Much Obliged!

:) I LOVE this stamp! Ok...today's Stamp Simply challenge (from the ever so talented Sharon Johnson) is, well, pretty simple. All you have to do this week is create a thank you card. I have this stamp that I have never used...the sentiment that is...and I love it! It's a riot! So for todays card I pulled out a little Cat's Pajamas.

Take a peek....

How funny is that! The cat image is one of my favs and I absolutely love the sentiment. Ok...I've said that about a dozen times in this very short post. ;)

Now head on over to the rest of Sharon's team....

A Holiday Hippity Hop And A Gift For One Of You!

Happy Hip Hop Thursday! Hope you are all having a great day! Me? I'm going to be running around like a crazy person for part of today! A little last minute shopping....still some prep needed for a classroom party....so many things so little time. Thank goodness it's Thursday! I am so looking forward to catching up with all of the Unity peeps at SCS! :)

...and how many shopping days till Christmas? Ah! Still working on it and so quickly running out of time!

I have three things for you guys today. First, I used Unity's Bitty Tags for a Christmas thank you. I need a ton of them! This one is super simple...my version of the inchie....

I used my copics to color the images and punched them and the dsp with my 1 inch circle punch. EPLS.

Now on to a layout. This is a photo that was taken a couple of summers ago while my hubby and I were in Florida at some business thing.....

The paper is Cosmo...the ribbon is PTI....sticky hearts from SU and chipboard pieces as well...some of which I colored with my copics. I used Unity's All About Me, Simple Pleasures, and the September KOTM.

Happy Holidays to You All!

My gift to one of you! Please leave a comment below to be included in a blog candy drawing for the Worn Music background stamp from Unity!

Good luck you guys!

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Merry Christmas!

Be sure and leave your comment by 12 midnight EST...I will choose a winner and post it to this thread in the morning! :)

Now hop on over to the talented Patter Cross. Check you all in a bit! :)

Thank You Monday!

Todays Monday challenge is to create a thank you card. Ok...it's supposed to be for the holidays...but I'm going to confess that I found this new paper and it's sort of holiday-ish. Ok...holiday-ish, in that it has red in it. Couldn't help myself I had to use it and last night after finishing up my dirty dozen stuff the only thank you stamp I could find in the mess that was my stamping space was Gratitude=Joy....not exactly holiday-ish...but I was to tired to clean and then stamp some more!

Here's my card....

That's it for me. Be sure and check out the rest of the gals....

A Stamp Simply Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving! :) So how was it? Are you totally stuffed? I am heading to bed after this post...of course, I should be heading out for a 10 mile run with all that we've eaten today....OOC....out of control! ;)

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge is here! This week...create a 'thank you' card. That's it....no other restrictions apply! ;) Are you game? If so, and you plan on uploading to SCS be sure and use the keyword ssnotime63.

I kept mine super...SUPER....simple! :) When all else fails....pull out the rub ons! ....or when you are looking for quick and easy! Here's my card......
With the exception of the dew drops this card is all SU. The paper is Kiwi Kiss dsp. I also used Kiwi Kiss card stock. The ribbon is Kiwi Kiss...it's double sided which is super cool....although I have yet to use the other side....

I have determined that green is my favorite color....well, specifically Kiwi Kiss! I LOVE this color! It's so calm and soothing..... :)

One Layer Unity & Blog Candy...Bump

Bump...the last couple of weeks have been insane! Thankfully, our big fall event is finished...with the exception of a few three dozen or so thank yous....I'm bumping this because I completely forgot to put a deadline with this challenge! How about we give it until this Saturday. I will announce the winner then. Looking forward to all of your super cute Christmas cards! :)

Back again!

OhMYGoodness! We spent 1 hour and 28 minutes in a child hair salon this afternoon! Is that even possible? Our appointment was at 4...two at 4 and one at 4:15... I get it...15 minute appt's. Makes sense...their little noggins aren't exactly covered with tons of hair...their boys! But the poor stylist was all alone! Her co-worker ditched her at some point during the day. So there she was trying to make it work! Thank heaven for the slide and all the trains! I didn't even realize we had been waiting that long!

So we are home and I am getting ready to get to stamping. I promised you guys I would share a little challenge and some blog candy. So here I am with the Artisan challenge. Ours was to use rub ons but since it's getting so close to Christmas, let's just make it Christmas cards again. If you use rub ons I'll throw in a bonus! ;) How's that?

First I want to share a little card I made the other day. It's a one layer I made with the Ocean Tides paper from PTI. I made this the same day as the Christmas one I posted a couple of days ago.... The stamp is from Unity's Grow kit. This is one of my FAVORITE kits! I LOVE this big bold flower! :)

But what's wrong with this card.......take a close look at the stitching....holy heck! I think I have broken another sewing machine! Is that even possible? This thing gets so crazy! Skipping stitching...don't even ask me what was going on with the stitches on this card! AH! Craziness! Do you take these things in for servicing? Maybe I should be looking into that! ;)

Anyway...on to the candy! If you are participating, link your card here. You are entering to win this....

