shine | orange gearle

Hi!  Orange Gearle here with a layout I made using the Flower Garden cut file. Here is a look at the layout:

I cut the file with with card stock and then I  backed it with papers from Cocoa Vanilla Studios Happiness collection.

I added  couple pieces of flair from {a flair for buttons}, and some fussy cut butterflies. I also fussy cut a bunch of itsy bitsy flowers from the flower paper.

For the title I used these acrylic pieces from Elle's Studio that match this collection perfectly!

I made a video of my process, if that's something that suits your fancy!

See you again soon!  XO o.g.

Summer Flower Garden | Kelly Janes

Hey there friends! Kelly here with you today to share a new layout using the Flower Garden Cut File.

I typically will just "slice" apart a cut file as I go in Cricut Design Space, but in this instance I knew that I would use the flower portion of the Flower Garden Cut File over & over! I decided to upload this cut file twice into Design Space...Once leaving it just as it is here with the title Bloom & Grow & then a second time with only the flowers. This way all of the work will be done when I want to use just the floral portion of the cut file! [There is a step by step tutorial on how to do this included in the process video at the bottom of this post.]

I cut the cut file in white cardstock and then backed it with a light blue polka dot patterned paper. I positioned multiple summer themed embellishments to go along with my photo! This photo just screams summer with it's warm tones and the fact that we are enjoying dinner on the patio! HA!

Now you can take a look at my process video that includes a Cricut Design Space tutorial.

Thanks so much for spending part of your day with me and remember to head to the Etsy Store to check out all of the cut files!!

A Floral Traveler's Notebook Layout | Elsie Robinson

Hey crafty friends, it's Elsie here! I have a Traveler's Notebook page to share with you today, using the gorgeous Flower Garden cut file.

I'm seriously in love with this cut file because of the whimsical flowers and cute title. It's got everything you need in one cut file to easily create a pretty page!

I sized the cut file so it was slightly larger than my TN, which meant it could really make a statement by spanning the entire length and width of the pages.

I cut the file from white cardstock and used papers from the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection to back the leaves and flowers.

And I also wanted a couple more clusters of flowers in the bottom corners. To do this I duplicated the cut file and used the knife tool to separate some of the flowers and leaves. I didn't bother neatening up the edges with the eraser or point editing tools, because I knew I would be trimming the offcuts once the flowers were glued onto my page.

Although neatening up the edges would be a good idea if you wanted to cut the title separately on some patterned paper, for example. But for this page I kept the title white and used a woodgrain background which helped make the title stand out.

This page was so fun to put together, and even if TN's aren't your thing, you can easily follow this design on any kind of crafty project!

Have a great day everyone!

"Bloom & Grow" Layout with Donna Espiritu

Hello! Donna here sharing my very first layout as a design team member for The Cut Shoppe. I love anything with florals/flowers and I knew I wanted to use the Flower Garden cut file for my TCS project today.

This is the layout I did with the Flower Garden cut file.

I like adding a bit of color and texture to my background so I splattered some mists before adhering everything in place.

I matted the photo with a doily, some messy thread and fussy cut small flowers from a 6x6 paper. I also used some rub-ons and die cuts/ephemera.

I backed the cut file with papers from the Pick Me Up collection by Paige Evans and used foam dots for a bit of dimension. I decided to add these gold enamel dots in the center of each flower as well.
I added a cluster of embellishment in the middle of bloom & grow to mimic a bouquet of flowers.

That's all and I hope to see you all soon again. Thanks for dropping by!
Happy crafting,

Marvelous Easter - Erica Thompson

Hello and Happy Monday!  Erica here with you today with my very first post as a member of The Cut Shoppe Design Team!  I am beyond excited to be here this term and so thankful to Ashley for letting me be a part of such a wonderful team!  Today I want to share a layout I created using one of the cut files that was released on March 15th!

Perfect for all your spring/Easter layouts!  I am using the Flower Garden file and fell and love with the gorgeous flowers!
One thing that I love about using cut files is that you can alter then to fit what you need!  As much as I love the Bloom & Grow saying on the file I knew it did not match my photo so I simply just cut it off!  I am sure this can be removed before cutting but I had a bunch of files already cut ahead of time since my scrap time is very limited.
I backed the file with beautiful papers from the Paige Evans Pick Me Up collection and decided to use a piece of white card stock as my base.  I added some color to my base using the packaging technique and also added drops of color that matched my papers.
I backed my photo with a few layers and embellished lightly around the photo adding a few more flowers from the Pick Me Up ephemera pack.

The Cut Shoppe has you covered for all your cut file needs!  Looking forward to seeing your Easter photos mixed with some of the fabulous cutfiles from The Cut Shoppe soon!  Thanks so much for stopping today and I will be back later this month for more fun!

Bloom & Grow by Jill

Hey friends, I'm back with another  layout using some Spring-themed cut files from The Cut Shoppe Etsy store.  I used the adorable Flower Garden file on this page about my daughter.

I started by sizing the file to be centered on the bottom half of my page, then cut it out of pink patterned paper.

I backed the file with a multi-colored paper, pulling out the light and bright pinks in the photo to match.

I added a few coordinating embellishments, then placed the word YUM right on the photo; I've been into adding embellishments on the white space of my photos lately, covering up unimportant items like the shopping cart in this picture.

I love how the cut file really shines on this layout, and a few touches of gold embellishments finished off this page!

Thanks for checking out my newest creating for The Cut Shoppe!
