The Groom's Cake!

The special couple in the post above wanted a deliciously moist chocolate sheet cake with blueberries...and with a little sprinkle of chocolate curls. Mmmmm...Yummy!

Often in the cake business the feedback from our customers is in a since a report card. The bride made it a point to tell us that of her 3 wedding events (2 receptions and 1 open house) this chocolate cake by far tasted the best. That pretty much made my day.

Nicolette and Mark's Wedding!!

Our wonderful friend Nicolette got married and we were so blessed with the oportunity to make both their wedding and grooms cakes. The grooms cake was pretty much death by chocolate with chocolate chips in the cake and fudge filling and frosting but very addicting and melted in your mouth. Thanks to our sister Hannah for assisting in the design for the grooms cake! She does great detailing and with my broken thumb we for sure needed her help and great artisitc skills!
The wedding cake was delicious with vanilla layers and strawberry layers, which the strawberry had strawberries baked into it with strawberry jam filling that even I couldn't keep my hands off of it at the reception! Congrats to the amazing couple!

About Us

"Bake me a Cake" is ran by Texas Adams and Rachel Dunn...The Cakers!

As a young teen I (Texas) was a nanny for a dear family. The mom began to make cakes for a local battered woman's shelter. She saw my interest in her endeavors and recruited my help, bought me a cake decorating tool kit and gave me a gift card to take the beginners Wilton Cake Decorating class. Her early efforts not only inspired me but they developed into a national charity.

From this beginning I began to take more classes and to make cakes for family and friends. Cake decorating is twice as fun when there are two of you so I recruited the help of my sister Rachel. She in turn began to make cakes for her friends and recruited my help. In mid 2010 we joined efforts and launched our business, Bake Me a Cake.

We pride ourselves on making custom cakes and cupcakes that not only look amazing but taste amazing.