Ok, dokey...I need to dash and get some more stamping done! I finished my cards for hip hop. I so wish I could show you now! I used the November kit of the month. SOOOO cute! Now I'm off to work on the Dirty Dozen stuff. That gallery is filling up with some BEAUTIFUL stuff! :)

Hope you are all doing well! Have a great night! :)

Ever So Grateful

Happy Inspiration Tuesday! You all know how much I LOVE Beate's Inspiration challenge (#29)! It's one of my favorites! This weeks challenge is AMAZING! Take a look at the piece that Beate chose for us....

How much do I love the colors and 'cleaness' of this picture. Everything is wonderful! I actually wasn't quite sure what direction I wanted to take for this one. I didn't want to lose anything! ;) So I pulled out some kraft, some twine, and my Gratitude=Joy stamp from Unity...to create this....

Simple and clean. My favorite!

Be sure and check out the rest of Beate's team....

Hope you are all doing well! I'm off to try and get caught up! Yesterday was a crazy day! Two of my boys were sick...I'm actually typing this Monday night...hoping that tomorrow morning by the time you all read this everyone will be well again! If not...I won't be catching up on anything! :) Just still giving a ton of hugs and running around getting this and that for the boys!

Post you all soon!

....Brought to you by SCS and AJ for World Card Making day! Of course I am posting it just a wee bit late! I will have to celebrate a day late as Saturday was a busy one! Not a ton of stamping going on around here! Bummer!

So here's my card for the sketch.
So what did you all do for World Card Making Day? If you came by here and signed up for the blog candy I will be announcing the winner in just a bit. Thank you so much for all of your kind words and for playing along!

...And by the way! I noticed that I hit the 100,000 mark! Holy Heck! It's time for more blog candy! I will also be posting a picture of some goodies that I will be offering up as a thank you for stopping by and encouraging me! You guys ROCK! :)

Simply Becky!

It's time to Stamp Simply! We've spent the last month or so focusing on a different member of Sharon's team. This week it's the incredibly talented Becky Oehlers! I so adore Becky! She is such a sweetie and so very talented!

I was so excited about this one! I actually have a stamp designed by Becky! I'm thinking you can't go wrong using it for this one! The stamp is from Papertrey Ink. It's called First Fruits. I even used some of the paper that Papertrey released to match the set. Here's my card....

This is one of my favorite sets! ...and to think I know the designer! Isn't Becky amazing!

Be sure and check out the rest of the team...

A Little Unity For A Little Inspiration

Inspiration challenge are my FAVORITE! I know I've said this before but...sorry...I'm going to say it again!...you cannot make a mistake with an inspiration piece! Anything from the piece can inspire. Anything! Color, layout, over all theme...anything! I really love when I can just run with something and go wherever my 'mood' takes me.
...ooo...that's a little scary! LOL....

Todays inspiration piece from Beate for this BIC23, is so clean and crisp but with a touch of whimsy to me. Here's the piece.....
I love the 'white' space and the circles on the rug...the colors...the little tree in the background...so as I was looking at it, I remembered that I had this new little something from Unity...I ordered it a couple of weeks ago but hadn't had a chance to ink it up. I added a little sentiment...some fun ribbon and here you go.....
Simple, right??? Here's the deets....The stamps are both from Unity. The sentiment is from Gratitude = Joy, the circles in the bottom corner is a single called Hullabaloo. I stamped the image in Basic Gray and colored them with my Copic markers. Since I didn't have a lot of coloring I didn't have a problem with 'bleeding' from the markers. This is so not the 'right' ink to use for these markers! :) Then I cut a sheet of vellum to the same size as the card and glued it down with my vellum tape...that stuff really works! I used my ribbon from SU...it's Kiwi Kiss.
That's it! EPLS! I so love EPLS! Be sure and check out the rest of Beate's team...
Hope you are all having a great morning! I'm off to check out the rest of the team and then just try and clean up around here! What a mess my house is!
Have a wonderful day! :)

Are You Feeling It?

Well, by that I mean my interpretation of Beate's wonderful inspiration challenge..today is BIC20 if you are uploading at SCS. I really love this piece. Check it out....
I really love this. I knew I wanted to use some folliage and the burgandy mat reminded me of fall...and since I just got this paper and stamp set from Papertrey...I went in this direction....

So what will move you with this piece? I can't wait to see all of the projects. Inspiration challenges truly are a favorite of mine. I love how there are so many things that might get you going.
Be sure and check out the rest of Beate's team for some more takes on this piece....
Hope you are all having a great day! I actually made a few of these as I needed some thank yous for different people today. I am off to send these. Clean my house....the filth! Ugh! Laundry....You know...all of that fun stuff that really gets your creative juices flowing!
I WISH! My house would be the cleanest on the block if that were the case!
Have a great day! :)
