Way.
I cut it on white cardstock and then adhered it to a pale pink ombre background. I positioned it slightly off center, just to add some more visual interest.
I positioned my photo towards the lower half of my layout, and then built an embellishment cluster to the left of it.
I added my title on top of the cluster and added some feathers below it, since we were looking at the ducks in the photo.
I added a second embellishment cluster in the top right. I finished off the entire layout with some black splatters.
Thanks for stopping by!

You'll Move Mountains | Tarrah McLean
Hi TCS friends!
It's Tarrah McLean back you and today I am sharing a new layout using one of the travel themed cut files called 'Going My Way'
It's Tarrah McLean back you and today I am sharing a new layout using one of the travel themed cut files called 'Going My Way'
I cut the cut file from white cardstock as I knew that I wanted to use that blue paper as a background paper. I like how the white pops against the blue background.
Once adhered, I machine stitched around the circles.
The cut file is awesome for travel pages and just general outdoor pages too!
I attached foam tape underneath the photo mat to create some dimension and also under the 'You'll Move Mountains' ephemera piece that acts as my title for the layout.
I added a few extra embellishments to finish off the layout including layering the corresponding wooden letters on top of the N, E, S and W.
Make sure to check out The Cut Shoppe Etsy store and grab some gorgeous cut files to use in your craft!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy, Happy Moments
Welcome to the Cut Shoppe blog! Wendy here today to share some inspiration using
the awesome cut file Going My Way and some Simple Stories.
Normally I wouldn't use such a bold paper for my background, but by cutting my design out of white cardstock and filling in lighter colors behind my picture, the dark blue background just looks stunning.

Design Tip: Some fun twine to add a fishing touch wrapped through the design are one of those special things that draw attention to your layout.

Here, There, Everywhere
Hello everyone!,
Nathalie here bringing you a new layout using a few cut files from the Cut Shoppe Etsy store. For this project I have combined the Star Light Star Bright, Going My Way, and Here There Everywhere cut files. The combination of these three worked beautifully to bring my idea to life.
First, the two figure cut files (Going My Way, and Star Light Star Bright) were welded to create a large 'compass' image. I chose to only cut three quarters of the shape on Shimelle's Starshine collection patterned paper; once cut, I backed the empty spaces with vellum. The cut-out was then anchored to the right side of the layout with glue dots.
To create the background, some simple gouache was applied to watercolor paper (in different colors/rainbow) around the 'compass' shape. The picture was then placed surrounded with clusters of ephemera from Shimelle's Starshine collection, and Amy Tangerine's Better Together collection.
Lastly, to create the title, I set the Silhouette Cameo to perforate the edge of the Here There Everywhere cut file; I used the perforations to hand stitch the design using thread of the same color as of the 'compass' shape.
I hope this inspire you to combine cut files to create a unique shape for your projects. There are so many beautiful designs in the Cut Shoppe Etsy store, and the possibilities are infinite.
Till next time,
Happy Crafting!

Go
Hello and happy Saturday! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing my last layout for The Cut Shoppe! Thank you so much to Ashley for the opportunity to be a part of such a great team! I am a forever fan of her designs!
I always seem to gravitate to the bigger background cut files and I instantly fell in love with the compass shape of Going My Way.
I used white card stock when cutting out my background. I then adhered it to a darker pattern and filled in two of the circle spaces with different papers. I also added some stitching with my sewing machine around each layer.
Thank you for stopping by today! You can download this cut file plus find lots more in TCS Etsy shop! Have a great day!

Here is a look at the final layout.
A few close ups of all the yumminess...
The base of the layout is white card stock along with the cut file. I backed the cut file with various papers from the collection and embellished with pieces from the cut apart sheet. I am so in love with the final layout! Make sure that you head over to the shop and check out the Sunny Side up collection and all the other fabulous cut files here.
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
