Of all the new releases, I think my favorite has to be the Welcome To The Office stamp set. It's so versatile with its many different stamps that can be used in so many different ways! So, of course, I had to use this set when making today's card - are those ink blots and coffee ring stamps to die for or what?

If you notice a tiny bit of difference between the card in the video and the card in the still photographs, it's because I had two ink accidents while filming the making of the card. So I had to make the card a second time - I thought I was filming the process but I forgot to hit the "record" button after I put in a newly charged battery.

(Other than the moment when I suddenly figured out the meaning of life, you didn't miss a thing.)

So here's my card:

Get Well
SUPPLIES: Bazzill cardstock; Memory Box card; We R Memory Keepers Anthologie 6x6 patterned paper pad; Hero Hues black ink; Martha Stewart pigment inks; Welcome to the Office stamps; Hero Arts gems

Thanks for stopping and have a blessed day!

Sweet Memories Card & Video

Hello, Stamp Lovers!

It's Deborah here today with a card and a video!

I used two of the June stamp releases in my card today:

and

This card could be used for a variety of occasions: anniversary, friendship, even a coming-of-age event. I got to playing with my PrismaColor pencils again because the image was so perfect for them - sort of old-fashioned and wanting rich color that had some texture to it. I could have used Copics, but I just love the depth of colored pencil on the page! Besides which, Copics have really stolen the spotlight for the last few years so I like to rally around my equally beautiful pencils (which are a heck of a lot more easy on the pocketbook, as well).

I'd like to mention here that I used one of the Nestabilities Label Eight dies by Spellbinders - as you can see, it works quite nicely with the label stamp from the Beautiful Rose set.

And here's the video!

She's currently a staffer for the online magazine, Scrapbook News & Review and a member of the Memory Box design team. She also teaches local and online card classes in an attempt to subsidize a chronic case of supply-related “I Wants.” Past paper-related thrills include co-owning and editing Lily Pad Cards, being chosen for the Win-a-Day competition on the Hero Arts blog, and being an original Hero Arts Hostess. Deborah’s been published in Cards, Paper TrendsStamper’s SamplerSomerset Studio ,
Take Ten, and Paper Crafts Magazine.
